Masterpiece indeed. Still playing SODA in 2024 trying to break track records from the last 25 years. Raced a friend online just recently and that really brought back memories. Nice video :)

I grew up playing this on the familly computer . Absolutely love it
I played it in software mode
I always just loved crashing and jumping the cockpit between tonka construction sessions

I only played a demo of this game in a Hershey/Reese's Family Sampler disc when I was a child of 5 or 6 (I can't remember exactly, but the CD says '98, so...) and I could never get the game to work on my mom's hand-me-down Compaq Windows 98... but seeing your video brought a wave of nostalgia to me to find all the games in that disc and play them!

I remember playing this game as a kid, and I just liked crashing and watching wheels come off like it was Midtown Madness.

Problem is, if a wheel gets off-track the vehicle is very hard to control. But to see exactly where "off-track" begins you need to disable some track textures with the number keys! Try it, it will improve your skills!

I remember the track builder was so cool. You could do so much set up to the vehicles to. To bad they don’t take it and remaster it. Such a good games. Physics are a bit funky but hands down epic. Only game sorta like it now is wreckfest.

Played it on my Pentium100 in 1997
It was obvious that the game needed a steering wheel and pedals.
