Making Money with Common and Uncommon MTG Cards?

- For today's Magic The Gathering video, we have a bit of a MTG finance video. This video goes over how its possible that there is money in your bulk boxes that you don't even know about. Common and uncommon MTG cards are a great way resource that I use to make some extra money. It's only a few dollars at a time, but that money definitely adds up and can eventually be traded for cards of higher value and even decks! In the video, I include my own personal experiences with some commons and uncommons that I've made money off of from sets like Lorwyn and the Masters sets. Mythic's Rare Cards: I bought a 120K common/uncommon collection recently. As I was going through them I separated lands and tokens. I started going through the tokens 1st and found a few dozen in the $1-$6 range. I'm going through lands from Onslaught and older which are selling @ 50 cents - $2.00 & up. Swamp (341), (340), etc...

i went through my enormous box of uncommons and commons last year.

about 10 or more aura shards
1 goblin lore (that one took my by surprise)
tons of manamorphoses
many mana apes
countless chromatic stars

after 3-4 days of sorting i put them up for sale for about 1500$

Great Vid. I once found a Butcher of Kozilek in my spare armchair. No friends could remember losing one, so that has to be my best score.
In summary, some commons/uncommons keep their value (ie-staples like thought vessel, sol ring, etc)
Utilize MTG Scavenger and/or Cardsphere
Had no idea Elvish Promenade was going for $4 a piece haha. Still have my playset from when it was under a $1, so thanks for this!
I can't believe I never realized Divining Top was an uncommon.
I always thought Brass City was a garbage card but I'm glad I used it as a place holder for bulk instead of trashing it because it's going for $600 this week.
I had a bunch of lava spikes in dollar store repacks, and a bunch of burning inquiries from inheriting a few boxes of bulk.

Lovely video content! Apologies for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Ponlena Substratal Prestige (google it)? It is a great one of a kind guide for using these effective spells to get what you want without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend at last got astronomical results with it.
I just found 3 Noxious Revival because of this video, which is about €9 here.
I also found like 12 mana morphoses before they were reprinted, which was nice :)
Apparently Snuff Out is valuable now... I have like 20 copies.
I agreed on buying bulks of 1k+ I've pulled a few high dollars cards and it is worth digging through box bulks

not sure i can sell my 64 gleaming barriers though. (and about 10 other cards that i have 20+ duplicates of from a yard sale box)
I don't likely have any expensive cards in my commons and uncommons. Almost all of my boxes have been gifted to me by others when I first started playing and I don't care enough to go through it all. How should I go about just getting rid of it all?
I’ve found some older gold in bulk because they didn’t know older sets didn’t have gold set symbols I’m assuming.
I buy bulk and think that every common and uncommon worth more than 0,25 Euro is sellable for profit.
So I sold one of my cards at market price when there was a buylist market price. Did I rip someone off?
