Could you try running lossless scaling on the rog ally X? It would be interesting to see what you can do with this app on both portable and docked
Don't need that app anymore considering we have fluid motion frames
Can you run multiplayer split screen when its docked like dock it to a tv and play Madden or cod split screen
متى سيصبح متاح في الاسواق ؟
Been wondering how XDefiant would run on the ROG Ally X, if possible? Or any other popular FPS game. Thanks for the content @ETAPRIME :)
I have the non-extreme version and it runs great at 15+ TDP, so I'm very sure it can run that game flawless.
Why are the FPS censored man
Don't like because asus rwmove XGmobile port why not use same it with usb 4. I have xg mobile gpu n want use it. Maybe buy original ally
I love these Doc mode tests, especially with EGP use. I know thunderbolt five will change everything here in a few months, but I’m really curious to see if this ally X can handle a 4090 with its thunderbolt.
Are these numbers the same as the original ally since it's using the same CPU?
No because the X has more RAM
😨 did rog allow you to post these testing?
“Allow?”😂😂😂
@@andyackerman7123 ik i mean like the device isn't optimized yet right?
Can I play red redemption 2 and last of us 2 on rog ally X
Thank you
So none of this would be different to the base Ally right?
Make de review with games in 1080p, resolutions above that is a bonus not a set
All handhelds plays im 1080p or less to actually being playable, 1440p teste is just a bonus that sometimes can reach
🔥
Im using j5 create type c to hdmi and hdmi 2.1, but still get 60hz only..nedd help guys
and thats just the 780m with fast ram but you know.. sNaPdRaGoN is the new thing.. rofl
Snapdragon is ARM not meant for gaming
@@Ovo6477 they literally demoed it gaming though.
@@Seanjones1990have you seen the performance yet? There is a lot of frame drop because of poor optimization in early version ARM Windows. In future updates maybe snapdragon will be better, but knowing the efficiency it's no doubt ARM based cpu might be the bright future of the handheld gaming market.
@@VioletEva yeah performance is all over the place. emulation not helping. hence why none of the current chips will not beat the 780m
@@Seanjones1990 guess we will wait for strix point (this year) with 890m with promising 30% increase or strix halo (next year) with the rumored 40cu compared to z1 ex 12 cu also with 3.5 rdna update then 780m will be dethrone.
Def gonna get the ally x through Best Buy. I got the deck Oled and it’s great for what it is. It feels like a better switch, which is a good thing but I want all my games natively and I end up always being near a charger. Literally the only time I’ll be in windows is initial set up and then everything is in armory crate. People cry about windows and system updates yet every time I turn my deck on I’m going through updates and shader profile. Both are great but I don’t need both and the improvements just like on the deck Oled are enough for me on the ally x.
Why can't it do 30 watts for more than 2 minutes?
The main reason one buys a portable is to play away from tv or monitor and sit and play comfortable somewere else and who cares if it plays on a monitor
Ask to Nintendo and its successful switch 😉
Which dock is that?
Can you test the lossless scaling from steam if its working thanks
Definitely works but it takes some extra gpu strength but for sure it definitely works I use it on the extreme version
