Aww thank you po! 😭 Never po ako naging magaling sa public speaking so I want to be better huhu
@@Juwonee i admire you! Ang galing mo..very smart! I love kdrama and korean actors...i wish matuto dn ako ng korean language😊
Your voice doesn't change when you speak the 3 languages. What changes is the speed and the intonation. You have that rich, low voice which is pleasing to the ears.
Aha! You’re righttt
Exactly my thoughts!! I even like the slight attitude of hers. Nakakatuwa nga eh pero hindi naman mayabang.
Ah yes! Sociolinguistics.
Ala ehy baki ga ganyan🙂 ay aa taga san pabloi🙂
The speed and tone
Anyone who speaks more than one language should be applauded. You speak English with a Filipino accent. I guess it’s because you’ve lived in the Philippines for a long time. I envy the fact that you speak Tagalog very well. I am an American of Filipino descent and I am not able to speak Tagalog fluently. However I understand it 100%.
just have to practice and do it.
@@soypinoy5251 absolutely!
Kagaleng mo ga magtagalog. Ay kainaman Ang husay. San Ka ga tumira sa Batangas?
Filipino language can be learned. If you have someone related to you who can speak the language, may that be your parents , grandparents, relatives, etc. It is good start to have a conversation with them.
shes cool.
grabe! yung punto at tunog... parang laking batangas 👌🏻 cheers 🇵🇭
Though you are korean physically, you are still a filipino by heart, like everything else is filipino. You speak comfortable in tagalog, very formal in english and very awkward in Korean 😁 But that’s why you are loved by many, 😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️
She is more Filipina rather than Korean, the whole video I was smiling watching love her accent.
Ang lupet, 2-steps ahead. Knowing the accents and everything. Speechless. Batangas represent! 💯👌🏼
There's nothing wrong having an asian or filipino accent whenever you're speaking in english. The important thing is that you are clear in saying it. I love how well you speak in Tagalog.
Greetings from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.
I love your accent.
I'm Chinese, but I got a very strong Filipino accent that foreigners could easily associates me for being a Filipino. Well done to you and your parents who speak to you in your Korean language. My mum was born in the Philippines, she spoke to her parents in Chinese but tagalog to us, they got no choice as we were raised in restaurant business and everyone speaks tagalog.
Kudos to you
She has strong filipino english accent.... so if you are problematic for the strong Filipino English accent.,,much better learn to speak Chinese English accent or Indian English accent.. for foreigners they understand Filipino English accent rather than any other Asian English accent...👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Ala eh, there is no problem with my accent.
Nakakatuwa k eneng eh congrats to you nadaig moko eh hahahaha
Lannang ue 🤩 IS BASED
When are you starting your own vlog? 😂
Tawang tawa ako nung nagba-Batangas accent ka. Laughtrip talaga. Kakatuwa. Sana ay minsang gawin mong content ang straight Batangueño accent tagalog mo while speaking with a pure Batangueño on the phone. Saan ka ba makakakita ng Koreanang Batangueña?!? Ikaw yun!
I love it when you speak batangenio... i love the sound, the tone, the intonation, haha... i love batangas kasi and it's so nice to hear someone like you speak my native tounge... you earn so much of my respect.
I just had my confirmation! I knew all along that you are a Batangueña base on your intonation. I have watched this particular video several times and it made me smile all the time. You are spot-on a real Batangueña! Ako’y natuwa at nagalak nung marinig kita na nag batangueña accent.
Proud “ala-eh” here, from Batangas City! Watching all the way from San Francisco, California
I just recently stumbled upon your videos and i like your insights..i found this vid that showed you speaking in a Batanguena accent very entertaining: you sounded just like a true-blue Batanguena. The way you speak in English/Taglish reminds me of my former Korean students who also grew up here and thus have acquired the Filipino accent: the way you speak is clearly understood, with just the right temo. To me, your voice sounded husky, not siga or astig. Good singing voice, i think. By the way, I am a Batanguena too, and i am curious where in Batangas you grew up 😀
As a batangueno myself, I'd say she really has an authentic batanguena accent. Wayyyy better than those "batangueno characters" in TV with their awful "accent" lol
Gay-own
The over the top, exagerated accent on tv is so bad.
