I had a very brief encounter with a murderer when I was 19. I was home from college for the summer and working at a local grocery store. I live in a very small town, so murders are quite rare. One day, a local guy and his son were fishing in a pond when they came across a human hand washed up on the shore. The police were called and they dredged the pond, finding two entire dismembered bodies. It caused quite a stir in the community. About a week later, I had a guy come through my line at the store. He stuck out to me because he was extremely rude and angry. The woman with him seemed worried. A couple days later, the police arrested the man who committed the murders. His picture was in the newspaper and as soon as I saw it, I recognized the rude customer. According to the article, the three were cooking meth together when something came up that made him kill the other two. When police started investigating, he kidnapped his wife and kids. They were all found in a tent in the desert outside of town. The man was taken alive and the wife and kids were fine. It was weird to me knowing that I'd said, "Have a nice day" to a guy who had days before killed and cut up two people.

If you find yourself in the middle of the woods, hidden while hunting, and see a man trying to bury a body, you should stay still. Not only is running off a bad idea because you could be followed, but you're certain to be noticed. If he let the killer bury the body, the police likely could've got evidence to link to the killer. Of course you should run if you're spotted, but if not, just wait an hour or two for him to leave and call the cops. This story is probably fiction but it's still worth noting.

i’m late here, binging this channel.. i mean exactly though, i know this isnt a good generalization but we have to think that the suspect is already out of their mind and depending on how mentally ill they could be. they could already be anxious or nervous while burying a body. i dont even know how people stay in the middle of the woods with cabins n stuff, at least in this day n age. seems like a setup for a paranoid person like myself

I had seen someone run through the apartment complex so I called it in. The dispatcher got the info but went as far to say there was no active search going on. I'm thinking to myself "Really? One day after the killings, she and her friend were hiking at the park, and they heard a rustling off the trail, to which one remarked with caution it might be the killer. I see some people sharing murderer encounter stories and i have a brief one. And not scary. Maybe just me being a bit too curious and not thinking.
I was working in a supermarket like 12 years ago. I also smoked and took the train to and from work. One day after a long morning shift i left work and was smoking a cigarette on the platform waiting for my train home. A disheveled looking guy saw me smoking and starting walking towards me, and i knew what he wanted without asking so i started rolling a cigarette for him before he even asked me. He asked for a cigarette and i laughed and said "don't worry, i figured" and finished rolling the cigarette and handed it to him. He thanked me and asked for a lighter and he stood beside me while we both smoked. To break the silence, i asked him how he was, and he laughed and said he'd just got out of prison. Without thinking, i just blurted out "holy shit, what were you in prison for?", and he turned to me sharply with a really serious look and said "you _never_ ask a guy why he's been to prison.". And i was like "oh.. ". Honestly i just didn't think. I'm into true crime and psychology so i was just curious and he was out so i figured he could talk about it. But anyway, we went quiet for like 10 seconds, and without looking at me he said "i killed a pedophile who lived near me a long time ago." And i was like "wow how'd you know he was a pedo? Why didnt you tell the police?" He said "i just knew, and the police wouldn't do anything at the time cos there was nothing to prove it. So i dealt with it myself." And then i didnt know what to say. If he was telling the truth then I'd have maybe commended him but i didn't know if it was true. The train came and he thanked me again for the cigarette and walked further up the carriage. Never saw him again.
I didn't feel any aggression from him. Like i didn't think he was aby danger to me or anything. But that's my real life encounter with a professed murderer. I couldn't help but think i was a bit dumb for asking why he went to prison in the first place. Felt a bit bad for getting him to talk about it. Still, i find it interesting.

