Those turret overclocks are insane.
I need to unlock the overclocks because all of my Engineer runs have ended in my dying while my turrets *putt putt* at grunts, killing them in 10 hits.
Ya, the overclocks are super important. I'd focus on getting those right away.
Definitely need to get your overclocks first. Then runs get much much easier.
the one i love is the tracks overclock, got that and basically had an army of turret tanks following me around the place

Tracks, wall mining, and plasma is my favorite for turrets. Wall mining, plasma, and +100 ammo is best.

Try digging tunnels into the rock when the swarm is incoming, make sure not to make the walls too thin, then they'll all walk around into your funnel of firepower. You can then mine out of the end/side if you get overrun

going full electric is also stupid OP. Turrets, Voltaic pylon things, drones and stubby, everything that follows you just dies.
Should make a class where the guy with drill arms can use them as melee. Also, should have a worm boss that can go under and attack by breaching the ground.

I will recommend for any future all turret runs, you dont taking the mining on the LMG turrets mainly cause since you went for plasma, you're destroying walls for plasma to bounce off of.
That makes sense but at this difficulty it worked quite well.

Some doesnt realize, but the turrets have charges, you drop a turret when you dont move for a sec.
When i am mining, i dont press the Move button / Stick. He will still mine and drop a turret.

Engi definitely feels like the strongest class. Hope we get some kind of balance patch that gives the other classes some love
I'd say Engi is 100% the strongest class. Hopefully they don't nerf him into the ground but instead buff the other classes.

I've started playing it on my channel. Still pretty new to it.
Should have chosen to have turrets follow you instead of them mining.
I really like the mining plasma though 🤣
Mining turrets lets you outpace even a foreman driller in ripping through terrain. Get enough reload speed on the turrets and it still feels like your turrets are following you. It's also interesting for mining krakatoa turrets as the mining directive allows the fire beam to pierce terrain instead of being stopped dead by it (I would go tank treads and mining directive on krakatoa turrets since they have limited range)

You could have re-rolled for the 3rd weapon! They all suck and if you dont have it overclocked just reroll 😂❤️

Don't ever pick the 2 or 3 level fancy options, as they make you weaker in the long run, as you skip additional stats.... Always go for 1 level options
I do agree that they aren't generally great to take. For content they can be though just for getting overclocks on more weapons 🙂
@@TomVsEverything Aye, there is that tbf, and it can be nice to rush to overclocks for the sweet bonuses! I did do that at first and then I started skipping them and I noticed by the end I could drop elites and bosses so much faster it was ridiculous 😅
Anyway, didn't say it before, great vid! Was fun to see Scout's future, considering I played until got to Engineer and then been focusing on that more, like I did with DRG.

With the Pickled Nitra artifact. You get a damage buff per nitra but you also take a movement nerf.
@pitbullgamer8116 When you have pickled nitra it does.
Paint job such a useless perk as it skips weapon tiers that would have a stat like reload speed or damage instead of the imaginary weapon improvement. I think they are poking fun at people that buy cosmetics in shooters, cause the paint job doesn't make the weapon better lol.
It's useless but it's also kinda hard to get 2 weapons up to level 18 in a single run. That for me is the best use for it.
@@TomVsEverything okay I got you. I was watching the drill video and your beams were lacking because of all the cosmetic skips. I enjoy the runs though.
Ok? Just get more upgrades for it even if it's already maxed if you like the weapon.
Some weapons literally only care about getting a particular overclock and that alone basically carries it, so if you're dropping a few paint jobs on a weapon meant for support you can blitz to the overclocks if its not meant for damage or doesn't need much in the way of reload speed.
Example: Wave cooker essentially only cares for the nano wave overclock and reload speed so the stacking fire DoT does all the work.
@@craigfunk3453 that dot would improve as they have an upgrade for that. It's literally making fun of you when you pick that upgrade, as it's not an upgrade it's a nerf to the overall weapon ability. The weapons have levels so there is no guarantee that any upgrades you pick stack atop the max level unless the game specifically states that much. Logically you could assume that max level means max level and upgrades picked afterwards are useless, unless they are blanket upgrades like status effect over time or critical dmg.
