Along with Top Gear, my favourite racing game of my childhood. 😊
Wow how did you run it on Windows 10?
Hi, first put the d3drm dll in the game installation folder (you can find it in the directx folder on the cd-rom), then also put the ddrawcompat wrapper in the game folder, and the game should work fine (it also starts without the wrapper but the graphics are extremely glitchy). You might also want to limit the frame rate, otherwise it runs too fast. Hope this helps.
I do not remember this game at all on PC, I only saw it on N64 I think.
It was a Japan-only release
@@dmitrisafonov6976 The third, fourth and fifth Power Dunkers / in the Zone were released on the N64 (and PS1); this is the rather obscure PC port of the first entry in the series (originally released for the PS1 in '95).
Back in 1993 this game was the ultimate shit. There was probably no schoolyard where the name Rebel Assault was not mentioned.
Some WipEout devs listed in the credits
how is the first ive ever heard of this?!? looks awesome
The new Screamer game brought me here.
AND A REBOOT WAS JUST ANNOUNCED 🤯
Totally unexpected! It looks like something different than usual, can't wait to see more.
So in this version, you actually do make it to Kilrah and they actually do let you battle for a bit before the Behemoth actually bites the dust. Now that definitely comes together better than the PC version I had always played. I will say I still think a larger Confed fleet should be present. The Victory and its three escorts are hardly enough for such a huge task as covering for the Behemoth.
Yep, for the so-called last ditch effort to win the war I would have deployed at least the entire Vega sector fleet! :D
@reloaded_ I wish we had seen that, that'd have been cool to see. We only got a brief glimpse of that armada before the Kilrah levels. In a cutscene.
0:14 wow, it's like a rollercoaster
Had this game growing up, fun times
What's with that Spanish goalie, leaving the posts to chase opponent players outside the box?! Starting to comprehend why this game is universally panned. 😅
It plays like those FIFA games for the genesis, only for the pc the movement feels very floaty. Still, I'm sure if i had the pc to run this game back in the day, I'll very much play this game a lot.
Will this run on windows 11 ok? And which site did u get it off?
I still have the original CD. I haven't tried installing it on a Windows 11 PC yet (only played successfully on 7 and 10 so far), but I'd say give it a try anyway (try using DxWnd if it doesn't start).
So this is like Rogue, vbut indiana jones and real time, very cool.
How to play this game now?
🎞️🎥🎬🖥️🎮🏁🏍️👍👍👍👍
the heck, I dont know there's a cheat on this game
Great graphics for the time
Looks like a clone of Motorcross Maddness. Not too bad but not anything special either.
I think they tried for a realistic approach here (they even collaborated with a motocross champion and a team), there are no stunts, and in championship mode there's a budget to manage and you can tweak several settings of the bike. Graphically it's quite good (I have a soft spot for lens flares 😂), but the handling of the bike is quite sensitive and it is easy to lose control and fall, so it takes a bit of practice. There's not much other info about it (can't even find a review), and in the end it has been completely forgotten (probably It was also completely overshadowed by Motocross Madness at the time of release).
ya hoser!
amazing to think i still have this orange CD 26 years later.
Not bad for 1998
I think this was the best golf game on Dos.
could have looked better in 640x200... but yeah, would be a bit heavy to handle for a 286.
WOOW THAT HORSE IS FAST!!!
By the creators of Burnout.
Hi! Can you tell please how did you limit the FPS? Because my game runs to fast, and its really hard to play like that
Hi, try RivaTuner. Otherwise there's an option to limit fps in both dgvoodoo or ddrawcompat (also, you could try with the built-in limiter in your gpu drivers).
@@reloaded_ Thanks! Rivetuner worked :D
Cool art, terrible gameplay
When this game released I bought it and it ran at 1fps per second on my PC lol
Fatal Racing and Screamer both came out around the same time. Screamer had better music and graphics. I liked FR more because of the stunts, jumps and flips. I only ever played the freeware / shareware versions of each that came with PC Magazine and my dx2/66 couldn't really run either game that well, but I still put in hundreds of hours with both games! Good times... I'll be 47 next month.
That's how it actually works behind the scene.😅 btw: There haven't been any "blue states" and "red states" back then. The incumbent candidate got asigned the color red and the challenger got blue, respectively.
You should have put in 2024 statistics to see how accurate it would be
It could have been an idea... but I hadn't played it in ages, and didn't remember very well how it worked, so I went with this quick fantasy scenario, without thinking too much about it. It was basically a blind run.
Someone need to hack this for 2024 😅
Couldn't play doom back then so I settled for this, it's awesome

Devil May Cry 3 Dante's AwaKening Epic PinBall THE COMPLETE COLLECTION Deep Sea
sick
nice but seems too amateurish to become a full commercial product, maybe a shareware low cost game though
From what you can read in the readme files the intention was to release it as shareware, but the project was abandoned. Later they resumed it and had it published by a video game magazine.
This is awesome. I love the way everything looks.
Screamer
looks like a ubisoft AAAA game
good memories
Kurosawa's theme is my favorite
I like Yoko's one too
Driver of the day
To this day I remember the missions you had to do for Oxford University. I failed so often... And always the same "Thats not the way you earn the trust of Oxford University" (or something like that). Oh boy...
If I remember correctly, in Oxford most of these were escort/defense missions... the worst ones :D
Which version was best?? SEGA CD or FM-TOWN?
Even though the game is fully voiced on the Sega CD, the FM-Towns port still wins, since it is basically the PC version but with CD-Audio music.
The music in this game was ahead of its time
Hey there! Is it okay if I use this footage for a retrospective? I'll credit your channel and include a link
Yep, no problem, be my guest
I would love to find the midi files for this game.
this game badly needs a proper draw distance
