3:50 those are called "floral finishers" and no, you can't get demon fangs out of any monster using only the slash technique, only the first enemies (imps) and some other monsters work out like that, but later, you'll have to use different brush techniques, like using cherry bombs on some of the guardians or using galestorm against crow tengus. In fact, there are lists out there saying exactly which technique you need to use on each monster to get their demon fangs, with some of them giving you 4 or 5 fangs per enemie! Also, if the loading screen mini games are back on this version, it's also a great way to farm demon fangs. Also, another tip for anyone that hasn't played it yet: fuck upgrading astral pouches!
id argue if youre at least decent at videogames particularly this game increasing inkpots is first priority. i rarely take damage or die. i died more from drowning & falling than i did from enemy damage.
You can also get a demon fang for performing a well timed reflector block against an enemy melee attack. some enemies can be forced to do blind melee by blinding them with ink scribbled on them
What you mentioned in Tip 7 are called "floral finishers" and no, Power Slash doesn't work as a floral finisher on most enemies; only the Green Imp, Red Imp, Yellow Imp, Black Imp, Dead Fish, Chimera, Bell Guardian, Thunder Ear, Thunder Doom Mirror, Tube Fox, Clay Flyer, and Dogu have Power Slash as their floral finisher.
I'm no expert at Okami by any stretch of the imagination, and I might be wrong in asserting this, but I feel rosaries only do more damage than glaives if you don't charge the glaive's strikes, because if you do, they pretty much melt even the spongiest of bosses.
While it is effective to use Celestial Brush to defeat foes or decrease their HP, please do mind that demons won't drop demon fangs if you finish their HP off using Celestial Brush. They drop Demon Fangs only if you use Celestial Brush technically AFTER their HP is depleted with a RIGHT brush technique, like Fatality in Mortal Kombat. Sometimes it's Slash, sometimes it's Cherry Bomb, sometimes it's Rejuvination etc. It's trial and error which enemy will be finished with which Floral Finisher. Also, you might compensate the money by selling the pottery, pearl etc or fishes, but Demon Fang is dropped ONLY with Floral Finisher and you do not want to accidentally kill your enemies using Celestial Brush, or your Ink Gauge is depleted after using Celestial Brush to defeat said enemies. So use Celestial Brush only when the situation needs it.
@@spiritualfox1949 There's ways to heal: 1) Eat holy bone(s), accessed from Item Menu 2) Having a sun drop by defeating enemies or crushing pots or slashing grasses/veggies 3) There's a treasure you can purchase from a merchant, and when you equip it, you can just let Amateras be and she'll yawn and sleep and recover herself (she'll be surrounded by flowers). Your money will be automatically decreased as your HP recovers. Enemies can still attack you, so make sure you rest in an enemy-free zone. 4) If your HP is depleted to zero, your full poach will return you back to full health, and it won't be counted as game over. That's why you need to recharge the poach by having veggies and fruits. Also, upgrade your poach quantity using the gratitude you get. Good luck.
Do you mean the puzzle in the Wawku Shrine to get Blizzard? There's a room underneath the blizzard machine with some leaf piles. Blow them away with your wind technique to reveal three round symbols with lines on them. Iirc first one is up, second is to the right and third one to the left. Go out again, unfreeze the handle of the blizzard machine with a nearby torch and your fire technique. The three round wheels start to spin. Slow them down with your mist technique and match the symbols you saw in the room
@@jenniferalmeida5627 I highly recommend the game. And if you mean the puzzle to get the last Brush Technique, the user above your newest comment is correct about how to solve the puzzle.
Have you even played the game? My face was screwed up majority of it due to the wrong terminology you’re using and so called “advice” you’re feeding people.

I have never died against an enemy so never use astral punch😂😅

Golden furry isn’t the only other way there is a third technique where you poop and it explodes if it hits the enemy it will also make them drop fangs
Another tip that I'll keep vague to avoid spoilers. When you are presented with a rainbow bridge to cross there is no going back once you're over!
look in the log to discover floural finisher I believe
0:33 u mean power slash
Dude I didn’t know about the Y dash option!
You played the game without ever pressing the dash button? You can also accelerate by dodging
How did you use a drawn plant to wall jump where you should be double jumping? Can't find the video on that which I had found before
Do you have to be transported to an arena every time you fight enemies or can you also just fight them out in the world?
You have to be transported
anyone know how to heal?
wolfs "favorite snack"
use the holy bones
To the point ang great, thanks.
I am stuck with the paint brush bison..I kinda dislike the game
A bit late, I know; but what do you mean by "paintbrush bison"?
You dislike the game because you are stuck?? Hahahah let me laugh please
Hahhahha😂👌

I don't think they did.
