Since finding this guy's instruction on UA-cam, I've been going through all his videos to get as much information as possible. His teaching is so clear and detailed, I just wish he was based in the UK. Please keep making many videos Adam.
Thank you for the kind words! We defitnely will keep ‘em coming!
Real talk!!
Most instructors teach around the key points!! And I can’t stand that!! But Adam starts with the set up & take away which is very effective and very understandable…
@@oneheart7409 The way Adam is able to communicate the same ideas different ways to suit the needs of the student is just 🤌🏾
this guy is a world class teacher
THANK YOU!
Greetings Adam, New to your channel. Wrestled for years, sliding off the ball like this student. Applied your hip bump, finding some success. Wasn't grasping the rotation around the base (chest over back knee) then turning left hip around the post (forward leg). This video provided a light bulb moment; a game changer for my ball striking. Thank you!
"[Early extension] is always an effect ; [it] is never actually the flaw" was such an insight I hadn't considered. Thanks!
I have learned so much about the golf swing from you Adam. I have no idea how you don't have 1 million subs.
We hope one day!
Best golf instruction content on UA-cam
Thanks Travis, we appreciate the support!
I watched 2 of your videos and there's stuff in them I've been trying to fix for years. I love the way you talk about the setup. That's all I'm gonna work on until I nail it cause my take away has been all over the place for years.
Still binge watching this channel....it’s the only golf channel I would pay a monthly fee to keep watching lol
Haha! Thank you so much Paul! Funny enough that is really the best way to get better at this game, find something or someone you believe in and commit to them! UA-cam is a fantastic resource but it’s a slippery slope as it is almost impossible to piece together information from multiple sources and get better!
We also have a Full Swing master class which is a step by step easy to understand process of the golf swing with the least amount of manipulation that we work with all of our students towards every day! This is like a lesson of a lifetime! We also offer an online community to help support members!

Enjoy your vids really breaks the swing down and keeps it simple 👍
Adam: thanks for all your content. Your attention to detail for the set up and take away has helped me quite a bit, especially with the shorter irons, driver and fairway woods. Mid and long irons are still a bit off but working on it. Wishing you all the best.
Thanks Paul, means the world, and glad the instruction is helping. We are here to improve golfers and grow the game! Thanks for the comment and support!
So many nuggets of gold here, 24 k
Appreciate it Donnie, what did you like the most?!
Once Again Thank You Sir
Always welcome
3:26 described my takeaway fault exactly. I tend to rush getting my arms and grip to the 'handshake' position which always left me feeling stuck no matter what i did in the downswing. I spent forever trying to not rush my downswing thinking that was why my arms were left behind but i really just needed to slow my takeaway to stay connected to the top. Great content here. Thanks
Great video! The way you coach and your content has done wonders for my golf game. I wish there was a coach in my area with the same approach!
Thanks, glad to hear the instruction is helping! Thanks for the comment and support!
Great lesson! I had seen a pga certified teacher for several sessions after taking 10 years off. I was having trouble following all the different directions and finally after a couple months working on downswing and other goofy stuff he said well if you want to change that we’ll have to change your backswing. So frustrating. I’m a basics and fundamental guy. Teach me a good setup/ posture and grip…. Well just go to Porzak golf and listen to them.
Hi Adam, great videos, could you help to show us i super slow motion your “ hip bump” at set uo, imo thí is the super duper move. Thanks
Ty, I had to pause video to say I absolutely love your passion for the game of golf, but listening and watching what you teach makes me think your like this with your whole life, Bravo, very refreshing to watch and listen to such passion! love it!
Thank you so much! Your 100% spot on. One of the best comments we’ve ever received! Thank you!
Very helpful on how to set up and swing back to establish pressure points for downswing and consistency of strike. Spot on bud!
Thank you
This video really resonated with me! I have to work on the post/brace and inside right foot drill. I have the same early extension issues! I now have hope that there’s a cure. Thanks for providing this!!!
Keep watching and we will help you out!
In my off season I've been doing nothing but shadow swinging my take away watching porzaks videos I cant wait to hit the range soon and get on the course
Let’s gooooo!
Rolling my thighs in changed my pivot so much!
I absolutely understand the giving of blood with the trail arm, but is that the same position with the lead arm?
Your student pin pointed a crucial element of the downswing that needs further insight.
2:15 Gold
Can you do a video about the post and brace but no students? We need a tutorial for dummies 😂😂😂
Your videos are awesome
When doing the hip bump, are essentially putting pressure into the inside of your right foot??
That can be part of it, it creates an anchor poin around your left hip to turn around so you can load into the right foot and glute properly!
Does the hip bump apply to the driver as well?
Yes, all clubs!!
Why does the hammer work so well or what issue is it addressing? I did this today on the range with a rolled towel, never hit crisper iron shots…
Thanks for the comment Rob, to put it simply, it helps you to properly load, then you have pressure to push off of giving you more speed through the ball. If you sign up to our email list we go more into detail on the proper load! www.porzakgolf.com/email/
Thanks for the comment and support!
Big point of confusion for me....
If I understood you correctly, you're pulling the club through with the left hand? So the right is more or less passive? Is that right?
The right handle stay fairly passive until a few moments before impact when it’ll begin to release all of the angles through the golf ball… The golf swing is much more lead arm dominant backswing and down swing!
For the backswing, not sure which knee is on the inside of what.
The trail knee is on the inside of the trail foot
Appears he doesn’t rotate his hips on back swing as though he’s restricting them. Then on down swing he has a quirky move of the hips.
His swing looks like he's doing a stop drill at the top
It seems to me that he does not get the set up right even though Adam tells him over and over that he needs to get in the reverse K.
New changes take a while and are uncomfortable. Even though you can't see a big difference, there was improvement in setup and backswing. Thanks for the comment!
Been really enjoying your videos and way of teaching Adam,it’s really been helping me out trying the things you’re teaching, cheers from Scotland 🏌️♂️👍🏻
Cheers! Thank you for watching!
