They could have put a hardness coating on the grade 2 titanium, which scratches easily. Zelos does it for 1/3rd of the price Also they´ve put a male end link on the bracelet, rather than a female end link, so will wear bigger than it needs to on the titanium bracelet. Spent a long time on the lume, but missed a couple of smaller points which would keep the watch looking better longer and improve wearability.
A couple of years ago CW was selling a C60 Elite 1000 (that’s 3 times the WR of Lumiere) for roughly $1100 USD on discount, also titanium, also an escape valve. It was 15mm thick, but it did everything for less money and it was arguably less garish than this thing. But whatever floats your boat. CW is raising prices on skinned off-the-shelf Selitta movements. Hardly a fair comparison with Longines or Tudor.
The Tudor just has a Kinissi movement inside it, just like a Brietling. What Longines just has is a dressed up ETA inside it. The fact the Swatch group own both Longines and ETA might be helping here.
I am waiting for mine, so excited! Got my c60 bronze few months ago, can’t even describe how good the watch is. Expecting nothing less from this one! I am a bit stressed tho, never got a metal bracelet before, measured my wrist and it was 17cm, so ordered a 17,5cm bracelet, hopefully it gonna fit 🥶🤞🤞🤞
Don't get put off by what your told. C/W have a very good after sales department. I have just returned a watch with a mechanical problem. It was sorted free of charge in very good time, no fuss or cost to me. I've been collecting C/W now for 5 years and have never had a problem. I have returned watches for service also with no problems. The only thing they lack is a polishing service that said I have had 2 watches recased so are basically new for much less than Rolex would charge for a case polish.
Their customer service absolutely sucks. I bought a watch and tried to return it. 5 emails in 4 weeks and no response. I had to sell it privately for a loss. Worst customer service ever for a company who makes very nice watches for a fair price. This might prevent me from buying again unless they provide me a discount for the poor customer service .
@@theONEwatches713 yes, but not this particular one. It’s a really nice watch, but at $2500, it’s competing against much more established brands, and frankly nicer watches that have much better resale value. Longines is one example.

A lot of assumptions. My cousin (in law) has a pelagos so I’m quite familiar with it. It’s an interesting watch with really great lume but kind of one note like a lot of monochromatic divers. Please understand a Cosc Sellita 300 is not a cheap movement, ask most watchmakers repair people how good this movement is. It’s used as the base for IWC watches and many others. The ETA 2892 was the base for previous generations Omegas . If a Sellita 200 basic costs about £100 this movement will be upwards £400 . It’s the King of mass market movements.
Ok. You are wrong. The lume numerals look plasticky cheap, and the logo puts that on very clear display. This watch should be their lowest price point watch, not their second most expensive offering to the Bel Canto.
Agree - it looks like one of the “Ice Watch” watches you can get for £50! Christopher Ward really insulting their customer base here with their revised pricing.
Best watch under 2k? Perfect watch? Dude, the watch was just released like two days ago, so how could you possibly come up with those opinions already? Selitta movements are prone to the helicopter rotor issue, so no watch containing that shoddy movement is perfect. Also, most grades of Selitta aren’t much to look at, so why they put an exhibition caseback on this watch is beyond me. With that said, I love the lume block indicies, the size proportions, and the titanium case (even though they copied Tudor).
I get what you’re saying. I’m just posing questions and thoughts to discuss. I’m taking it that you’re a no on is it a perfect watch. Where are you at with the “best” under $2k watch? Can be a little above.

I really want this watch. I've been looking at a few of their watches, and this one has shot to the top of the list for me.
It’s unique but in a cool way.
Same here!
I got to hold one of these. It blew me away. Love it.
That’s great to hear. Which is your favorite color?
I only saw the Orange in the metal, not a color I normally go for but it was amazing. I’d probably choose the dark gray myself though.
Nice review. This is a good addition to the CW catalog. I don’t understand all the hate in the comments. Perhaps some (xxx) fanboys are triggered!
Thank you. People like to hate. Is what it is hahaha.

From what I’ve read these scratches can be removed relatively easily with a certain kind of eraser, unlike the scratches in steel.
