There's a huge difference between a commute and pleasure driving, i love driving fast narrow twisting roads, but driving to get somewhere is not fun. Just to have a choice is mind blowing.
7:50 exactly, people that argue 'well Im a driver I like to drive' even though they are in heavy traffic are kidding themselves. I like to drive myself as well but 98% of the time is commuting not 'driving'.
The car has 1020hp, what’s the point of racing haha? The scat pack is a great car, but I’d have said the same thing if a 2500hp TT Huracan pulled up next to me
CA exempt only means it is a government agency vehicle. Not necessarily a police vehicle. For instance, the welfare agency are CA exempt vehicles also.
This is so impressive! I am so glad this is the Model X, because most videos I see are My or M3. I am about to purchase a MX and wanted to see how it performs. Tesla seems to be leaving behind the X and the S and making the 3 and the Y more cutting edge.
At around the 5 minute mark you incorrectly called out a guy walking across the crosswalk during a green light and green pedestrian light. He was not in the wrong. It seems a lot of drivers don't understand basic rules for driving that they should.
I'm curious if the FSD would work at a place like the Disneyland parking garage. It would be nice if the ASS works in the garage after a long day at Disneyland. Nobody has any videos yet of how the FSD performs at places such as major amusement parks, stadiums, and other major attractions with parking.
Parker Nirenstein Great Video I think it's awesome that Tesla Full Self Driving system has become so good and I think you should definitely get the subscription again
Self driving is probably the worst invention to be put into mass production vehicles ever. When you are in self driving mode you are inherently less engaged in the safety of you and others around you. Actually being the pilot of the vehicle makes you more engaged and aware of your surroundings. Accidents that happen in self driving mode are easily avoidable if the driver was actually driving not just in control of the brake pedal. Say the self driving car hits a person and kills them because they stepped into the road, the car didn't know it was a person and never slowed down, and the driver would be much less likely to see that person or judge what they were going to do as they are less engaged in the driving and are in fact lulled into a false sense of security from constantly self driving their car all the time. A person actually piloting the vehicle would have seen the person and their intent to cross the road and at least slowed down or even stopped. This may only apply to certain people who use self driving 99% of the time, but the fact is tesla wants everyone to use self driving more and more so they make that sweet subscription money.
While I totally agree there are some inherent issues, so many people today are on their phones distracted while driving. In theory a computer will eventually be a better driver than a human. Whether or not that is currently the case is up for debate
@@pnirenstein In theory yes. I am just an advocate for critical thinking skills and being in as much control of your environment as possible. If people are on their phones while driving they should be given a ticket. Following rules of the road and respecting others on the road in my opinion teaches patience along with critical thinking. Driving without assistance also keeps people accountable. Who is at fault if a self driving car hits someone? The car manufacturer or the driver? I digress.
It’s way better if you are a responsible person. You just monitor the situation in addition to FSD doing its thing. That being said some versions of the FSD had regressions which made it very annoying to use.
@@squirtle88 You're probably a better driver than FSD today... and you might be "an advocated for critical thinking skills"...but have you seen 98% of the smooth-brained, mongoloids who operate motor vehicles today? I'd take my odds surrounded by a bunch of AI drivers than the rest of the talent out there. At least the AI will become far more predictable, consistent, and improve at a considerably faster rate than human drivers. Let's compare the stats on accidents caused by human drivers compared to vehicles driving autonomously per miles driven.
Your senses are not occupied in the task of driving so theoretically you should be even more free to monitor your surroundings. Whether you want to be engaged or not is completely up to you
The biggest thing I learned from this video is how big of a dump LA is 😂😂😂
We’ve been building a wall on the wrong border for years.. it really needs to be on the Californian border
No kidding
Haha 😆 agree!
That state has such natural beauty and they are just letting it go to sh*t!!
Was not the prettiest down there 😂

I can't BELIEVE down town LA looks like that. It looks like you're in the SLUMS of Mexico. That is unbelievable what they have done do that city
What the heck happened to LA? So many people on the streets! Actually incredibly sad.
This video reminds me of why I subbed, this was hilarious 😂 great vid Parker!
The fact that there is barely a mention of how Shit LA looks is hilarious. This looks like a Cyberpunk 2077 district.

"Your a scat pack am not racing you" had to be one of the most disrespectful things i have ever heard in the car community 😂
But make sense if you’re in a Plaid or something similar! Dude need a 4 wheel drive Demon😂😂😂

I really enjoy the ride
Yeah v12.5.4.1 changes lanes to exit too late & often misses exit. Thankfully that will be fixed next patch.
Is this legacy/HW3?
How does the insurance work out if an accident occurs and some one is killed is the driver liable or is it the car manufacturer?
The driver is responsible. It’s FSD-Supervised.
I imagine I’d be responsible

Nice ending to the video 😂😂
LA has really become a shit hole (more-so) since I used to live there in 2008. Granted, that was Westwood. Still, yikes.

It needs to map the whole garage first . Possible but they probably aren’t focusing on that right now
Oh my goodness .This great job done😮😅❤
It’s like GTA
So chill, average, assertive and then the next one should be “Los Angeles”.
Put that shit in Joe mode. Your blinkers are loud asf.
Whats Joe mode?
It's crazy how much FSD has improved. Borderline flawless now.
It’s unreal!
Well in Australia ASSERTIVE is called Mad Max, of yeah he is very funny
Damn the way it ran the yellow at the end lmao
