- My thoughts on the newest release from the house of Initio, Atomic Rose. This fragrance is 100% unisex and is a nice offering it just lacks uniqueness, imo.

100%. Agree that it smells very similar to Delina. I have Delina and smelled Atomic Rose in Nieman Marcus that was the first thing that come to mind.
I'm not surprised it shares similarities to a Parfums de Marly Delina. They are sister houses after all... Or should I say husband and wife! Great review Eva!

Thanks for the straight up honesty. I've been disappointed with alot of niche releases for this reason, just poor copies with no attempt to bring something new to the table. Out of curiosity, I will still sample this and Delina too at the same time.

Hihi ja, Atomic Rose is really similar to Delina, but for me it is definitely worth it having both, im a huge rose lover in fragrances it's my favourite flower, and im always on the search for a new well done, beautyfull and of course very well performing rose (i doenst mind that this one is pretty linear)... Delina im absolutely obsessed with and it's one of my signature fragrances during the spring-summer daytime, but sometimes i want a more seductive, edgy and definitely way more unisex version of Delina, if you wanna say it like that, and Atomic Rose by Initio is just a really sexy rose fragrance, and that i doenst experienced that often, mostly they are very feminin and soft, or like Delina also very feminin and playful with a juicy rose, or often something like Rose's Musc by Montale, but this beautyfull sweet and dry roses, supported with the prominent vanilla, the jasmin wich isn't a dirty smelling jamsin in my eyes at least plus, it layers beautifully on top of Delina and Delina i always layer with the cream and mostly also the hair mist, and also on top of this Delina adds, it layers really, really well, it never would replace Delina for me, but Delina also wouldn't replace Atomic Rose, what Atomic Rose replaces for me is Delina Exclusif, this one i definitely will not repurchase.... Shortly (;) Its just one of the most seductive rose fragrance i own and know (maybe it's the "pheromone" hedione they used in this fragrance/line with an amount of 50% hedion;) without Oud, musc, etc; and if you are such a rose lover like im, than i think it's for shure worth it and different enough from the character... Anyways, blablabla, im sorry if you really read that, cant stop myself when it comes to fragrances and texting, and texting - with no end although my english is on a veeery low lvl, obviously🤦♀️✌😘 But if you reading it till to this point, thank you, i appreciate that and wishing you an amazing day!:;) Great review, as always, our beauty:) glG from the tiny austria, katharina :*

Oh man, i got such a nice deal with Atomic Rose, my Delina is almost empty (and i adore Delina a lot:), and i dont wanted to buy another Delina and trying Atomic Rose at first before i rebuy Delina, so i bought Atomic Rose for around 120 Dollars (140 Euros), with such an amazing offer i just had to take it in my mind, in the next 1 or 2 days i should get it, but im more and more skeptic about this choice and bought an decand yesterday on Parfumo (it's like Fragrantica but just way more personal, the comunity is very close and kind, generous and just the best community ever:), so i will wait till i get my decand of it before i open my full bottle the i get tomorrow or over tomorrow, so you are very right always testing niche fragrances at first (and also designer ones contains on the budget, but i always enjoyed blind buying designer fragrances;), and there are so amazing options out there and also on Fragrantica you can buy so many amazing niche fragrance decands, testers, etc; just the best way testing fragrances and it was my last lesson with Atomic Rose now, never will buy again before testing at first, just not necessary even not, if you're living anywhere, where you cant go into a store and give every wanted niche fragrance a sniff...:;)

And yes I agree when I got this , like I admit it is a nice scent but I felt really underwhelmed by it and that’s why I end up giving mines away. it wasn’t a wow-factor or catching for me , I definitely got the delina vibes ( which I’m not a fan of delina either ) so smelling that on me I was like ehhh..not for me lol.

Uff, I enjoy the Delina Family, Hazy Rose from Ramon Monegal, Radical Rose from Matiere Premiere, Roses Vanille by Mancera, Paris YSL since 1983, Cabotine Rose from Gres, Florabotanica from Balenciaga, etc... The pink pepper, the citric, the natural rose, and the lambent presence of that exquisite vanilla in Atomic Rose are unique to what I have had the pleasure to feel and smell in rose perfumery. I know I have a long journey before me. Looking gorgeous.
Atomic Rose: always reminds me of makeup like chalky lipstick smear in the heart notes, and final dry down dark chocolate (I swore choc-patchouli was in the base). Maybe it's just my skin. Nobody else gets rose essential oil for diffusers, makeup note, and hours later Godiva or Valetine's Day?
I bought a sample and am happy I didn’t get a full bottle. It smells very masculine to me.

To me - on my skin at least - Atomic Rose smells nothing like Delina. It smells like roses ONLY when you sniff the bottle, but when I sprayed it on, all I could smell was cedar or pine needles or something like that. It's the oddest thing. It's very unisex. It is certainly interesting and sophisticated, but IMO nothing like Delina.
Agree, it is too rose heavey compared with delina
Smelt it on a sample and bought a bottle immediately or a price under retail but one I'm not proud of.

Initio rose atomic smells exactly like Delina.
Atomic Rose though smells the way Layered is described : it dries down with more pepper/ could be vetiver - and Delina has more sharpness but they’re so close!

I think it is a very good fragrance but it stays too long on the skin. It is a very strong scent! Very unisex.

Girl...unless you're not paying retail or buying small sizes, how are you managing to have some of the ones I see in your room and max at $400?! Gone are the days when you can buy something that "will make you cry" for less than $400. Even Delina, which I bought for $290 and mid the 300s for the exclusif version, after tax, you're at the cap. Perfumers have no qualms charging hefty prices for fragrances, even ones that poorly perform. We live in the something for nothing age. That said, doing some research before blind buying this one.
But how can you even compare it first to Roses Vanille and then to Delina? I understand you find it more like Delina, but to even mention Roses Vanille is so strange since Roses Vanille and Delina are COMPLETELY different scents! I don’t get it. How can the same perfume be compared to two fragrances that are such opposites? Delina is a bright, tart rose fragrance with tons of litchi, rhubarb, musk, and vetiver. Roses Vanille is this extremely sweet, synthetic vanilla-musk (rose? Where?) with a smell from burning tires… How can this be? Anyway, am yet ti smell Atomic Rose.
If you have to choose between delina and atomic rose, which one would you repurchase?

Apart from fragrances, I think you can also carve a niche on good grooming for young and middle aged women... men are tired of those claws in the name of nails and Halloween looks as MAKEUP...
I don’t like this one, there is very lil rose on my skin. It’s weak and nothing special . It’s just nice. It’s no Delina

For me smells Like : oud satin mood
I feel the same but Oud Satin Mood is more of a winter version of it.