I actually had a encounter with a murderer more than 20 years ago when i was 18. I was walking along a highway in NSW Australia & a car pulled up , he asked where i was headed & if i was ok & from the jump i had a bad gut feeling so i very calmy said "trying to get away from my physco boyfriend, hes following me". The man sort of raised his eyebrows and slowly got out of the car and stood near me & looked down the highway & there were no cars, he turned to me with a sinister smile & said "i dont see anyone, looks like youre alone, why don't you get in my truck & ill give yiu a ride", i stepped back & replied it was fine & i didn't want him to be involved because if by chance my boyfriend saw me getting into the truck, hed instantly accuse me of cheating and most likely kill us both. The man was taken aback but stepped towards me, i stepped back literally onto the highway, he insisted i get in his truck and started reaching for my arm, not in a swift motion though but fast enough to scare me. I couldn't exactly run as i had nowhere to really run & he'd easily catch me in his truck. I again, but very sternly this time told him i was fine, as i knew my partner was following me & was threatening to shoot me and didnt want a "innocent" person to be caught in the crossfire. He got agitated & continued looking down the highway, insisting my boyfriend would of been here by now if he'd followed me & to get in his truck and he would take me home, this time in a demanding tone, he told me he would "protect me" if my partner tried to hurt me. I said "well do you have a gun to protect me with? Because my partner currently has a sawnoff shotgun & is literally going to murder me" he seemed a bit sceptical so i decided to bank on the fact he didn't know what a healed gunshot woujd looked like as i have a 45cm scar across my stomach from a tragic accident that happened to me when i was younger, i pulled my shirt up so he could see the bottom of my stomach & said "he's shot me before with a pistol, this is the result, when i say he's going to kill me and you if he sees me get in your car i ABSOLUTELY MEAN IT". He actually looked shocked & was sort of deciding what to do, he started walking back towards the passenger door which was closest to me, grabbed a big ASS fucking hunting knife & said "ill take my chances". By some sheer stroke of luck a car was coming in the distance, close enough for me to make out the colour only just so with the best acting ive EVER done i screamed "FUCK, OH MY FUCKING GOD ITS HIM! GO BEFORE HE SEES YOU" and ran about 50m up the highway screaming like i was terrified & sort of hunched over. At the same time the man ran to his truck, got in & i mean SQUEALED out of there. That car i said was my physco boyfriend actually pulled over because they must of seen me being a young girl, was crying and screaming on the side of the highway. It was a old couple, they were worried for me after i told them what happened and they dropped me home, usually id NEVER get in a strangers car but it seemed better than the man coming back. I got home safe, as tou can probably tell i didn't have a physco boyfriend looking for me at all, i was walking along the highway back home because i didn't wanna cut through the forrest, i genuinely had a really bad feeling about the man which made the hairs on my body stand, i couldnt defend myself against him so it seemed like the best lie to go with. I was shaken up about this for a while until one day i saw a news story "Australian serial killer Ivan Milat arrested" and showed his picture, it was him. He killed i think 10 or so people and dumped their bodies in the Belangalo State Forrest in NSW Australia, guess which forrest i was walking beside on the highway? THE BELANGALO STATE FORREST.

Can't actually confirm that I've encountered a murderer, but when you work rideshare, any time someone asks you if that camera is recording them, and then you hear shuffling behind you, you sit there wondering if they were planning on hurting you... I get the feeling that extends to other jobs. "Hey is that a camera?" "Yes" [awkward silence]

When I was about 10 years old I went to a small race track near my house. My friends and I knew how to sneak in. Anyway, my friends needed to use the restroom so I stood outside and waited for them. This really creepy dude came up to me and said “nice race, isn’t it?” Now I was a pretty naive kid but the looks of this guy really freaked me out. I didn’t say a word, I just got the hell away from that freak. About 5 years later the serial killer John Wayne Gary was all over the news for killing little boys. When I saw his face on TV I knew it was the same freak that tried to talk to me that night. I couldn’t believe it - couldn’t believe that I actually dodged that psycho. I thank God for getting me out of there.

I had a run in with a murderer. Got into a two on two fight when I was 15 in a church parking lot none the less. Guy named Kenny who was supposed to be fighting my friend Jayson one on one pulled a gun after his friend jumped in which was my entrance into the fight. We got the better of the two and as we were leaving Kenny gets off the ground and pulls out a .38. Takes two shots at me since I was closer and the second shot went through my left elbow back to front. He ditched the gun in bushes by the church when the police stated to come. I told the police where it was located and they did almost absolutely nothing to retrieve it. Before the stitches had healed in my arm, 12 days later Kenny shoots and killed a man 2 towns over. It was the same .38 revolver.

I like the videos better when they are real life dash cams, doorbell cams, forest footage etc. BUT this guys voice is amazing! His voice narration has so much inflection and suspense in it that I actually enjoy the story without the video to accompany it.
