    Never go to someone's house (and definitely don't invite them to yours) when meeting them for the first time. Always meet at a restaurant or other public place.

Good/happy stories sometimes only connect with people if they're reeeeally good, maybe because the people long for those types of experiences for themselves. At one point the police find photos of her in a torture device. I’m just happy Sabrina made it out alive and called the police before she passed out.

      I met my husband the old fashioned way, we met at a bar, clicked, dating for a while, got engaged and were married. I don’t know how people do it nowadays. So many people are afraid to speak to each other because of social media and would much rather met each other online, proving to be even scary then speaking with people face to face

    I love how with Katie and Dani, they kind of start off as "Catfish Traps," but it's revealed that not only they were real people, but also the threat is from someone else. While i was a bit sad that the first one didn't work out, i was really happy that the latter one actually had a happy ending. We need more happy endings like this

      Right like a tinder date i set up, i literally made it during the day, at a bowling alley with some friends. That way me or the girl wont feel too uncomfortable and its easier to let your guard down and know, no one is a threat. If the date sounds shady, it probably will be.

    I really like how some of these stories are not the typical catfishing horror stories or a date gone bad to the date being malicious. They clearly have two people meeting up and having something unsettling happen while they're on their date as in Story 1 and 3. I also really like how these were all told in third person rather than first person for a change of pace. Bravo Chilling Scares! Great video.

It doesn't usually end well for couples whose relationships are solely based on that, but it sounds like there was plenty of chemistry there behind it. I think the reason for that bond is seeing each other so vulnerable, you see the real person and how they react when truly scared. It's a glimpse that not a lot of people get to see. We all have our masks, it's harder to maintain when nearly messing your pants in fear. You are sharing something so impactful and life changing, and if it's just the 2 people who experience the event together, you have a sense that nobody else could possibly understand. It's kind of romantic really.

    Abe running away when Dani told him to was kind of a wimp move. When she lunged at the guy & knocked him over he should've looked for a weapon on the ground like a rock & attacked the guy. Just running off leaving her behind was just ugh even if she told him to. But im glad they have a happy ending & got married. Dani a real one 💯

    irl dating isn't that much safer unless you knew the person from before (co workers, introduced by a friend/family of yours, etc.) and even then the person could still be lying...Meeting someone new is always a potential danger no matter the situation.
