I have no idea how these drivers do this, keeping track of where+how to keep your vehicle on course and moving forward with such terrain... and for 30+ hours!!! The Baja 1000 is undoubtedly up there with the most prestigious motor-racing events to ever exist
These races are amazing, and I have to say how grateful I am that you let the sounds and video speak for itself. You shared just right... and the ending was perfect! Bravo!!
Top gear did a great piece on the DR and have to imagine every bronco owner is so jealous that they put the coyote in there 😂 For anyone who hasn’t seen BAJA or any SCORE events, there are some great movies that showcase the peninsula at its finest. The movies “Dust to glory” and “Dust 2 glory” by Dana Brown are a great way to understand why some of us love this event so much and shows really how this is truly one of the toughest races on the planet
That was unexpected but really cool! I wasn't very familiar with this race beyond its name, didn't know it was a constant run without stages! Will definitely look up more about this race and that Bronco, what an awesome car! I really recommend following the Dakar Rally in January, it kicks off the racing season and it's absolutely bonkers. It brings a whole new meaning to multiclass endurance racing, with bikes, cars, trucks and everything in between racing through the desert. Just making it to the end is a victory in itself yet it's still very competitive at the front.
Glad you enjoyed and learned a bit about BAJA. Its funny, being from California I'm much more familiar with BAJA race than Dakar. But I'd bet for most of the world the opposite is true. I'll have to tune in next year.
That stock class bug at the start that just plopped himself in the ruts to let the bronco by was too funny. those things are such wild ride tho, respect to anyone getting into those things. Also check out blake wilkey and his team,i watched them race for like a few hours one day live.
yeah Baja 1000 is very tough already but massive respect to the buggy and motorcycle drivers, especially the latter since they're literally alone with a massive fuel tank in their bike
I would not say the best race on earth. These racers all get to prerun the race course for days before the actual race. Not even close to comparison , to have the whole track preprogrammed in a map, and mark the corners, soft spots, hills, and high speed opertunities. It is a cool race to test man and machine no doubts there. The technology in a full on Trophy truck is darn impressive. To ride the Baja 1000 on a bike would be epic. Well done by all who were able to race.. Have fun faster is smoother
I see grooves... but I see no slicks. I feel lied to.
True
😅
Didn’t disappoint. I would love to see you cover more disciplines of Motorsport!
I’ll add that pikes peak would be sweet
I love the siren to tell people to let them by lol

Thank you so much and glad you enjoyed! I really appreciate it man. I know, for me this race is super under-rated.
They prerun several times the race course and take notes
Awesome to see you cover more motorsport disciplines!

Grooved Slick could do a video on Mario Kart DS and I'll still tune in
😂😂😂
FUN FACT!! I was in the 1617 buggy as a co driver during when he passed us. Tried to move over and such to let him by but it’s tough sometimes.
That was the moment of the race for me. Just crazy to see the 3 wide moment while you passed the other buggy. Seriously impressive stuff 💪
Sweet! Had a great time racing with you, that was some fun! I was co driver in the Bronco.
You keep introducing me to new sports I was never into. Thanks bro, much love from Zambia
I'm so glad to hear! Thank you for your support, much love from the USA
And to think some guys do these on bike and quads. Insane.
Trophy trucks destroy the course for small cars
Just wanna say, you got to the point that whatever you post I'll watch the entire video. Keep up the awesome content!
I feel like all the bigger score races would be a great addition to your channel! Hope to see more videos like this in the future.

@AndrewYac yeah I never consider the bikers enough, they go through even more then stock class entry’s.
Baja Bugs were the biggest revelation to me. Mad respect for anyone that races them. I'll be sure to check that out too!
@@GroovedSlick legit,I heard stories from a few ppl and they said it’s common to vomit in those things lol.
