A Producer is similar to a Film Director as they oversee, Direct and Control the recording sessions. Beat Makers are Composer's, Producer's are director's.

I acutally have an 18 page legal binding Producer Agreement with a Record Company to prove you wrong as it Cleary states the Producer's engagement od services to produce and deliver a Master Recording embodying thr Artists performances to the Record label. Many Producer's don't even make beats such as *P-Diddy, Chris-Lord-Alge, Don Gilmore*... Beat Makers are similar Composer's as they are Songwriters of the Musical Composition. Why do you think they get Publishing? A Record Producer get Points on the Album known as Producer Royalties which for the Sound Recording. The Producer's royalties comes out of the Artist Recording Agreement pro-rated by the number of Masters on the Album. The Producer's primary objective is to see the whole thing creative direction of the finished record from A to Z.
