    This is when things start go wrong. Lane drew his gun too soon. Floyd was scared because of the gun. He was panicking. When they had Floyd suiting handcuffed on the sidewalk against the wall, this would have been the time to calm by explaining why they may be taking him to custody. This was all preventable. You can’t arrest a person without telling them why. It gives the person in custody a way of opening the discussion into why he had a counterfeit bill. I wouldn’t investigate money I got from a acquaintance without checking if it was real. Most of us get scammed every day.

    • @povertylevelphilanthropy1524
      @povertylevelphilanthropy1524 3 роки тому

      You don’t have to go to school to spot fake money, or to use one of the pens that marks them. It was a counterfeit. That isn’t in question. The clerk had every right to do what he did. What if you were selling something, personally, and someone tried to pay you with worthless money?? If they succeed, they’ve stolen whatever it is you’ve sold them, plus any change you give them back. George Floyd may not have even known it was counterfeit, it could have been given to him as change at another store. It’s highly unlikely, but possible. George Floyd did NOT deserve the treatment he received from law enforcement. The way the police are trained, and the way they interact with people needs to change, HAS TO change. He DID,
      however, commit a crime. A petty crime, this time, but a crime nonetheless. Let’s not forget that part because it makes the story sound better. Not all stories have a hero and a villain, not in real life.

  • @noellewest4347
    @noellewest4347 Рік тому

    "People quick to count you out but just so strict on counting you in..." This goes so far beyond his skin colour and socioeconomic status. I've wondered for several years if George Floyd may have grown up like my brother and me, with undiagnosed and unsupported ADHD and/or autism. Or, perhaps he had another form of neurodiversity in school that really began to manifest when he tried higher education and then could not cope with the demands. This is so typical for adults with undetected and undiagnosed dyslexia, dyscalculia, and/or nonverbal learning disorders when they attempt to enter college/university.
    When I saw him sitting on the sidewalk crying while the police demanded to see his ID, I started to cry. I would have behaved exactly like him in a situation like this. And, I cannot stand touch, so if an officer approached me with the intention to make physical contact, I would have become intuitively aggressive. The difference is, I'm female (privileged), white (privileged), and "educated" (privileged). The police could google me and find the universities that I am affiliated with. Women like me, disabled or not, will always have an advantage over men like George Floyd in situations like this.
    I've got neurodiverse, male students who are big and imposing to look at who I worry about constantly in the States. Due to police ignorance and their justifiable fear of the public they're tasked to protect, justifiable given that country's ridiculous obsession with guns, it is very unsafe for my students to have any sort of encounter with American police:(

    Only at part 1 ♥ 😢. Not being in the 🇺🇸, I was getting real obsessed on a trial in way I've not, on a trial here in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇬🇧. I realised the reason was a good thing. We were watching & 🙏 for sum thin worldwide, 4 the right verdict. And can see that day will in the future be an important day in history. Should b a turning point, even with the incidents that were still happening, I think overall esp wen we get 2 sentence, Theresa gonna be major changes. The last cpl of yrs I'm ashamed really 2 say, I knew racism existed in 🇺🇸 & 🇬🇧, esp within 🚨. But hadn't realised on such a scale that's unimaginable. For the 1st time I kinda felt in a way ashamed off my own race. Even though I'm the opposite from Chauvin ect. I know this is a fight African Americans have had for years. I hope that even though we should have b4 now. That other white people are condemning the treatment off usually black makes, in 🇺🇸 & 🇬🇧. I hope (this takes nothing away from the fact uv been fighting 4 yrs & we've just kinda stepped in2 it). But I hope that soc media I think tbh played a big part in wot we are now able 2 see wots really goin down. And I hope in sum way comin in2 #blm now & being white & standing along side helps.

