Why didn't they just tell him he had, perhaps unknowingly, passed a counterfeit bill? How likely is it that he'd have hung around outside the store if he was aware of it?

    • @Paula_Shelton

Exactly. They could’ve written him a ticket for it. The whole thing was excessive force from beginning to end.

Who says he knew the bill he passed was counterfeit? Right? I see a man who was sick of being harassed by the police for breathing. Chauvin decided he could be Georges judge jury and executioner because his department allowed brutality against black citizens. This is a systematic problem. Putting one cop in prison won’t end it.

They DID tell him. The store employees testified that the manager asked Floyd to come back inside TWICE to resolve the issue and only called the police after he refused to comply. One of the employees even offered to pay for the cigarettes himself but Floyd didn't want to do that either.

I get that Chauvin was a whole different person when he was on duty. Out of uniform he strikes me as an awkward person. In uniform he became an authoritative uncompromising figure with an attitude that demands respect. In my experience that never ends well. Lose the attitude and you get far more respect.

*Mr. Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter: this is an extreme obstruction of justice on the part of the DA because in one death you can not have three different murder charges. You can only have : second-degree murder or third-degree murder or second-degree manslaughter but never ever all at the same time. This case will be reversed by the Appeal court. The black people pressure made the judge, the jury cave in to their demands and this is extremely absurd. Between 1997 and 2005, George Floyd was convicted of eight crimes. He served four years in prison after accepting a plea bargain for a 2007 very brutal aggravated arms robbery in a home invasion against a helpless woman in her own home* .

Nobody should be above the law just like how no race is superior to another. And our country does have a issue with all those topics. And it’s not about no unity it’s about getting equal treatment from law enforcement and the justice system for everyone. Like I said I repeat it a 3rd time for you since you aren’t comprehending... ppl who tend to not be from the inner city have a misconception that we are all criminals and that’s the problem. Some of us are law bidding citizens who pay out taxes just like everyone else and are just trying to make a decent living like everyone else but get lumped in the same stereotypes you just mentioned for racial issues from delusional fools like you. At the end of the day we are all the same type of conscious life forms in different colored bags of meat, but some bags of meat think they are better than other bags of meat for whatever reason and that is the problem. That’s the simplest way I can word it for you.

@Disguised Dv8ant it’s not that I ignored what you type, of course thief’s and rapist deserve whatever they get coming to them. But you seem to assume that every place where minorities reside are bad. I live in Dallas in a nice neighborhood but what I’m saying is it don’t matter where you live, if you are a minority you get treated unfairly in most cases whether you are right or wrong and until you put yourself in other ppls shoes and look at the bigger picture other than your own privileged existence than you would understand that. Instead of bashing less fortunate ppl you should instead count your lucky stars you weren’t born a North Korean for example making 3 cents a day working in a coal mine or something. You are where you are due to circumstances and nothing else. So humble yourself and work on being a better human being instead of bashing and criticizing so much.

There was a tribute of sorts on 2020 the other night about George. Every time I watch the videos of Chauvin with his knee on George's neck I get depressed and upset. Its like watching him die over and over. This was the most upsetting thing I have ever had to watch. I cry for him every time I see it. This better be a huge wake up call going forward. This has to stop or people all around the world will continue take it into their own hands and more riots will ensue and more police stations will be burnt down. Enough is enough. You should be valued no matter what color you are.

