- Twisted Metal Small Brawl playthrough, Most people would be excited once they finally unlock Trapper, but he isn't that great like the boss you fight. When you first start playing as Trapper you will realize that you are the same size as everyone else. Your armor is similar to Hammerhead's but it should be higher than Darkside's. His special is the most disappointing part of Trapper, you will notice his monkey attack is much smaller than the boss Trapper and does hardly any damage. I did find out you get the boss Trapper special when you play on Minigolf Mayhem. This could be a glitch but it makes the special a lot better. Really weird they seemingly also nerf his special, cause his boss variant definitely shoots more than one monkey. Good run and would love to see a convoy truck like this be in another TM game.
Yea Trapper was a cool vehicle. I wouldn’t mind if he made an appearance in the show even.

Yeah it sucks. I did game shark to see the differences and made a vid. Otherwise, the cpu version could be one of the better vehicles in the game for both armour, speed and special. But, since we're stuck with the lesser version, there is a couple of things worth mentioning.
Like most specials, a frozen character gets snapped out of it. His special multiplies the monkeys but needs room for the rest to hit so you have to use up a lot of meter to keep the enemy frozen while holding still.
The other interesting aspect of the special is that it multiplies if it hits a wall and starts coming back to you to multiply. But you still need a lot of room for the monkeys to actually do their job and hit things. It's more of a crowd special than anything and everybody is always on the move.
But but Goodrich made him! How can he be Bad!? 😋
Bro HOW did you unlock him?? Online, every cheat site told me to beat the game on hard with every character, and I did that several times. I actually beat the game with every character on EVERY difficulty because I got confused as to why he wasn't unlocked. I'm 30 years old and I still hold a grudge about this dilemma from years ago.
So I assume you are missing Mime one of the secret characters. You also don’t need to play on hard lol. Medium works just fine but you have to beat it with every single character.
@@BigSlick98 Mime is my most played character, actually my favorite car in the entire series of the twisted metal games. That can't be it. Also got Darkside, every difficulty, every character, trust me I was very passionate about this conquest for days and days.

Now that I have the boss codes, I play as them over the gimpt versions. Boss Trapper is great, and his sprcial does a lot of damage. Boss Piecemeal is cool to play as too. I tried playing with both bosses in the same fight playing as Boss Trapper with Boss Piecemeal as an enemy with the other characters, a couple of times there's a glitch where the weapons don't fire. It did that a few times, but not every time I tried. But it's also fun if you battle both bosses in the same fight with the other characters. It's so much fun on hard mode.

I tried these mods on both DuckStation awhile ago and on my CFW PS3 a few days ago, they work great on both. All of those codes need to be active for Piecemeal's wheels to work. I have Boss Piecemeal set as CPU 1 and Boss Trapper as CPU 2. When I tried it on DuckStation, there would be times where both bosses could be in the same fight with no glitching. However, you can play as Boss Trapper up to Minigolf Mayhem. But after all of the contestants are destroyed, the game either freezes or crashes. I think it's the same with Boss Piecemeal. But there's a hacked version of the game from the TM Small Brawl modding community that allows the boss versions in the tournament to be swapped with the unlockable versions so that you can play as the Bosses all the way through.

Trapper is overrated, I just unlocked him forgot how disappointing he was lol
the one the game give us, yeah. Now if we talk about tha boss one is a different story my friend
i can't believe how bad the playable version of Trapper is. My disappointment was palpable when i finally unlocked him and played as him.

@@ThunderShot66 Thry should have kept it the way he is as a boss. I did find that when you are on Minigolf Mayhem as Trapper you get the boss special.
