Today I have made the "Real" Strawberry Milk that is popular in Korea.
I've made a version that takes quite a long time but which is really tasty, and a version that you could drink it right away but lacks in taste
If I am going to make it again, Even though they both have some pros and cons, I will make it with the version that takes more time.

the second version didn't taste as good cause all of the strawberries are down below in the bottle! xD plus boiling the strawberries after smashing them would make it sweeter and you won't even have to add sugar. I usually add honey though if the strawberry itself isn't that sweet.

Strawberries you get from the supermarket in the west taste different though, they’re not as good as the ones in countries like Japan or Korea. That could be a reason why the second version didn’t taste as good for you

FYI, strawberries in Korea are super soft, sweet, and full of flavor compared to those in the US so you'll probably have to alter the recipe if you live in the US.
Or pick in season at a farm

first cut strawberries in half
second mix it with sugar and put some lemon juice.
and put it in refrigerator during 2~3days
and mix it with milk
then you can enjoy this ' real strawberry milk '

이제이에요. 오늘은 sns에서 인기중인 리얼 딸기우유 만들어봤어요. 두가지버전으로 만들어봤는데 각각 장단점이 있는것같아요 :)둘다 괜찮은 방법이지만 저는 처음에 나온 방법이 훨씬 맛있었어요.

Yeah, depending on the ratio of milk to strawberry.
that’s what i thought bc for the second recipe there was so much milk that the strawberry part didn’t mix much with the milk at the top so there wouldn’t be much taste since the strawberry taste didn’t reach where they drank it from

I have a question...
Isn't the reason why the 2nd recipe lacks strawberry flavor because of the milk to strawberry ratio? There are more milk than strawberry syrup on the 2nd one. While the 1st recipe has more of a half half ratio of both milk and strawberry syrup.
nanimo exactly. i wws surprised by how much strawberry syrup she put on the first one in comparison to how much milk was mixed. also, she didn't mix the second one well at all, most of the strawberry was probably still left on the bottom of the container.

You could try boiling the fresh strawberries and the sugar for the faster version :)
I do this alot but I kinda prefer to mix the strawberries with the milk .I feel like the water out of strawberry can make the milk more like ... watery to me .. but definitely looks great
oh yea...thanks for mentioning the watery part. I hate watery milk. I'll definitely try the first one or the second one but with cooked strawberry and full cream milk
I like to just mix milk and Hershey strawberry syrup. Tastes great, looks great, feels great-

설거지 안하는 방법으로는 깨끗한 비닐에 딸기랑 설탕이랑 넣고 손으로 으깬 다음에 으깬 거 컵에 담고 우유 넣어서 섞어먹으면 돼요 진짜 쉽고 컵이랑 숟가락만 있으면 됨!

Maybe the ratio of the milk and juice for the bigger bottle was larger for the milk that's why it has a blander taste?

The late night cravings on my recommendations. I love it.
I actually made this at home and it turned out really great! Although I'm always confused about how many sugar I have to put but it's still okay. I only made the first option because I thought it is the best one for me. My first attempt on trying to do the first option is instead of using lemon, I used orange because I forgot to buy one. XD but it still turned out pretty great in my opinion. Now, I'm testing out the one with the lemon. :)
is it a must to put lemon/orange? can you taste the lemon after adding milk?

I tried this, and the Longer ver. is definitely worth it, especially if you don't like chunks of strawberry in your milk. It will give you a nice smooth strawberry syrup. The shorter version, although it tastes good, gives more of a bubbly airy syrup.
