Hey Eva, this is 74 years young (had a birthday since the last time I texted you)! OMG, I am sooo proud of you, and sooo excited and happy to see you embark on this amazing part of your journey! I sew as well, started 60 years ago in junior high school. Let me say that your garments are absolutely beautiful and look so well made. You are correct by saying that fabric is everything!! Your fabrics are gorgeous, and only women of a certain class will be able to afford your clothes!! You are starting off right!! Folks that don’t sew, don’t understand the time and effort that it takes to make a garment. Gauge yourself, but the minimum price should be at least 2 1/2 times what the fabric cost!! Another thing is that your clothes are “custom and tailored “, no two are exactly alike, that’s awesome!! For those who want to complain, let them go buy retail off the rack like they have been! You go Girl, get your money! Love ya!❤️❤️❤️

What are you talking about? She worked for her abilities and learned this skill. She wasn't GIFTED this. She worked hard for it. That has nothing to do with her age, her race, or talents god gave her. She could have buried her talents in the dirt.
@AD-wm9if no matter how hard she worked to reach her success, God enabled her with his gifting to accomplish it! Everyone should know that each of us has to take the first steps to be successful with what God provides!

You are so right. Congrats. Choose your market. They will see and appreciate the value, and not want to wear what a bunch of others have. You have to educate yourself about the techniques and methods, and in a business, you must write down your ideas, plans and designs. You make it real by writing it down or drawing it , otherwise it disappears and/or is still an idea. You are in Stage 1 of your business. As you grow and get customers, you have to plan the next stage which will be some sort of expansion. You have the right idea. Just think that 20 years ago, we had custom made clothes from our seamstress, and now we buy crap. We are ready to go back.
You have mastered so many elements of sewing in a very short amount of time. Keep up the great work. You have an incredible eye!

So glad to see your upload! You actually inspired me to explore sewing. In my 20s my grandfather found me an old Kenmore sewing machine but I let it collect dust and my granny gave it away. In December, I got my brother to buy me and new sewing machine because I truly want to learn as a hobby. I'm confident you well doing amazingly well.

Can you share some of the people you enjoy watching to learn how to sew? I have all these designs drawn and I have had 2 people I tried to explain my vision to, and it wasn't what I wanted. So long story short, I HAVE TO LEARN TO SEW, my ancestors won’t stop until this line of clothes is out of my head! Thanks so much for sharing. I like the short sets and like you said the lining gives the garment that extra edgy effect. You are doing great. Keep up the good work. Good points you were making, have your ideas written down, know your fabric and how you to clean it. What is your label inside your garments? Do we just look up your name? Your work is beautiful. Kudos on taking the leap to sell. As someone who has experience in sewing and custom design, your prices are much lower than I expected. It does take time to find your price sweet spot but I can tell you they are worth much more than you charge for that level of tailored pieces. Keep going because you will make a great name for yourself in this industry.