I hope we all learn A lesson with this tragic event of how precious and fragile our lives are and every decision we make from the time we wake up till we fall back asleep will have a profound effect not only on our lives, but others lives as well, regardless of how trivial some of these decisions might seem at the time, so considering where the path might lead with each option we come up with...might b a smart idea. 3. Why were the cops in the surveillance footage that arrested him different than the police in the actual incident? 2 incidents
    4. Why does the video show the diesel fuel price as 99 cents instead of the regular price in the area of $2.49? 2 different times, one a long time ago
    5. Why does the Police Car have a non-Municipal license plate with “Police” on it? 2 cars
    6. Why does Derek have a completely different police badge on top of a second police badge matching his partner’s if they work for the same precinct? Derek is a hired mercenary
    7. Why is it not odd that both Officers Tou Thao and Derek Chauvin have both previously been investigated for excessive use of force and not charged by State AG Amy Klobuchar? Because they hired him
Additionally, Officer Derek Chauvin is married to his partner’s sister Kelli.
    8. Is there any cop dumb enough to continue kneeling on someone’s neck for 8 minutes when surrounded by people and being video recorded? On purpose
    9. Is it possible for the deceased’s cousins and fiancé to be completely tearless during interviews? Not real. Crisis Actors
    10. Why does the main cop have one hand in his pocket most of the time he’s kneeling? Remote?
    11. Why did the kneeling officer appear completely cool and calm, as if he was posing for the camera? He was
    12. Doesn’t it seem strange that Floyd and the officer that kneeled on his neck worked security together on the same shift at the El Nuevo Rodeo Club, the officer for 17 years (both were laid off because of the Covid Virus)? No coincidence
    13. Why do the neighbors of this officer say they didn’t know he was a cop and never saw him in uniform? Because he wasn’t
    14. Why has the same attorney been hired as with all the other big supposed police killings of blacks? Attorney Benjamin Crump. The same attorney that worked on previous cases that resulted in busses bringing in rioters from outside the city? Set up
    15. Why does store surveillance video show Floyd calmly and submissively walking with the officer and not resisting arrest while the officer gently allowed him to sit down on the side walk, and multiple officers calmly chatting with him? Is this the kind of suspect that a police officer would feel the need to put on the ground and place his knee on his neck? They were getting ready for show.
    16. Why did the EMT workers (wearing Police Uniforms including bullet proof vests) roughly handle and dump the unconscious George on the stretcher? This is not how trained emergency workers lift a person with a possible neck injury. Why did they not attempt triage or try CPR? He didn’t need it and was alive and fine.
    17. Can someone really not breathe when someone kneels on his neck and is the victim really able to speak for considerable periods of time if he can’t breathe? Bingo
    18. Post killing: Why is a white man that looks like an undercover (St Paul) cop in black and a riot gear mask carrying a black umbrella walking around breaking windows (and others dressed similarly starting fires) and instigating a riot? Is this reminiscent of “umbrella man” during the JFK shooting? Because he was police Jacob Pedersen
    19. Why were almost all the rioters leading the destruction of the neighborhood at the beginning of the riots “white” and not from Minneapolis… in a black neighborhood after the police killed a black man? Agent Provacateurs
    20. Why did the Chief of Police make it a point that those Inciting the Riots and Arsonists were not from Minnesota? Because they wete hired by Soros and not from MN

The more I try to understand this GF's murder case the more it gets complicated. GF should have cooperated with the officers during his arrest instead of resisting them. But at the same time another question comes to my mind that would officers treated him (GF) in this ☝️ way if he was a white man like them. The way Chauvin kept his knee at the back portion of Floyd's neck could be used by other officers (Kueng, Lane) also before he (Chauvin) came to the spot when they get training for this. Chauvin keeping his left knee at Floyd's neck back portion & pressuring it as well makes him villain in this whole case & other officers as well who were present at the spot during this incident for cooperating Chauvin instead of stopping him from doing so.

Yes because police never pull black people for no reason. I watched one yesterday when someone gave a false name, he was pulled over at gun point made to get out of his car and they searched his car without consent. Clearly you only see things in rose colored glasses, when things aren't like that at all. Officers are trained to treat black people with more show of force, hense systemic racism is being forced into the minds of new officers. Which is why Tao didn't tell them to get off floyd or check his Pulse or notice that he wasn't moving anymore, he just didn't care because it was a black person under the training officer.

Apparently, you haven't been hurt constantly with your body --- it is not you want to resist; it is your body wants to adjust to a relative comfortable position to avoid more pain; --- most of time at these situation, your own mind/brain can't even give the order to your own body!
