I have followed you for this BOM series & the BOM series last year. Thank you for doing both BOMs, it helped tremendously! Next year's BOM is beautiful, too.
So if the block is supposed to be 2-1/2” should not the finished size be 2” and the extra seam allowance be 1/4” all around? So the center point should be 1”?
Yes the center point in the FINISHED 2 inch size is 1; if you're checking the UNFINISHED 2 1/2 inch size, the center is at 1 1/4 to account for those seam allowances.
I cut my teal piece in half and then folded it and cut it as you said. When I pieced it together, the triangles weren’t large enough. What did I do wrong?
Well, without seeing what your starting piece of fabric was, all I can do is explain what I had. For this block, I was given 8.5 inches by WOF. Then I used the template picture to see how many folds I could get out of half of that (lengthwise), which is why I only show the other half on camera. So you have not have done anything wrong if you weren't given the correct amount of fabric... it's hard to say since I can't see what you're working with. Hopefully, your kit came with an "oops" bag. Or see if the shop you purchased it from has extra fabric if you need it.
OK that was the problem. The piece of fabric was cut 6 1/2 inches by with the fabric as is in the cutting instructions. That made them too small. I will try to find more fabric so I can finish this. Thanks.

Thank you so much, Joy! I hope you can join me next year too!
