I had this one, I think I completed maybe one race ever. But I made tons of custom tracks, that was a blast. Great channel by the way, lots of awesome short videos that really bring me back to this awesome era of PC gaming
yep, the editor was great. Now that you made me think about it, I have to try it again ... I hope it still works fine like the rest of the game (you never know on windows 10). Glad you like the channel, and thank you for subscribing! :-)
The lack of a 3dfx glide or direct3D mode doesn't help. It only supports Rendition Vérité cards, so you can only play it in sotware mode nowadays (unless you have a retro pc with an actual Rendition card).
True, but I played this game a lot during its time, and I didn't care about the graphics. Gameplay has always been #1 for me. I built four tracks when this game was relevant, and three of them were well received by the SODA community at the time. That's one of my better childhood memories.
This game was addictive as a kid coming up, awesome game

Insane
great stuff!
Damn this game looks beautiful. I've never seen this one. It reminds me of sega rally.
it is not well known, partly also because it never had a glide or direct3D patch (it only supported Rendition Vérité cards).
This reminds me a lot of Mountain Rallying that I would see in BMX games…
I think you like racing games haha so do I
😂

The graphics are so-so even for their time.

I don't know about you, but I like these low polygonal visuals with textures, like Daytona USA!
