You're not boring anyone with your back story Taku, thanks for letting us get to know you better.
Great video as always. So happy to see your channel grow and allow you to travel.
The Lionfish looked really good btw.
you’re not boring us with your story. i love hearing people’s backgrounds
3 Things:
Jocelyn is good luck.
A beautiful story about your family.
Breathtaking views as per usual.
P.S. this music has urged me to listen more to Nujabes.
You showed a side of Japan that most people don't see. All you usually see are the densely populated areas. I hope to see you catch and cook Jelly Fish!!!!!. You might as well start doing beer reviews too.
I agree with the beer reviews as well!
Beer reviews is a solid idea mate.
The way you move through life is so admirable, you take the serendipity of things in a pleasant, composed way. This channel is a gem! You and Jocelyn are a great duo.
My Mom was born in Japan my grandmother came to the us with my Grandfather after ww2. She cooked the best food I miss her dearly. Great video Taku your content is awesome man.
Incredible! Everything tastes better in a beautiful location!
Thanks for sharing your story!
Cooking with Shereen Amen!
Taku, you are very fortunate to have the lovely Jocelyn accompany you on all your adventures.
Just beautiful family you got there, enjoy taku and J. Moments like this one are irreplaceable. Many tums up.
I don't understand how people can thumbs down another person that is genuinely vlogging their lives. And making good content for us to watch when we shower.
Watching you fish brings back memories of my dad fishing. He didn’t care if he caught anything and he’d fish in the rain. He was born in Japan too and came over to the states when he was 13. Enjoy watching you fish, filet the fish, and hearing you and your family speak Japanese.
You are my favorite UA-camr and I’ve been on the platform for over 13 years. You’re amazing and I want to be just like you.
Congrats man im sure your dad is proud of you. I got lucky, the last thing my dad said to me before he passed was that he was proud of me and i know not everyone is lucky to have that experience
Thank you for sharing your story, giving us a peak into your life. Maybe in another video you can tell us how you became a chef.
You’re living the life man! I hope you’re happy with your family life today. I know what it’s like growing up without a dad due to war. Hope you find solace in the fact you’re not alone and you’ve got some friends here on your channel.
my father is an ofw its been 14 yrs also when he started working overseas and he still is hope one day i can spend time with him. like you and your dad
That's why it's called fishing instead of catching. Keep up the good work Taku, appreciate your content.
The videos of being back home are the best!! I'm addicted to watching all your videos but Japan isn't like any other place. I'm pumped and looking forward to the ones in Okinawa. I spent 8 months there and it's my favorite place in the world. I greatly appreciate you and what you show the world through a camera lens. Much love from Texas!!
Loving the way your opening up. I see how you’ve become less and less camera shy from when you first started. Keep it up bro.
Thanks for sharing your story with everyone on UA-cam. Never boring for us viewers. Happy for you brotha.
I'm so glad that you decided to make UA-cam videos full-time. You deserve the adventure! Keep up the amazing videos!

Gorgeous scenery. Choked up hearing about your Dad. Thanks for "boring" us with that. I'm going to try that flour\egg\panko next time I fry calamari...want to get that crisp.
You're the man taku!!!! I know your content will take off, and you deserve all the rewards that entail my friend.

Great backstory, great video, and you got the cutest little sister in the world! Looking forward to seeing Okinawa, where my family is from!
Taku that was a really sad story about your dad not making it to America. But what a man to still carry on providing for his family the other side of the world. Well now you can spoil him. Great Vid.
Iys just nice to know a little about you family story..spend more time to ur dad..
Such beautiful scenery in Japan. So happy you started UA-cam full time.
Great scenic shots....and scenery!
knife is life... great drone footage on this one! reminds me of a visit to Japan when I was 12.
One of my favorite videos Taku and Jocelyn 🤙🏼
I wish i could spend more time with my Dad. The story was honestly touching and inspires me to grind me harder to reach my goals. Watching you from the beginning has inspired me so much.
You got it man! Thanks for watching as always!!
I'm sorry to hear that your dad couldn't come over but that just gives you more reason to visit home and make more videos for us. Taku, it's nice to get to know you and your family.
Extended family camping has been big in my family for 3 generations. Pacific coast of Oregon, the Cascades and central Oregon. Also 2 week extended family camping road trips. Have visited the western half of the US on those road trips. I wish my family wasn't so traditional. Always hamburgers and hotdogs.
It was bad and good when my parents split when I was young. Mom married a Japanese man and I was introduced to a whole new world of Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. He also taught me how to play a game with Hanafuda. I haven't played in so long that I have forgotten. :{
That beautiful coastline makes me long for the Oregon coast.
Great video brother. Once again the highlights and a little more personal into your life. I can only imagine what your parents went through those first early years. but destiny has its way with us always. It looks like everyone is happy where they are at you have a beautiful little sister but you probably would not trade her for the world. And it's great to see you do activities with your father. keep sharing those personal moments about yourself I am sure your viewers such as myself are always rooting for you. May the good Lord continue to bless you and everything that you do.
i really appreciate you sharing your story while fishing, really great scene! and generous of you to let us more in to your life, thanks! always appreciate the videos
Man that reminded me of growing up camping with my friends and thier uncles standing around a table talking and eating delicious food. Great video brother, keep it up

G-HOD great video
The red lionfish (Pterois volitans) is native to the Indo-Pacific region, but has become an invasive species in the Caribbean Sea, as well as along the East Coast of the United States and East Mediterranean. No, I didn't know that, I just looked it up :)
Problem in FL is people buy them for aquariums, they devour every bother fish with them, and then people get rid of them in the local waters.
@@kwhatten That reminds me of the pythons that now infest the Everglades. People are so stupid and irresponsible.
Love seeing you with your family 👍🏽
Amazing video! Your little sister is so cute! I miss Japan, and need to visit soon!
Thank you for sharing your story and trip with us.

That’s an endearing story!!! My folks moved us here from Taiwan in 1984, and as an immigrant I can appreciate all the hardship and challenges. You and Jocelyn have an awesome life style #phosho
Those views are stunning!
Lionfish has gotten really popular in Florida, they have big tournaments with prizes for whoever shoots the most, then usually have a big fish fry with them after. In the keys they're in the sushi restaurants too, they're an extremely good eating fish.
Dude what a life you lead! also you will know, but whenever I eat outside the food tastes 10 times better, I can only imagine how fresh your sashimi tastes like. God bless
