Hollingsworth: dutifully explaining all of the gear and it’s purpose
Me, bawling: _They have tiny little doggy shoes???_ 😭😭
Wow, I was an Air Force K9 handler in the 70’s. All we had back then was a leash, choke chain, muzzle, brush or comb, and a canteen/w cup for water. Even this has gone high tech.
@@lawabiding9152 not back in my day. I’m pretty sure they didn’t do all the things back then that they do now
There should be a Military and Animal Insider at this point.
And a Japan one. I swear 90% of the "Most expensive" videos are Japanese products
Military and the army in general falls under business , did you not see the price for dose dog boots not even mine cost that much , leave the government to vaste tax money ,
the doggles are looking so dope.
Your comment was highlighted to me. I felt that I was suppose to ask if I could boldly pray for you for something through our Lord Jesus Christ? 🙏 Also felt the Lord Jesus Christ knocking personally on your heart today to let Him enter in as Lord and Savior. He favors you.
It looks like those are a brand called Rex Specks. Doggles look more like sunglasses, not like those goggles. They are pretty badass. My dog has some for when we hike in the desert.
4 out of the first 5 objects he took out of the bag were toys for the good boy. I am pleased.
I didn't know what I expected but definitely not tactical doggy boots. Also whoever named it doggles thank you
Producer: “Do the dogs like to be brushed?” Wow. Really excellent journalism. Really. Give that guy a raise.
It's not something most people probably think of when they think of military working dogs.
its a fine question its a serious subject asking if the dogs like to be brushed invites a little levity into the subject
A lot of those MWD that are used in apprehension HATE being touched. Some don’t mind but aren’t fans and others love it.
Of course the dogs teeth needs to be brushed, He was just trying to get into the subject of the dogs oral hygiene.
PVC pipe as a reward? Damn this dog doesn't need much
Most dawgos don't. Ropes, twisted water bottles, plastic jars, etc. Even my cats only play with milk bottle seals and plastic sticks vs anything fancy.
Its to reward the dog with something less stimulating than a Kong. The pipe is still reenforcing the MWD but it’s less desirable than a Kong. You can train tasks better that way in some situations.
@@BebbaDubbs it’s about being rewarded, not being rewarded with a specific item you know
Plus with the pvc pipe, you can put things inside it for training... for example, you can put drugs inside it, the doggo will not be able to get at the drugs, because its inside a plastic tube... like, the pipe is the reward and toy, and if you want to get it to focus on a certain scent, put it in the pipe, play with the doggo, then send it in to find stuff that smells the same... simple, but effective
@@odst2247 variable rewards actually motivate the dog to work harder
The most tactical, hardcore military term I have ever heard? The Doggle.
HAHA yes can't sat the specific brand Rexx Specs otherwise that's government endorsement to the company.
That dog has a job... while im here watching a dog have a job
Time to train myself walking with 4 limbs. Cant let dogs take our jobs.
@@abouttime2569 I'd wear a muzzle for a little bit for some cash for real.
The only job I would do in the military.
Thanks for sharing and good luck to the doggos and handlers!
@@boohere2 They wouldnt actually bag it, unless they are in a situation without the risk of gunfire. Even still, I doubt they'd pick it up.
@@boohere2 it’s not like they are gonna be on other peoples property when they are deployed, and if they were I think the last thing they’d care about is poop
same with everyone else. sorta like the military work that guarantees a future career like airforce or navy lmao but LOVE THE MACHINE
$130 for a collar?!
$70 for a flexi leash?
This is what lobbying does, contractors pay politicians millions, so they let them sell $130 collars to the military. And the military doesn’t care, because it’s taxpayer money anyway.
There is no way in hell this collar is worth $130. A friend of mine makes heavy duty collars and leashes and even a set of both doesn’t come anywhere near $100
Agreed. You can buy a cobra buckle collar with a handle on Amazon for $30. $130 is absolutely ridiculous.
Yeah that exact flexi leash on amazon is $55 not $70 lol
Edit: doggles for $40. A good pair of rex specs for dogs is about $70-80. So wonder if they have a deal with the military.
This is too cuteee, he's so serious presenting dog toys, leashes and little shoes lmao
All dogs should be wearing Doggles. On a motorcycles, head out the window or anytime there’s a full on blast of air. Well done! Bless you! Thank You for protecting me! ❤️🇺🇸❤️
The dog boots and doggles are so cute! Dogs be struttin 🐕
Seriously one of the hardest working dudes in the community!
Awwh, They also carry dog boots. Melts my heart.
I couldn't love this dog more. It's super cute and fighting for the safety and freedom of humans. 😭❤️
These are very special dogs with very special training. They are working dogs.
These dogs are amazing. What trust!
I appreciate the handler explaining the choke chain very well. It’s not mean. Kicking the dog is far worse to the dog than flicking the leash with your wrist causing the choke chain to “pop” kinda little a gentle smack on the shoulder to get your friends attention when they’re too distracted to react to verbal. The flat collar won’t do this unless a dog is trained (usually) because dogs don’t care about flat collars. It’s just not enough to break their distraction. But the leash poop is to correct the dog. Leash pressure is to guide the dog. Like lifting up just enough to put a small bit of pressure on the collar and the dog sits it. No more tension. Pull a different way. Dog lays down. No more tension. Dog is in heel pulling forward. Tension. Still pulls forward “no” pop heel. Dog slows and gets back in the grove with you. That’s how it’s suppose to be done. It’s not beating the dog. It’s light pressure and correction’s equivalent to the severity of their disobedience (which is choosing to ignore what you’ve taught. NOT being unable to complete the task because they’re confused. That’s on you) for example pulling fairways in heel. Small pop. Running after a car. Big pop. Why? One is minor. The other gets you killed. One is hey you’re messing up. The other is don’t ever do that again. And it doesn’t hurt the dog because there’s never a lot of force even in harsher corrections. It’s more a speed thing. You should know about how tight the leash should feel. And then it’s just speed and a slight increase in pressure.
He has a very relaxing voice.
2:50 that was just cute, the little boots for the dog
I love the poo bags & this guy's overalls 🥰 bless all their hearts, be safe 😊
In other words, these are all tactical attachments for the tactical assault dog.
All that’s missing is a picatinny rail and ACOG
You would be surprise some dogs get hard helmets with camera mounted on the top!
The doggles are the best piece of equipment he has both literally and verbally.
Awesome info 🤩👏🏼 need more of these military content

