My Dad was a massive fan of your content. He spent hours watching your videos, I wasn’t really into it as much as he was at the time. Of an evening, sawing, hammering, and the crackling of campfire noises came out of the living room TV for hours on end! Sadly, he passed away suddenly (age 51) last year. I’ve been enjoying your content recently, and it makes me feel closer to him, even if that sounds a strange thing to say. Thank you for such brilliant videos, and for providing him, and now me, hours of entertainment. He would’ve loved to have seen the construction of this awesome shelter. Keep up the great work.

Wish more people would put out such "no narration" videos. Works equally well for everyone, worldwide. Very soothing to watch. And those hurricane lanterns were a nice touch.
"No narration" is fine, but more important is not to add any artificial background "music" to such beautiful videos! Just let nature sing!

I can't get enough of these type of video's! I'm a 43yo old woman who's never really been into all the shopping, makeup, wine, etc. I really just want to go out into the woods and build shelters/forts, drink some beer, && listen to some good ol' country music Haha!
It's so funny bc one of my really good friends says she could never see me camping or out in the wilderness in general. Apparently we're not THAT close lol!😆 Doing girly shit is just boring. Js.🤷♀️ ... Ok... "Most things"! 😏💭😜😉😂

Am amazed at how many videos there are of people working very hard to build a shelter that will quickly rot away because they laid their logs directly on the ground….was nice to see someone do it right.

I always wanted to see how a log cabin is constructed. You used a chain saw but i bet it was real hard work back in the day before them. What back breaking work goes into building it. Thank you so much. Your videos are inspiring and educational and relaxing. 😊

Really nice Hunters Cabin. You can have a custom canvas door with a screen made for the opening. Get a roof jack with a cover and some sheet metal for the floor. Your door and stove go home with you when you're done.

I got one of those 18 inch DeWalt 40v battery chainsaws and have been using it to clear out some wooded land to set up a good sized camp with places for several shelters. I absolutely love it. Plenty of power and no fuss with starting it or noise. I haven't even gone through one 9ah battery. I'll probably pick up another one once we're ready to start building some shelters. Maybe 2 more.

I was having an anxiety attack for no reason tonight, then opened my UA-cam.. Then saw the notification.. Yupp, its your video coming up.. Am watching this halfway and my anxiety is now slowly receding... There's something about watching you working in the forest with the sound of the woods knocking, breaking, tweaking in the forests, the sound of the wind blowing the trees and leaves, birds chirping in the background, they are really a calming effects (but not the sound of the chainsaw though, mind u.. Hahaha.. Lol 🤣🤣).. It really does reduce my anxiety every time i watch your videos.. Thanks to you for that Andy.. By the way, you are pretty good in all the things you do or built.. Love watching u cooking as well.. I did try a few of your recipes, and they are awesome. Of coz i have to replace the pork and wine or beer to kosher or "HALAL" beef and stocks, as i am a Muslim.. A huge shoutout to Simon for introducing you in your collab video a couple of years back, and i've been your subscriber ever since.. Greetings from Malaysia.. Keep it coming man.!!
