    The condenser fan motor “getting stuck” most likely is the defrost cycle…did say it was otherwise working fine

    Undersized return for sure. Looks like adding another one somewhere would be fairly easy in that attic.

    Replaced 5-6 of the ecm condensing fan motors on the newer rheem rhuud units . Fans get noisey, shut off and head pressure sky rockets . 24 volts coming off contactor and high voltage present so fan should never shut off but they do, replace the fans and haven't heard back from customers since. They were all less then 1 yr old too

    I would check the defrost, if it's not coming on ice will build up, cuts off, ice melt, pieces hit the fan.

    I think people call a hvac repair company and then run around and find everything they can to put in his way and flood the area wih water.

    It’s hard switching bags and getting used to finding tools again. Especially if you switch to a smaller bag. I love veto pros I have 4 different ones

      VETO PRO PAC warrants that its merchandise will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years after retail purchase, exclusive of ordinary wear and tear. This warranty extends ONLY to the original owner and is only valid if your bag was purchased from an authorized Veto Pro Pac dealer.

  • @rkochair
    @rkochair Рік тому +5

    You gotta put a plenum on that return side even if its a 3" or 4" can so that you get good air volume into that coil. Possibly more return air if return duct size is too small.

    whoever installed that system, should enlarge return to at least 14. inch within proper plenum. I been doing service work for almost 15 years here in Tampa bay. Seen so Many installs with undersized ductwork. Fix the return and check static also. Possible noise during a defrost maybe?

    12" flex on a 2 ton system? Add a return air plenum and at least a 14" flex. Gotta bring back what you're putting out.
