- Pavlov VR, and Day Z go together like game chat and firearms. Pav Z is essentially a social deduction game with a very simple question. Will you game end me... and I love it. The airdrop points are Zombie Kills (Points) I think they appear as “Assists” on the leaderboard.
It calls in an airdrop with awesome weapons, unobtainable from normal crates!

Habie how it works- player kill 10 points (some servers vary) zombie kill 1 points, it is on you leaderboard and the airdrop is a military crate (aka the thing you find in the middle near the pond)
another tip for getting points is team up. You are a lot quicker with point gaining as a team, even though it seems like the opposite

I have SO many hours in this gamemode--I love it! it's fantastic for improv too
Whenever I would play this gamemode, the server would eventually split into 2 different sides, and zombies were a secondary thing, its my favourite gamemode for pavlov
Trying improv on vr is genius, you can work on your delivery, body language and audience reaction in real time, and with complete strangers without harassing people on the street for it

I love the fact that there is such a huge community for custom maps in Pavlov.
I wish there were more on Shack, especially that arent locked behind a private server. There's currently only like 5-6 servers in total for Cod zombies, but the majority are private 😭.
Honestly, most days it feels like we barely get any custom maps unless you have a PC, which gives you a little more options. I just wish I could play Call of the Dead without PC 😭

When I first started I found this group and we had a bond. We looted up and decided to go into town. Everyone died except for two of us. The other died and I was the only one left. I was able to find one of the others but we got separated and he left the game. I didn’t realize he left and was just calling out his name to any player I saw. So depressing but fun

7:23 The reason it's making that noise is because you have to check the leaderboard. You need to have killed enough humans or zombies and get up to 200 points. You can also steal other players points when you kill them.

Habie the Airdrop is a box that will drop in the middle of the map with great military-grade weapons. How you get it is simple: you get a point is for every zombie that you kill and are awarded 1 point and you can take all of the points from others if you kill them. The only problem is that once you get the 200 points and call it in an air raid siren will go off and everyone will be looking for it.

Your points are the score that would usually be in snd. You get the points people had when you kill them. You get 1 per kill (if they have 0 points) and 1 per zombie kill. 200 gets you an air drop that has really good guns.

You definitely should. Habie was one of the first people I watched to get an idea about how VR feels, also considering he prefers to go the cheap route for VR like myself. Habie plays Quest 2 on a PC, and you can see how beautiful that looks. It still looks really good on wireless, but obviously PC looks better and gives you more map and game options. As someone who has been stuck to wireless with no PC for a while, I was sold within the 1st hour I touched it. Almost a month later, and I'm still playing every day and running my entire battery dry. Granted, the Quest 2 only has around 3-4 hours on full battery, but you can buy a better battery if necessary and it fully charges in only 2 and a half hours. I dont mind the short battery time, as by the time it dies my face is begging for a break. 2 and a half hours is also like the perfect break time for me.
TLDR: It is 100% worth the buy. If you have PC, you basically triple to quadruple your catalog and map options for Pavlov Shack. Short battery time, but can be upgraded to be better if you really want more than 3-4 hours of play. If your goal is to just enjoy VR in general, Quest 2 is the best route for beginners, like myself.
Just know that most of the cool things are only available if you have a vr ready pc. But I do still recommend a quest 2

This was great! Btw, now that you have a quest 2 you should try out Pavlov shack natively on the quest. I’m sure it’s a worse experience but it’s be interesting to see how they compare. Also, as a side note they just came out with prop hunt in beta for Pavlov and that looks like it’d be fun too. (Edit: I was apparently mistaken on how it works. It's available in the code but only through certain maps. The one that supposedly works most recently is PH Warehouse. I don't have the PC version of Pavlov or I'd check it out myself.)
where is the prop hunt gamemode in beta
@@zylox2660 It looks like I misunderstood. There is a prop hunt mode in the beta but it is not an option in a menu, it is supposedly just active on some of the maps. The one I found that was working as of a couple of days ago for someone according to the steam community is called PH Warehouse.

I played this before it's pretty fun, there are a lot of servers for quest users you can find them pretty easily
green crates can store rare items such as special ammo and the weapons that use it, and zombies will not attack you until you leave the little town you spawn into

also about the points, every time you kill a zombie you get 1 point, you can steal other players points by killing them, once you call it in by that telephone thing it calls in an air drop with some really good guns in it
on the player menu, in the S section, that means score and when you have 200 score then you call the airdrop, score resets when you die or leave the game.

Something i dont think it's talked about enough is how GOOD this map looks, the first time i loaded in i was completely awestuck at the skybox and the scenery, going to a really high point and just looking at the distance gives you a feeling im just unable to describe.
Only negative i would give it is that the map just "ends" instead of being something like a beach or a death wall, also with how big the mountains/rock give the map a sense of scale, some caves or, hell, even a small town inside a massive cave would make this map even better.

habie The airstrike should have a value in the menu, but it isnt labeled, I’m on Pavlov Shack (Oculus Quest Standalone) so it may be different but the third number value should be counted as points, it is added by the amount of shots you hit and other stuff idk, but if you kill someone you also take their points, or so I’ve heard at least. Basically if someone wins enough encounters and stays alive long enough you get the airdrop

If you like this please play a custom map called The Island (or something similar, I can't remember the exact name) it's similar but so incredibly fun. I have sunk hours into it and you can join up with as many people as you like and just fight off other enemies and zombies. The map has a huge bunker and a two city's with a bunch of other things around and it is set at night which makes the experience that more terrifying.
