Everything you need to know to make your own faux stone planters from hypertufa (lightweight concrete) using a mixture of sand, portland cement, and peat moss. Try a variety of molds to create any style of container you want, or build garden sculptures with this amazing compound. You'll freaking love hypertufa! As always, "Anything I Can Do" Host Mag Ruffman makes the mistakes so you don't have to.

Mag, I too remember watching you back in the day. You were on PBS early Sunday mornings and I made sure I was up to watch. You always made me chuckle. I recognized you instantly and the workshop setting (barn). Subscribed and liked! Can't wait for more!

I feel guilty for laughing with you when it went wrong, but I liked your determination and how you saw it through to the end.

just found this randomly and at first sight wasn't sure if this was an old TV show or some really committed modern content going hard into the retro vibe. Honestly, I'd watch a craft youtuber with this aesthetic

Please, i dont understand, you said : 1 cement, 1 sand , 2 peat moss and in the video you mixed 1of each only. So the question is : what is the right ? What you said or what you did ? Thank you

Sorry for the confusion! Here are several basic recipes that work well:
      Basic mixtures:
(Mix thoroughly and let it sit for ten minutes)
The Classic - 1 part Portland cement, 1 part sand, 2 parts peat moss
The Smoothie - 1 part Portland cement, 1.5 parts sand, 1.5 parts peat moss
The Lightweight - 1 part Portland cement, 1 part peat moss, 1 part perlite, 1 part fibermesh (little pieces of fiberglass to add strength)
The Sparkly - 1 part Portland cement, 1 part peat moss, 1 part vermiculite
