I can tell you where that little dent you found came from, it came from a pop up canopy that wasn't properly weighted down and a gust of wind. I know this because that's my old car! :) It was a sweet car to have that's for sure. I only sold it a couple years ago and i already miss it lol.
It's not an original 340 Dart. I owned one in 1973. Purchased from the original owner. 340 Swingers had the Rally Gauges. It looked like it had a 7 1/4" rear, too. Basically, it's a poor clone job.
Sharp build! 340 upgrade gives plenty of thrust to the lightweight body. Except for the hood scoops, this could easily be a stop light "sleeper" at quick glance.
The faster versions of the big three had steel wheels with plain hub caps on wide tires. So it's not a sleeper. COPO and Yenko were the same wheel set up.
I would really enjoy having it in my garage. However i couldnt enjoy driving it for worry it it got scratched or dented. Find the same car in old door slammer condition and im ready to talk business.

Both Darts are absolutely perfect, but the green and white 71/72 GMC Shorty 4x4!! Com-on perfect!!!