I don't. I tend to switch the channel whenever there's a "batangueno character" on screen. I can't stand the "ala eh" at the beginning of their every phrase (which is the case most of the time).
I'm pretty sure I've seen her content popping in my feed before but it's the first time I'm watching it likewise, making a comment. I usually dislike watching this kind of content and thought it would be just one of those people on TV pulling up the awful batangueno accent for "cultural integration" but to my surprise, she really has one.
This is just me commending her authentic accent and it has nothing to do with her appearance or with her race. I'm just glad to hear a nonpretentious accent (something I personally find rare on-screen).
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I’m Filipino living in the US for 40 years. Back in my college years, it was quite difficult to learn Tagalog as the national language.I’m Ilonggo & Tagalog was like a foreign lingo to me. I’m very impressed by your fluency in English and Tagalog. You inspire me.
Greatly awed by ur Batangas accent...in my case the accent comes out when I'm around relatives who are from Batangas but it switches off when with friends from Manila....so there's a turn on/off switch depending on whim I'm with but there are words that are distinctly Batangueno like "dine" which means here or "ganire" which means this. There are so many words distinctly Batangueno that we are just unaware during conversations. Great vlog Juwonee! 🤗
Whatever language that you use, or accent that you have, I still find you entertaining and very pleasant to listen to! ❤️
Thank you! 🥹
Ka galing mo nmn mgtagalog/Batangas accent.doesn’t matter what language U speak, mahalaga U can express yourself clearly.husay mo ineng 👏🏼
Gosh. Your Batangueño accent is so on-point.
This amazes me! I used to live in Iloilo and met Koreans who were perfectly fluent in Hiligaynon, having stayed there for 5+ years. Kudos to you for being able to speak multiple languages. I wish I could learn Korean too.
I'm sure I'm not the first time you've heard this - witnessing you speak so many languages is MESMERIZING. ✨
I've noticed that when listening to Korean or Japanese speakers, parang laging ang precise ng pagsasalita. Like when you're in Korean-mode (and a bit in English), walang paltos or mali yung words..
Great videos, keep them coming!
You are an incredible woman with the ability to communicate in English, Korean, and a combination of Tagalog-Ala eh. I was born in Bantangas but I never really learned how to speak Tagalog in Batangueno tone fluently because I was very young when we moved from Santo Tomas, Batangas to Cebu, then Antique, and finally settled in Iligan City. I have been living here ever since and pursued my education from high school to college. Although I identify more as a Cebuano, I am also proficient in speaking both Tagalog and English. However, I must admit that I am genuinely impressed by your intelligence and how well you understand various subjects based on the way you speak. Your speaking style resembles that of an academician, with a clear and articulate manner of expressing yourself. I find it cool how you present yourself and project your thoughts. "언제나 안전하세요" (eonjena anjeonhaseyo). Try ko to say keep safe always in K.
You nail it girl. I am a Batanguena . Born in the Philippines but live most of my life in the U. S. I really appreciate you. You are smart, intelligent and beautiful. ❤😂❤❤❤
My wife loves you more after hearing you talk in your batangueno accent, she’s now convinced that you are a batangueno.
Pls tell your wife thank you! omg 😆
as a Batanguena, you got our accent on point..🤣🤣.. love it..
Wow! Batanguena/Korean! You made my day. I guess I just missed hearing the accent again because my friends here in the states are from Visayas, Ilocos and Manila. I'm glad that you cleared up how we use "Ala Eh" in a conversational context. Exaggge naman kse minsan mga pipol when they make fun of the Batangueno accent! Yep, you do sound different speaking in the 3 languages.
You have a good speaking voice. I find it cute everytime I hear you saying 'dine'. I am native Tagalog speaker as well with Bulacan accent, lol. You'll never notice the accent unless you are speaking to someone or people not from your place/province. Anyways, you are doing a great job, I'm looking forward to watching more videos from your YT channel.💜
Hahaha
Cute ding mag batangueno. Naaaring ilaban ke quennie. Lol. Ay hala, ipagpatuloy mo yan.
English Trans: Omg You have decent Batangueno Accent , so good! Plus you have pretty eyes .
Juwon, i love you! Nkkatuwa yun mga contents mo! More pa about Korean and Phippines experiences mo! At sana wag mong kalimutan ang magtagalog! Take care and God bless!
Spot on! Loved it when you switched to Batangueño accent. Suddenly missed my dad who’s from Lipa. Classic line of his: Manaog ka sa lupa at ikuha mo ako ng tubig.
"Nanay! Are nga si Tutuy, nagdadamo! Kaiimis ko laang eh o! Palui nga ho!"
I was really surprised by your Filipino English! It really does sound very Filipino! Ang cute! 😍
I think we have to attribute the change in "voice" to the facilities used in speaking these 3 languages. The use of glottal ang guttural sounds are not heavy in English, slightly in Tagalog, while a bit heavy in Korean.
This girl "destroyed" my epic perception of k dramas when she spoke batangueno.
Im filipino american and my family is from Batangas and I never noticed there was an accent despite completely understanding tagalog. I cant speak it well but I can fully understand what's being said. You just blew my mind.
Your Batangeno accent is so good. As a full blood Batangena, ❤❤❤❤
Ang cute mo talaga ☺️. Sana di ka magbago. I'm proud of you because even though you are already in Korea. You didn't forget to look back at the PH's culture and language. You really deserve to have more subs.
As a Filipino who speaks in English and Tagalog with a Bicolano father ( with Bicol dialect which I don't understand ) and a mother from Mindoro ( a bit of accent ) and now learning and speaking basic Dutch, I do have the same translation happening in my head before speaking. Korean, Japanese, Chinese and other language that does not use alphabets are a different story specially in reading and writing. I love your content!
Ang tono mo when you speak Batangueño accent is cool. Astig na astig. Parang brusko baga. Its like you'll miss the place and the people of Batangas pag gay-un.
Batangueño areh since birth.
I'm so amaze seeing a Koreana speaking straight Tagalog in your vlogs. 😍😍😍
sarap pakinggan kapag ngtatagalog na sya, proud batangueno dine
🥰
your accents and knowledge in every language is so amazing
It's my first time a Korean speak fluent Tagalog. I'm speechless. I wish we meet in person
Haha.
You look cute when you speak in Batangas accent. Nakaka amazed. Yes, intonation or accents will vary it depends on the environment you have. sometimes, we can be influenced by our friends or loved ones. I love your content 💜 Please keep on posting 😍💜
Wow Juwonee, ang galing mo ha! U impressed me and u r very attractive especially when u speak Tagalog.
I love the sound of your voice in whatever language you speak. So adorable! 🥰🥰🥰
Galeng mong mag-Batangueño! I’m from Batangas too and you gave me a hearty laugh while listening to your narratives. Thank you for embracing our Filipino culture! But it’s better if you do it the Batangueño-English way, like, How are you ga? I’m fine eh! 😝🫶🏻😂
Your Batangeño accent is so cute and endearing. It kind'a brings our your charming personality. ❤
It's so nice to hear you speaking defferent languages specially Philippines language😊👏👏👏
Yoooo you had me rollin😂😂😂. You’re awesome. You’re automatically smarter than non trilingual. You’re sense of humor is on point. Keep it up
I am from Batangas but I live in the USA for a long time but I still have my Batangueno accent when I talk...according to my friends and coworkers
You really have the Batangas accent when you speak tagalog. Cute 🙂
Batangenyo accent is unique, but most people find it intimidating because we actually misunderstood as being angry but they didn't know its our natural intonation. Your tagalog accent shows your batangenya origin since you been living in Batangas for more than a decade and as a batangenyo I find it very amusing to see a korean like you speak like a native batangenya. I hope i can met you when i go to Korea (Chuncheon) this year. Kow, siguro'y miss mo na mag-lume.... :-)
i like it when u speak tagalog. batanguena ka pala talaga. when i first see ur vlog, i thought " bakit ga ang batang ito ay parang batanguena". Aysus kaya pala naman. Natutuwa ako syo jowuneeshi..🇵🇭💐♥️🤟take care neng😘
Yup parang galit.Lalo na pag tumingin ang tapang niyo parang ang dalang niyo rin ngumiti.IDK yan napansin ko last visit ko nung November sa Tagaytay last year.Na-culture shock ako😅😅.Gusto ko ulit bumalik at mamasyal diyan sa batangas.
