    My sweet baby Delgado (European Doberman Pinscher) has these and I love them! I started using them when he was a puppy in training and we’ve grown to love them!! AMAZING quality!!

    I have the one Tigris one you do for my Shorthair. It's nicely made but she also has always seemed uncomfortable in it. I have been looking for a durable harness that is a lot more comfortable for her. Thanks for the review, this looks great! Also the "if you have to ask why you need do not pet patches on your dog then these patches are for you". Omg yes, so accurate. 😂

    The reason I like the tactical stuff for my dog is because A. It’s practical, and durable. Why spend all that money on something to fall apart? I also like the idea of my dog being able to have pouches to carry some small things for certain situations. Hiking being one, emergencies being another. We have to pack emergency bags for tornados or hurricanes to keep where we take shelter, the harness with pouches seems like a good way to help with some that. Also our dogs have been trained and we were told a harness can help the dog focus because it’s in “working”
    Mode. Working with our dogs to keep them well trained and focused is a plus for everyone. B) it matches. Lol seems silly but I like the matching collar/leash/lead/harness look... a lot of the cutesy stuff doesn’t match. If my dog is going to have one set of gear I want it all to match at least.

    Jessica, Nice Harness. I don’t give a crap if it’s Tactical Gear for dogs or not, if it works that’s all I need to know. Lol if you have to ask these Do Not Pet are for you. I always told people No if they asked to pet my dog. She was working even if it was just a walk. See you on the next one. 😉

    We love our K9TG harness so much, and the handle once I tried it out fully finally after like a year of having it, is the best out of any handle I've tried ever. I am beating myself up for not trying it out sooner, in fact. Lol. My defender harness was customized with side D rings on the back and a pull strap but I don't even use that anymore now that I have realized how great the actual standard handle is for my needs. As far as 'tactical' gear being used on many different dogs of different jobs and or even pets and adventure dogs, I see zero problem with it whatsoever. It does not convey a sense that the dog is a military dog to those using common sense and gear that is made for military and law enforcement is known for its durability and high quality. It makes much more sense to spend money on something that can take a real beating and hold up for years, then to spend money on something of lower quality etc. Side note: it is so ironic this popped up on my Google discover page, even though it's from mine months ago, and it ended up even being black multicam, because that's the pattern I'm looking to get next, and I've been contemplating weather to have the custom Velcro on the chest piece again like I did with my OD green one or not, because I don't want to hide too much of the pattern since that's the whole point of buying a patterned one is to see the pattern. Lol. So it was nice to be able to see a video of the black multicam on the defender at many angles and close up and without the enhancements of photo editing etc. There are also not very many black multicam defender harness photos floating around, so it was just very nice to have this pop up when it did. Gotta love irony, sometimes. Lol.

    Very cool looking harness, as long as Grim likes it and it does what it needs to do I don't care if it's tactical gear or whatever. We all just want good products for our pets and that looks like it's what ya needed :)

    My boy needs some of those patches. People always ask to pet Hank and most of the time I’m ok with it, but I have to tell them “don’t put your face in his”. Why do people feel the need to do this? (Almost always girls) Get right in his face.
    He’s not aggressive, but you never know.

    • @thedawghouse4674

      THATS A HUGE ISSUE AND IT MAKES NO SENSE! I see it too! If they ARE allowed to touch my dogs the try and kiss them. It’s so bad, even parents almost tell their kids to try and kiss the damn dog... NO. And yeah aggressive or not, it’s rude physical behavior on the dogs mind

    I have patches on all of my dogs harness. 1 harness dose say do not pet because she has PTSD and it terrified of strangers. While the other 2 dose say ESA on them. My husband doesn’t like strangers walking up to him. So by having a vest on are dogs with patches makes people think they are working. Tend to leave us alone while we walk are dogs around the neighborhood. Or if we go to a pet friendly store.

    That definitely looks like the nicest harness I’ve seen so far. Been researching these for weeks making my head spin cause there always seems to be some issue with each one. The only issue I see with this one is the price, but looks worth it. Coyote brown or the arid multicam always looks great on German shepherds. My German Shepherd looks just like yours. Thanks!

    Great video. Tactical id the way to go. I take my dog out hiking and tactical harness are the best. PS You've don't need a collar and a harness at the same time. Its like me wearing suspenders and a belt. Its redundant. Beautiful Sheppard. Thanks for sharing

      I have a GSD and use both a web harness and a collar. the collar has the cobra buckle and web is very good. I use 2 incase something snaps and with a good leash attached to each I still have control. this dog gets lose and bites a zombie my a$$ could be sued for thousands just for the high cost of the nedical mafia and some.

    K9 Tactical Gear now has a “traditional” and an “elite” defender harness. Which model is this. Also would you recommend the white lettering or the reflective gray (which I assume is the color on his collar)? Is the printing holding up?

    Nice & simple. Thank you. Question, Is that the everyday harness? Does it lean a little to one side & does the adjustable part rub near the armpit? Thank you.

    My mate made one just like this using an old seat belt, 2 x D-rings and tactical belt clips. Cost him no more than £20.00 goes to show what a bit of marketing and promotions can do to bump up the price.

    I'm in the UK it's hard to find a nice harness with patches and the julius k9 isn't a Y front so our boy tends to not get comfortable in it. Thinking of getting one of those tactical harnesses like the last one you showed despite the cost I want something that isn't going to break

So could you make a Q&A about him or a different song of yours? Just a question

    • @thedawghouse4674
      @thedawghouse4674  3 роки тому

      What are you trying to get at? lol it’s a tactical harness... the handle is for agitation work and/or a quick way to grab the dog.

    • @Inciliusnebulifer
      @Inciliusnebulifer 3 роки тому

      They claimed the handle was good for guide work for service dogs( think guide dogs) this handle wouldnt do shit to allow the disabled handler room enough to use the dog for guide work( those tend to be long rigid handles that attach at the side of the shoulders to provide good feedback between the handler and guide dog) I should know I use an actual guide harness with my service dog to guide me safely thru public. All this handle on this harness does is allow you to grab onto the dog and it being this short would mean youd probably have to lean over the dog to do so and this would throw off the handlers balance. This may be a great harness for protection etc dogs but it certainly wont help you with guiding

    • @thedawghouse4674
      @thedawghouse4674  3 роки тому

      Wow you’re super charming. So as I stated in the video, SOME people I’ve seen use it for some form of guide work, the fact that people actually can also use a leash attached to a collar as a FORM of guide work, STILL accounts for what I’m talking about in this particular video about this particular harness. To further reiterate what I’m talking about in my video, when using your service dog to do a task like for example, “go find -someone-“ or “find exit”, it has been noted that using a leash attached to a collar or a cheap fleece handmade “handle” attached to a harness to hold on to WHILE THE DOG IS GUIDING you, it’s still considered “guide work”... I mean, are you here to look cool cuz you have a service dog? Cuz normally someone who actually needs a service dog isn’t putting that kind of energy out 🤷🏻‍♀️. I should know, The dog in this video is my service dog lol, oh and With the years of experience training legitimate service dogs, for multiple people with severe physical disabilities, I might have an idea what a “guide dog” is... so remember to think before speaking, and maybe have all your informational ducks in a row before you try “schooling” someone. It’s a new year Rebecca, let’s work on that 👏🏻 new👏🏻 you👏🏻
