I remember buying a '63 Dodge before I left for Vietnam in August of 1967 for my new wife. She totaled it before I got home. Same color with the dash button shifter. Paid $1100 at a used car lot.
Hey Jay, I like the car a lot. Not too keen on the tires and wheels. If I bought it, that would be the only thing I would do to it. Other than that it's a true winner !
@twobeerjohn...Those earlier slant 6's were known for reliability. the later ones, like Mom had, not so great... Smog equipment. And, Honda came with the 1975 Civic, the first CVCC. The story goes that Mr.Honda came to USA, saw how we were dealing with Government restrictions, went back to Japan, and told his engineers to build an engine w/o such restrictions. Japan was on a roll. Thanks for the memories.
Holy Moses, this awsome car, from the batcave comes this racecar moves fast 🏁 thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️ 💎 😎
Did you nitic that the car never shifted? He's driving it around in 3ed gear. It has a manual valve body, so you need to shift each time yourself, both up and down.

That's the tires and wheels it came with. What would be your choice of Wheels?
@@jaygrams5046 Jay I would give it just a little more sporty look in the tires and wheels only.
I don't know, maybe BFG's and some chrome rims?!!
NO!!! The wheels give it character, thats how it was back in the day.
I had a 65 Plymouth Belvedere. Looked just like this. But I had a slant six 225.

Is this car similar to Captain Culpeppers car, of the Santa Rosita police dept.!
Culpepper was driving it's '62 stripped down Dart police package predecessor on his way to the big W lol
@@bullittcharger68 Thank you, very helpful!
Needs some dog dish hubcaps
Not a looker but you're paying a high price for a performance that was rare for a 1963 factory build.
👍💯😝💯👍
😁👌👍
So is that a titanium cross ram or an aluminum one?
I assumed it was cast iron
Non matching numbers-way over priced.