omg i like your batangueño accent 😍🤩 palaban nga ang boses nila hehehe love it!!!
I salute you for being a multi lingual person. I’m a pilipino and living here in California mostly half of my life now and my English is still with pinoy accent. So you’re so amazing. Envy you! Kudos to your channel. Keep up the good work! ❤it.
Your “siga” way of speaking Tagalog is speaking confidently Tagalog. That’s how it comes out to me, in my opinion. Your tagalog appears so amusingly natural! 😂
My opinion: Your English has an american accent, your tagalog has a manila accent and you shouldn't lose your Batanguena accent. There is something about your Batanguena accent that is lyrical, gripping and funny all at once. Gripping in the sense that it grabs the listener and doesn't let go. Reminds me so much of Batanguena Ho. She's funny and is endowed with a great personality. Maybe that's the word I was looking for. Your Batanguena accent has so much personality. I don't know Korean but I speak some Japanese and I put your accent in the same tune. And apparently the amalgam of all these accents has helped in molding you into a very articulate young lady with a very warm and pleasant voice. Not to mention very comely.
that's not american accent. It's a neutral accent.
@@brencastillo4496 There is no such thing as a neutral accent because there is no such thing as a neutral language. Neutrality can mean political ideology such as the Swiss' neutrality. But the Swiss speak German and when they talk they have German or Swiss accents. Not neutral accent. Filipinos can have ilokano, visayan, or batangueno accents but not neutral accents. The English speaking people can have British, american, canadian, australian, irish, new zealander and such accents for example. And an american can have southern, New York, Boston, Texan and such accents. But not neutral accent.
And here's an interesting thing that I've noticed: Lea Salonga speaks english with at least 3 different accents. When in the philippines, she speaks english with filipino accent, in New York she has an american accent but in London she communicates in english with a british accent.
@@artemiontessan378 a simple google search will tell you what a neutral accent is. A neutral accent is an accent that is not discernable as originating in any specific region.
If you look for a look for a job here in the Philippines which requires English language fluency, they always prefer people with "Neutral accent" because people with neutral accent can be easily understood than those people with accents.
@@brencastillo4496 That is still wrong because by definition accent is discernible. You cannot accentuate something by making it indiscernible. Indiscernible accent is an oxymoron.
Awesome! 😍
I can speak many languages as well like English, Tagalog (Manila) , Bicol, Rinconada, Iloko and Kapampangan and you're right they have a different tone and intonation.
I have to commend you for your language skills that not very many people can claim to have. You remind me of the time when I was growing up in the Philippines. When we lived in Manila, we spoke Bicol at home which was my parents' native language/dialect. With friends outside, we spoke Tagalog. I also learned English in school from grade school through college and grad school and learned Spanish in college while practicing it with relatives who are fluent in the language. And btw, I don't have the "sablay" but I graduated from the same university before they started the tradition.
OMG your bit on batangas hit my nostalgia because it's so true. Sometimes I'll hear people talking and one of them will be like "BAKIT KA GALIT?!?!?!?!" "HINDI PA GALIT, BATANGAS KO!!!!". Just how they talk and it's hilarious because it's how their intonation is but it ends up being the same way other people talk when they're mad HAHAHAHA.
