I've cut off the edges to all my diamond paintings when I mounted them on picture frames. It works like a charm! You convinced me to diamond paint...it's a nice break from stitching.
Great job, it does look so pretty in that frame. I recently framed a bigger DP piece and was so scared when I had to cut all the way to the edge of the diamonds! 😱 But it seemed to work out ok.
Looks very nice. I framed a bigger diamond painting and used fray check to keep the fabric from fraying at the sides. My question to you is, how do you know what size custom frame to get? Do you just get it by the dimensions of the design area?
Just another way to do the backing paper you put tape or white glue on back put paper on do the same type of trim you did. Know for a change wait for glue to dry then using a cardboard nail file sand paper off just hold it at an angle. Then very lightly mist your paper with water and it will dry and become very smooth.
Just a couple quick questions that I'm not sure if you have answered in another video or not. First, I have a painting that I am doing from Huacan, and the diamonds seem to be popping off. It almost acts like I'm putting them too close together, but I'm placing them in the squares where they belong. Have you ever noticed the diamonds popping off before you even get done with the painting? Second, the one I'm doing right now is kind of special. It's a custom of my cousin's wedding picture. I don't want to take the chance of not putting it under glass. I can't remember if you've said acrylic or glass is the best option. Anyway, Thanks for a great video! Framing is definitely one of the things I shy away from! I'm so nervous about cutting things wrong and wrecking the whole thing! LOL.

I haven’t framed any of my diamond paintings yet. Where do you get the mounting board?
The place I ordered the frame from, it came with it.
Great Job!
Danielle, thanks for the framing video. Where did you find your tool? Kim
I think I bought it from American frame.
@@Stitcherista thanks, I think I need one. Enjoy your Labor Day!
Did I miss the link to the paper cutter used on the framing of the orange flowers, used to cut the backing paper ?
I bought it from American frame I think. I could not remember so that is why I didn't link it.

Where did you get the cutter from please? And it's Full Name please
I got it from American frame. I don't know the exact name of it. It is on American frame website under frame accessories.
Thanks Darl x
I used fabric glue on my canvas works great
Just a suggestion - when not using glass, seal the diamond painting before framing. This would prevent any drills from coming off.
I usually never seal my diamond paintings and have never had an issue.
What was the update 0n this? I want to hang mine wirh no glass. Is it still going strong or did they fall out?
Still going strong!!!
Do you have a link to the cutting tool?
Yes. If you check out my amazon page it is under the diamond painting tab.
Thanks! I must have scrolled to fast 😬

I have not had diamonds popping off before. I use acrylic only because it is the only thing the framing companies offer where I buy my frames online.
Where did you get the paper cutter? I love it...
If you look on my Amazon page I have it linked there.
