I am sitting here coughing up a storm while my backyard fills with hedera helix. Your video is VERY unique and the only recipe I could find after 15 mins of hunting. Thank you!
What a great video! I don't have any place to grow, so, I purchased Nature's Way, English Ivy. I took my first ever supplement of it last night, and WOW. I noticed a difference with just one of the pills. I took my second this morning, and even more WOW. I feel such relief, and energy. Mainly in my lungs, but, It's almost like I am on a feel good drug. I'm delighted!
Thank you for the encouragement! 🙏🏻 I’m glad you enjoyed the tea. I’ve been picking some dead nettles today amongst others and have them drying out to keep the tea flowing all year round 🫖
Ivy grows with wild abandon all over my place, it would consume the house if I let it! Traditionally it encourages good spirits and keeps the bad ones away, it also makes the very best Yule decorations, much more eco friendly than tinsel. If you ever spend any significant time cutting it back (doors & windows sometimes have to be kept clear) you will find that the lung cleansing saponins, the soapy bits, will give you a hearty cough! It soon wears off though! Also good for coiling into a party crown, if you don’t mind the spiders. Happy foraging! xxx
@@neilmakav70 I added 100 ivy leaves to 1 liter of water (like making an infusion or "tea") and jarred it overnight. The next day when shaken it produces bubbles. You then strain the leaves and use the resulting soapy liquid as soap!
I once had a very badly infected finger from a jabed fragment of wood, my finger was extremely painful dark swollen and the pain was starting to shoot up my arm and I got scared so I made a strong ivy tea added salt and soaked my finger in that warm mixture many times that day! By the next day all the pain was gone and my finger was completely back to normal except for the darkish skin which took a few days to normalize. I spared my body from a weekly dose of harsh antibiotics which would have caused some organ damage as they always do. When I have body aches I put ivy leaves in a little cloth bag or Old sock handful against my achy area leave it there for as long as needed until the ache is gone. Ivy has anti-inflammatory properties. I also boil ivy leaves sodium bicarbonate and use it to wash my dark clothes because the water is kind of greenish. I have also placed some Ivy branches in water inside my house to help clean the air. Ivy is an extremely useful plant

Did it work? I have been searching for hours and am shocked there are no testimonials available for tea of the raw green leaves..