Dogs and tactical gear
awesome! i have a well trained belgian malinois from a police breeder in colorado & ive ended up with kinda the same kit sans like the goggles haha. i love this video, this guy, & his carhartts!
They always ask who’s a good boy. But never how’s the good boy?
Good doggo always gets a reward
Thank you for sharing
Great video
Definitely getting me a pair of doggles.
This is one of the coolest and also critical jobs in the military hand down. I wish I knew this was an mos when I enlisted.
So its really important that everything is *taken care of*
Really well presented, thank you to the handler!
125 for a collar damn lol and those tactical doggy boots r cool
The boots are a brand called RuffWear. They are great for walking your dog in a hot environment. I live in Arizona. My dog wears her boots every time we are outside if it's over 80°.
the clasps were developed to be used in aircraft seat belts. they're not the normal stuff civilians have.
That collar is essentially the same as the belts many soldiers are using, but smaller. Those belts are around $150
I hope the dogs like doing their jobs! It might be like fun to them, kind of like sled dogs and how they LOVE to run
It's honestly more low-tech than I expected. Like I was expecting some amazing leash with a special clasp or something.
Amazing how a dog on a leash has always been so effective for hundreds of years. Never touch running system
@@phoneusandfroboof829 flexi is a pretty solid brand and i wouldn't go so far as say its expensive, just premium. I've seen much worse cost much more
doggles might be the cutest thing ive ever heard
omg so cute with the goggles and earmuffs
Never thought a miltary dog's loadout would be so tactical
I didn't realize I have all the tool kit for a military doggo. Lol
Come on let’s be real if you’re at war you know damn well you’re not taking the time out of your day to pick up some dog shit you know those bags never get used😂
Its very important to not leave tracks... They can definitely come in handy in some situations
@Ramesh Ranjan Uh . . . what are you on? Yes, they do. Working dogs were an incredibly important asset for the US military in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
these dogs operate most of the time in us bases, so unless you want shit everywhere you bet they pick up
Yea, but if you're on base, like you are most of the day... (or working in a building or airport or something)
Not in active combat, but everywhere else? You don’t want a soldier walking up to you because he stepped in your dog’s poop on base.
I was stationed with MA1💪🏾
Nothing better than working dogs
Good job guys, 341st/MWDC for life 👏.
This is the same as my K9 SAR load out. Minus the retractable lead, PVC and trach kit.
This is the Mos that im shooting for. I grew up loving and training dogs. I am currently working on my next big training project for my dog. Its a highly competitive job. Not all can do it. I am just finishing school and soon will be really to join up.
Dog boots 😭 ❤️❤️❤️
The dog looks so handsome with those Doggles on. ❤
The dogs are adorable with the doggles on

BTW The gear bag he used was the 511 Rush 72
"What's that piece of dog handling equipment for?"
"It's for when we need to handle the dog."
Cool!
Bro when he took out the dog gloves I died and then he took out the dog goggles. I was dying🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny, until a bomb goes off and doggo has his safety Goggles and booties to survive metal and glass shards🤪
@@Blue-Dog shut up! You can't name the last time a bomb went off and a military dog was there utilizing it's doggy equipment 😡 the truth is more people die from car accidents and house fires, yet the military spends huge amounts of money on training for imaginary scenarios that have nothing to do with the real civilized world, these war mongers are all highly funded lunatics!
My 2 favorite things: military and dogs

Okay I no longer feel awkward for owning "too much" situational dog gear.

Doggos are the best
I love rectal thermometers
Super dog, space dog.
Wow! I thought Guide Dogs gear kit was pretty intense. Are usually have to carry a fanny pack or backpack with me to carry my Guide Dogs things I can’t imagine having to haul all that around.
God take care of our military dogs and the handlers
These dogs are amazing soldiers, I hope they can retire once they have served their duties and can go home and be adopted by their handlers and not get left behind like old equipment.
I do still love that some militaries gives out Kevlar vests to its dogs
Long nails on dogs actually hinder their movements. If you walk your dog enough on pavement/concrete you won't need to trim their nails.
More K9/dog content please.
He gives a lot of various different answers
On to another episode of: What's in my bag? Military Doggos edition
Dog got drip
Some of these items seemed super redundant. A 30' leash as well as a retractable 30' leash, multiple collars, two water bowls. Why does the dog need two water bowls? The med kit items all made perfect sense, but I would try to reduce a few redundancies in the other bag. Doggles were definitely the coolest item.
the dog has two bowls, one for water, one for food....
what a wonderful discovery you've just learned.
@@o0xTHEcoPlayerx0oI thought the same thing, but he specifically refers to them as water bowls (plural), and talks about putting water in both of them. I'm glad to help you discover something today as well ;)
