My favorite Initio used to be Psychedelic Love, but now it’s Atomic Rose. Oh my goodness! It is a true rose explosion! So incredibly beautiful. I couldn’t justify the $$$ since I already have Delina and they’re very similar, but Atomic Rose is definitely on top of my wishlist!

I love High Frequency because of the almond note; Side Effect because of the Sweet booze vibe I get, Psychedelic Love has the same smell as Side Effect with a floral note. The purple bottles are my favorite which is why I’m interested in this new release. I watched the video review you had of Blessed Baraka which is why I started investing this house. It’s tie between them and Parfums de Marly. Not a fan of Oud for Greatness though. Just isn’t my cup of tea

I think one of my favourite aspects of getting interested in perfumery, is the ability to distinguish between different notes in the same family, like roses. I liked your fact about how Hedione triggers a sex differentiated response in human brain activity. I had a little read of the study, but it was a little over my head. For perfumers to analyse how the brain reacts, not just the nose, I think is really clever.

This fragrance has been on my radar since Sebastian reviewed it recently. I have not tried anything from the house but I keep reading nothing but good reviews about all of their fragrances. I really love Lyric, so hearing about this fragrance really peaked my interest. Today is my birthday so it would be fantastic to be able to win this. :)

I’ve only smelt a few Initio’s, sadly most places don’t have them, and they’re very expensive to blind buy, so would love to win the giveaway but I am most interested in smelling Blesses Baraka. Well I didn’t see where the link was to the other Initios but I went to their website through google. This rose one sounds the best to me. I grow roses and appreciate how different each can smell. Now they are dormant for winter, love the awesome rose perfumes. Thanks for linking the study.

Steven the name alone “Atomic Rose” is enough for me. I have been a fan of Rehab but Atomic Rose is a must buy!! I don’t “love” Delina i find it to be a bit “young” for me. However, I love rose - I hope to be at the Garden City event. My son and I are fans. Can’t wait for your fragrance!!!

Dude, your reviews are amazing!!! I bought Side Effects based on your review of Initio and I can not have more happy with it. The smell is simply gorgeous (however in my skin it has not this long longevity, but this happen with every fragrance). I am discovering more scents and would be great if I can try this one. When reviewing the Fragrantica entry for this fragrance, I thought it might be little too much on the feminine side, despite the fact that I do love rose fragrances. After watching your review, I was convinced that this is not the case. I trust your nose and it would be great to try this one. Absolute aphrodisiac is my favorite fragrance by initio prive, its has this stunning depth of character with dark ambery vanilla. I can almost taste it when i wear it and is one of the best bottles in my collection. My wife's favorite fragrance is delina exclusif, so to rock this new initio when we go out for a night on the town would be incredibly fitting.

I remeber a video you released in the past, talking about your wife's bottle of delina, and how she loved it. Then something about it geting stolen you purchasing the same bottle back! So remembering that story, when i was at Osme this beautiful apothecary in miami, i made it a point to show her delina, and she absolutely loved it, but when she put her nose on exclusif, it was over! She's been rocking it ever since, so in away, your indirectly connected to that special moment, funny how things like that manifest in the world.
I've found the house of Initio Parfums intriguing because of the reviews done by you Steven namely the ranking video. It made me go out and got my nose on the parfums I had access to. Now I have three of there fragrances in my collection. Side Effect, Oud for Greatness and Rehab I find Rehab to be more intoxicating to me. Got my nose on Atomic Rose and its a gem, would love to win and add it to my collection. Thanks again on your honest reviews on fragrances.

Lovely Review, Steven. Thank you. It’s funny that when I first tested Atomic Rose on my skin it reminded me of Delina. I have wanted to like Delina but I find something sharp in its composition. AR is so smooth and the dry down is so addictive. I would love to have this beauty. I really like Rehab as well. What an amazing house!

Initio Atomic Rose smells exactly like Delina. Atomic Rose though smells the way Layered is described : it dries down with more pepper/ could be vetiver - and Delina has more sharpness but they’re so close! I really like the vetiver I’m smelling with Atomic Rose :-)). I already purchased Delina but next will be Rose Atomic. Omg how do we get so obsessed with perfume???:))
Atomic Rose: always reminds me of makeup like chalky lipstick smear in the heart notes, and final dry down dark chocolate (I swore choc-patchouli was in the base). Maybe it's just my skin. Nobody else gets rose essential oil for diffusers, makeup note, and hours later Godiva or Valetine's Day? Reminds me of Dior Homme 2011 mothers purse with makeup and chocolate.
Atomic Rose, got me hooked and coming from you I am highly highly interested. Rose as a fragrance takes me back to my childhood hence it has special place in my heart. Tobacco being my fav note, i had to buy their side effect so it is my fav intio fragrance. I am in USA Sunny

When reviewing the Fragrantica entry for this fragrance, I thought it might be little too much on the feminine side, despite the fact that I do love rose fragrances. After watching your review, I was convinced that this is not the case. I trust your nose and it would be great to try this one. Absolute aphrodisiac is my favorite fragrance by initio prive, its has this stunning depth of character with dark ambery vanilla. I can almost taste it when i wear it and is one of the best bottles in my collection. My wife's favorite fragrance is delina exclusif, so to rock this new initio when we go out for a night on the town would be incredibly fitting.

I remeber a video you released in the past, talking about your wife's bottle of delina, and how she loved it. Then something about it geting stolen you purchasing the same bottle back! So remembering that story, when i was at Osme this beautiful apothecary in miami, i made it a point to show her delina, and she absolutely loved it, but when she put her nose on exclusif, it was over! She's been rocking it ever since, so in away, your indirectly connected to that special moment, funny how things like that manifest in the world.

I've found the house of Initio Parfums intriguing because of the reviews done by you Steven namely the ranking video. It made me go out and got my nose on the parfums I had access to. Now I have three of there fragrances in my collection. Side Effect, Oud for Greatness and Rehab I find Rehab to be more intoxicating to me. Got my nose on Atomic Rose and its a gem, would love to win and add it to my collection. Thanks again on your honest reviews on fragrances.

Lovely Review, Steven. Thank you. It’s funny that when I first tested Atomic Rose on my skin it reminded me of Delina. I have wanted to like Delina but I find something sharp in its composition. AR is so smooth and the dry down is so addictive. I would love to have this beauty. I really like Rehab as well. What an amazing house!

Initio Atomic Rose smells exactly like Delina.
Atomic Rose though smells the way Layered is described : it dries down with more pepper/ could be vetiver - and Delina has more sharpness but they’re so close!
I really like the vetiver I’m smelling with Atomic Rose :-)). I already purchased Delina but next will be Rose Atomic.

Atomic Rose: always reminds me of makeup like chalky lipstick smear in the heart notes, and final dry down dark chocolate (I swore choc-patchouli was in the base). Maybe it's just my skin. Nobody else gets rose essential oil for diffusers, makeup note, and hours later Godiva or Valetine's Day? Reminds me of Dior Homme 2011 mothers purse with makeup and chocolate.
Atomic Rose, got me hooked and coming from you I am highly highly interested.
Rose as a fragrance takes me back to my childhood hence it has special place in my heart. Tobacco being my fav note, i had to buy their side effect so it is my fav intio fragrance.