    😅😂🤣 "1. Why does one photo from behind show the man on the road is not handcuffed and the video from the front that he is handcuffed? 2 different people
    2. Why is the cop car in the restaurant surveillance video different than the one Floyd was lying behind (different car numbers)? 2 different cars
    3. Why were the cops in the surveillance footage that arrested him different than the police in the actual incident? 2 incidents
    4. Why does the video show the diesel fuel price as 99 cents instead of the regular price in the area of $2.49? 2 different times, one a long time ago
    5. Why does the Police Car have a non-Municipal license plate with “Police” on it? 2 cars
    6. Why does Derek have a completely different police badge on top of a second police badge matching his partner’s if they work for the same precinct? Derek is a hired mercenary
    7. Why is it not odd that both Officers Tou Thao and Derek Chauvin have both previously been investigated for excessive use of force and not charged by State AG Amy Klobuchar? Because they hired him
    Additionally, Officer Derek Chauvin is married to his partner’s sister Kelli.
    8. Is there any cop dumb enough to continue kneeling on someone’s neck for 8 minutes when surrounded by people and being video recorded? On purpose
    9. Is it possible for the deceased’s cousins and fiancé to be completely tearless during interviews? Not real. Crisis Actors
    10. Why does the main cop have one hand in his pocket most of the time he’s kneeling? Remote?
    11. Why did the kneeling officer appear completely cool and calm, as if he was posing for the camera? He was
    12. Doesn’t it seem strange that Floyd and the officer that kneeled on his neck worked security together on the same shift at the El Nuevo Rodeo Club, the officer for 17 years (both were laid off because of the Covid Virus)? No coincidence
    13. Why do the neighbors of this officer say they didn’t know he was a cop and never saw him in uniform? Because he wasn’t
    14. Why has the same attorney been hired as with all the other big supposed police killings of blacks? Attorney Benjamin Crump. The same attorney that worked on previous cases that resulted in busses bringing in rioters from outside the city? Set up
    15. Why does store surveillance video show Floyd calmly and submissively walking with the officer and not resisting arrest while the officer gently allowed him to sit down on the side walk, and multiple officers calmly chatting with him? Is this the kind of suspect that a police officer would feel the need to put on the ground and place his knee on his neck? They were getting ready for show.
    16. Why did the EMT workers (wearing Police Uniforms including bullet proof vests) roughly handle and dump the unconscious George on the stretcher? This is not how trained emergency workers lift a person with a possible neck injury. Why did they not attempt triage or try CPR? He didn’t need it and was alive and fine.
    17. Can someone really not breathe when someone kneels on his neck and is the victim really able to speak for considerable periods of time if he can’t breathe? Bingo
    18. Post killing: Why is a white man that looks like an undercover (St Paul) cop in black and a riot gear mask carrying a black umbrella walking around breaking windows (and others dressed similarly starting fires) and instigating a riot? Is this reminiscent of “umbrella man” during the JFK shooting? Because he was police Jacob Pedersen
    19. Why were almost all the rioters leading the destruction of the neighborhood at the beginning of the riots “white” and not from Minneapolis… in a black neighborhood after the police killed a black man? Agent Provacateurs
    20. Why did the Chief of Police make it a point that those Inciting the Riots and Arsonists were not from Minnesota? Because they wete hired by Soros and not from MN
    21. Why was a CNN News Crew not only detained but also Arrested? In case they trief to really report news!
    What did I miss? Antifa took over Black Lives Matter

    No matter his past crimes he did not deserve to lose his life on this day! I keep hearing about his past crimes, his drug use & I am sick of it because the issue this day was he did not do anything to lose his life for a $20.00 bill, he probably knew it was fake or maybe he had just ingested the drugs & was unable to comply with the store manager at that moment? Still no reason to die by cops knee in the neck, he was terrified because he probably had that feeling he was in serious trouble not sure exactly what but some people can feel or sense when something huge is about to happen, we don't know why or understand how but he just felt it & was terrified, he begged for air & they never gave in by treating him like a human being, he was there so long he even urinated on the pavement in this video! The police got what they deserved but yet still get to live while this man lost his life, they will see there families again even if it is in prison, George will not at least not in human form. I hope this wakes up people throughout the world that this will not be tolerated! When you watch Derik (cop) in the video it is as if you can see right through his soul, his eyes are just empty, there was nothing there that day? When you watch him in court there is still nothing there in my opinion, I believe he thought he was actually going to beat this, American people have shown him different that we will no longer allow this to happen, I know we all have done things in our past at some point, things we should not have done but these comments below SMDH about Floyd holding a pregnant woman by gun? One has nothing to do with the other does it? Lets remember George for the good things he has done in his life, the good things he fought so hard to accomplish & remember drugs influenced the bad as it has so many of us struggling today, he did not deserve to be punished for those 9 minutes 29 seconds because of his mistakes in his life, I am not saying make him into an angle but he did not deserve this either as if it was his destiny because of his past mistakes...Let him be in PEACE & his FAMILY...