Love your videos and seeing just how while you're ethnically Korean, because you grew up in the Philippines you're just straight pure Filipina, makes me think Sandara Park since it's the same
Uhg! The smiles!!!! 😭❤️✋🏼😩 nakakaturn on talaga yung ang ganda ng ngipin tas pati smile mygaaaaaaaad nakakatunaw omy omy hahahaha
Ang cute nung batangueño part!!! ☺️
You sound so fluent when speaking tagalog especially with that batangueño accent!!!!!!😩 ala eh parang mapapa subscribe ako nito
to answer your question, i agree. my accent indeed changes with the languages or dialects i speak, and mostly influenced with the accent of the place.
You're so cool speaking in batangueno, accent and all 😄 Great job learning and using 3 languages! 🫡
Juwooneee, I follow you since tiktok. It's nice seeing you making YT vids. 🤝
KAinaman ka Juwon eh! Ang galing eh!😍 super galing mo talaga. I am so amazed on houw you shifted ypur languages smoothly..even if I close my eyes, I feel like listening ta Filipino. Mabuhay ka! 😄
Wow!! This girl amazes me. Accent does not matter as long as people can understand you.
Shet galing! Naaliw naman ako sa vid. Legit na batangueno accent.
I so so love the english filipino accent!! Sarap pakinggan!!
Kakyooot!!! Yung tagalog accent nya boyish yung tono. Apaka kyooooot!!!
I live in Pansol for a few years in the 70's, pretty near Batangas. I haven't heard Ala-eh forever. The memories. Good learning vid👏👏👏

Ayos. Kababayan na kita ineng! Ka galeng mo mag batanguenyo accent eh! :D
*_Hi, Juwon/Juwonee! I really admire and like the way you vlog. It is very enjoyable to watch. You are also funny most of the times which gives us, the viewers, really happy vibes. Very-well explained ang video mo na ito about tones, accents, voices, etc. of the 3 languages you use + 1 dialect (Batangueño). I wish I myself knew how to speak and understand the Korean language so it would be easier to watch my fave K-Dramas and K-Pop songs. More videos, please. And you are so pretty, too. I like you._*
Nice! I have Batangueño friends, and you speak their language very well. Thanks for sharing!
That"s amazing😍ang galing mo naman hija at ang ganda panooorin mo magsalita in different languages. Really COOL!
Anneong ! Of all Koreans I met, your Tagalog pronounciation is the Best ! Salamat po.
Soooo cute! I love your batangueño accent! You are a filipina at heart! You are adorable!
Spot on with "Ala eh". Kagaleng ga nareng si ineng! A true Batangueña at heart ❤️
Whahahaha .... .... ASTIG!!! Thanks for this, I'm from Quezon my self and the Batanguenyo accent is really very prominent as such, very familiar to most Filipino ... ... and that .... Juz ko Rudeh!!! The besss ka. hehehe. I would have said nice vid, but this one is actually GREAT! 🤣😂🥰🥰🥰
Ang cute hhehe, subscribed 😄❤️
Kudos for learning 3 languages, young lady! Your English is quite precise and clear. Your Tagalog is also clear and actually better than some people I know. Ang Batangueno mo ay tunay! Your voice can be described as "pleasingly low" or somewhat husky. 👍
Ang galing mo. You’re awesome Juwonee.👍
You’re so cute!!! Nakakatuwa ang accent no, Juwon!
So cool being multilingual but I love your batangueno accent. It sound so cute and a bit entertaining hearing it from a Korean lady.
Astig ate,,,like it Ala eh....Ka galing eh!!!👍😊❤️ Cutie😺
Ang galing mo Juwonee! Ingatz!
I admire how u have adjusted to d 2 languages - namely English and Tagalog…more power!!!

ang cuuuuuute mo magsalitaaaa!!! AHAHAHA ako'y naaliw ih! tubo at laking Batangas ako but have been living in Manila for a long time now. nawala yung Batangas accent ko but I have reacquainted with it and brought it back.
LUV IT!
Love hearing your Batangenyo accent.
❤🎉 Happy for you to adapt 4 languages and I'm proud that you learned that in the Philippines. Continue with your journey..❤❤🎉😊😊😊😊
Wow..amazing..you are really good at it..mapapa sana all ka na lang!anyhow..keep it up..
This content gave me a smile.. First time I heard a Korean having a Batangueno accent..very rare...
