im only saying you will love big pops whitebeard ^^ well happy for now you in Jaya/skypia arc its realy fun to see the anime over you (im manga reader) its like me when i first read one pice thanks too you i think of reradeing it again ^^ sry german
fun fact: the scene where the galleon falls on the straw hats is literally the last scene ever dubbed by 4kids, as far as the 4kids version is concerned, ruluka island was the last arc ever made. so the fandom likes to joke about that in the 4kids universe, the straw hats fucking died crushed by a giant boat falling from the sky.
when this huge galleon falls in the manga, we get a double page spread of it overshadowing the Merry "adorned" with a quote that criminally misses from the anime * "Anything Humans can imagine is a possibility in reality" physicist Willy Karen*
I don't think that was the surname of the guy whose quote it was? But yeah, really cool and thematically important quote that's just entirely omitted 😥
Robin stealing that Eternal Pose from the monkeys is more important than you think. With Nami's log pose locked onto the sky island, they have no way to reach any other island. That could lead to shortages of food and water real quick.
I'll bet you can not wait to meet Whitebeard. 17:38 I think this is the first time we've ever seen Luffy this terrified. Also the delayed reactions from the other characters are funny as hell.
I am sure 5 or 10 people already mentioned this but the little subtle bit in this episode is great that Zoro finds an octopus and Sanji cooks said octopus for takoyaki
9:30 - wait, Netflix doesnt have the Eyecatchers??? omg, you have been missing out for a while now. the Eyecatchers change up every now and again, they started as early as Ep 1 and thankfully you've gotten to see the original Eyecatchers before they change out in the next Saga or so. there is one for every Crewmate, so enjoy them.
Just like how LA S1 ended with a credits scene of Smoker..wanna see S2 ending with the Big ship falling down, and maybe camera zooming into the Logpose after the big shock.
Hi Mikey! Nice reaction a ever! About Masira feels praised the real reason is that "salvage" in Japan, foneticly could be understood as "saru beji" (saru meaning monkey and beji meaning beautiful - in fact bijin more than beji).
I wasn't sure if it was going to be this arc, but I suspected as much. It may or may not have something to do with M&M's. 😉 That is a very vague hint. I'll explain it when we get there.😉
Yessir got this reaction today and another lol. I’ve been watching you and another creator that’s neck to neck in one piece lol. Sure I’m watching the same episodes again and again but I love the different opinions and of course reactions.
Skypiea is an interesting arc. I don't think any other arc has quite the same sense of adventure to it but fan reception on it has always been a bit mixed. Alabasta was just a really tough act to follow and later arcs are better and it's the point pacing issues start to creep so it can feel like a bit of a drag if it's just not quite to your flavor even it's otherwise a perfectly solid arc.
I think it's worth pointing out that Buggy is looking for the treasure of a certain Captain John. Whether he ever finds it, who this Captain John was... you'll find out in time.
These episodes give you a good idea of how Nico Robin fits into the crew: she usually stays quiet and in the background, either enjoying the chaos or performing small but essential tasks. When she does step forward, it's usually to offer information or advice. And she has a pretty morbid sense of humor. ;)
I have no idea what those filler episodes were about. I don't remember them at all. And those hints didn't help. 😅 It really was a long time ago since I watched it.😅 I have considered re-watching it all, but I'm also considering if I should just continue where I dropped off. Next up would be episode 533, but it's more than 10 years since I watched episode 532. 😅
You're probably a good few episodes farther into this by now, so it should be fine to say. You can tell why they had a feather in a locked chest once they reach the sky island. Ah, also important: Buggy was looking for Captain John's treasure on an island with a giant rock skull on it.
I do like that batch of filler episodes. I really enjoyed The Rainbow Mist. In an earlier episode they actually show Robin reading the book about it as an interesting segue. That is one of the _worst_ openings for spoilers IIRC. The world of One Piece is so diverse as far as terrains and, as you've already seen, people. It's a lot to take in the first time through. Since you're reacting, you do get to rewatch when you edit, that will help in the future.
very good choice not questioning, absurd things on One Piece XD , btw i sent you a link as information on the soundtrack you heard by jango and fullbody next to Hina on the marine ship you can check that short clip out, it's insane funny don''t spoil anything and is a One Piece short story ^^
Really? I’m up to episode 160 and so far I’m enjoying it. I’ve noticed some issues with pacing though where I felt two episodes could have been one though
I hear this a lot but I rarely see someone being one of those who hate it. I think just like with any arc it has some amazing parts and some slow parts, and most would agree with that. Never seen someone dislike the entire thing, that seems to be a myth that is spreading throughout OP reactors comment sections. There seems to be a comment there and there at most that says to skip it, but it's kinda obvious those are trolling.
@@MikeyVentureyeah well get used to it. One Piece rarely does filler so things do get stretched out. I don't know how many times I've fallen way behind just because watching week to week gets torturous. It's better when you can binge a bunch of episodes. The only saving grace is that Oda crams a lot into a single manga chapter so they can still get mostly solid episodes even when they're not adapting a ton of pages.
I am one of those who didn't particolary loved, back at the time, Skypiea arc, but simply because Oda foreshowed some thinghs thats hyped me soooo much , and then, all sudden, he switched scenario and that throw me off making me feel it, almost, like a macro filler arc.... I know it' s not the case, but it can t be helped. I am talking about the manga, so way too much time ago -_-"
@@tobiaswedin well i agree that on the internet is surely hard to tell. But most people i've met in real life tend to dislike it too. I'm from Brazil tho, maybe there's a difference in enjoyment around different countries
@@nireus2299 thank you!! I know that someone could argue that this isn't totally a spoiler, but it kind of is. Either way, Mikey says in almost every video that he doesn't want people spoiling him in the comments, and to not answer his questions unless he explicitly asks for an answer. You would think people would be more careful by now. Is it people just not caring? Or can they not help themselves? Do they forget his requests to not answer questions? Or are they just - and I'm sorry, this is a little rude - so empty-headed that they don't understand how this is a spoiler?

The ship falling from the sky is such a game changing moment. Next arc is going to be amazing! (Though I really could say that about every arc...)
In Japanese the word "salvage" is pronounced "SARUBEEJI" and since "SARU" means "monkey" you get all the monkey puns here.

the shortest saga in one piece c:
