Thank you for this video! I also love the Ox Box, and I'm looking to add a re-amp device to my at-home studio, so this overview was great. Would love to see a follow-up video focused on using re-amped hardware fx in creative / experimental ways that are difficult or impossible to do without re-amping! (Stuff like adding chaotic delay feedback to intros and outros, using phaser pedals with drum tracks, etc.) And even just seeing more of your process and workflow using the Ox Box and re-amping in general. Do you ever use plugin software fx for the D.I. track, and then replace them later with hardware fx via re-amping? If so, do you sometimes like the plugin sound better than some pedals?
Hey, definitely sounds like a great idea for a follow up video. I do often use the DI track with some amp sim plugins and effects. I often use the NI Guitar Rig system, but I recently got a UAD Plexi Amp sim and wow that thing is pretty close to the original to my ears. Sometimes, I use the software and just leave it at that, especially for non prominent lines, but otherwise I will reamp to get a particular sound or to use some effects pedals. At the end of the day, whatever is easily worked into my workflow and still sounds great for what I'm after.
Then by all means, please record the speaker ❤️ this is just a great way to get a realistic recreation of the speaker sound when you don't have either the time or the equipment/space to record a live guitar amp speaker.

How did you manage to have separate DI channel?
cheers
hi,the id out from the interface, thru the reampbox ,than plug in the pedalboard.
So the speaker sound doesn’t count for anything? What if you like the speaker?😊
