This arc breaks the 4th wall because Foxy used his noro noro beam to slow the pace down.
Nerdy´s suffering was more fun than the episodes
"I wish this canon arc was more like G8." - These two episodes are completely filler. There is not a single shot of it in the manga. 😅 And the same goes for the next two episodes.

@@sandro-nd6ir yeah, in the manga there is the boat race, groggy ball, and then straight to luffy vs foxy and that is it. robin never gets taken and there is never a second 3 coin davy fight. just one and done. wouldnt be surprised if the remake covers it in one episode lol (when they get this far of course)

Round 1 and 2 of this davey back fight were canon
Round 3 of this one is non-canon.
Round 1 and 2 of the next davey back fight was non-canon
Round 3 of the next one is canon.
it depends on what canon list you are going with. if he skipped to the last round of the second davey back fight there would be no explination of why robbin got taken as a foxy pirate. so while there are 3 davey back fights that are not Manga Canon, all 6 are Anime Canon.
As everyone's said, this was filler. And I assume you've watched the next couple episodes by now too...
There are 6 games in the anime. Games 3/4/5 are anime-only filler. Only games 1/2/6 are canon.
You can tell who watches the Toei anime instead of the manga based on if they hate LRLL. Its like if 4kids opened up a Japanese branch. Save us, WIT.
I like LRLL and I watched it in the anime. I just skipped the filler episodes, like 213 and 214
nah, i hate LRLL even by it's canon parts. it's Canonical Filler that may have been something that Oda was originally thinking of making a thing, only to scrap the idea going forward.

It gets worse. It won't get good until the 19-minute mark of 226. That's when the fun stuff starts. The rest of 226 might be the worst episode of One Piece ever.

lmao you need someone on the inside to help you skip filler. LRLL is already a canon filler arc, but its sooooo much worse when you have to watch actual filler that pads out the filler. This arc is supposed to be short and fun. It sucks when youre like this is just looney tunes bullshit. Like where did they even get a stadium filled with people lmaooo

it's like in mushoku tensei when episodes are called turning points, you know something is going to change big, so is that spoiler? i have never seen one person call it spoiler because it never tells you specifically what is going to change

Kinda surprised you actually watched these episodes. After the Groggy Ring it’s all filler until the final fight between Luffy and Foxy. I watched it my first time but honestly it’s just better to skip all this. Does nothing but slow down the story and it’s not even that entertaining.

I prefer the "Speeeeed!" approach. Put it on 2x (or more) speed and skip as much as you can.
These 2 episodes (as well as the next 2) are filler. These extra games just don't happen in the manga.

This is just my opinion but personally i skip any arc or parts that i dont't enjoy or feels like its dragging on so maybe you should too idk i don't think i really lost any imp detail by skipping especially early on filler arcs
Unlike the first 2 games these 2 eps were completely filler, nothing canon at all about this roller game lol in canon it's only 3 games, the boat race (but with one boat, only 3 participate, not the whole crew), groggy ring and what in the anime is the very last one. The anime adds a lot of filler to stretch it out.
It looks like you put out 219-226 for members already... ALl I can say is: Thank you so much. I was SO WORRIED we'd have to watch this travesty for another... fuck for another month.
