One thing i learned like 60 hours in after someone told me is that during push if the time for a bomb is going down you can actually spawn in and not use any tickets. So if there is like 1 person left and they manage to plant then everyone can spawn as long as that bomb timer is going down. I think its there as some sort of overtime mode.
@@mattyork7625 its not crossplay yet! PC pavlov hasnt updated to the same engine that the PSVR2 pavlov runs on. So you should see a lot more games when PC updates! :)
Here's a tip for PUSH; there are instructions for planting and defusing the bomb inside the locker room, simply turn around once you spawn and read up on how to plant or defuse.
I've also reached my 1000 hours and there are still some tips most people still don't know, so here is one more of those I know: The more guns you carry with you the louder the footsteps are. This also applies to walking slowly. You can still be heard through walls while sneaking.
i have 500 hours, and somehow just yesterday i found out you can "reload" your friends guns if they either give you a mag or you have the same gun hahahaha.
I just got PSVR2 and Pavlov was my first game, put in 3 hours yesterday and I am beyond blown away at how good it is. I was a counter strike junkie back in the day and I couldn't believe my eyes at how good they've actually made this game. Coming from the original oculus 5 years ago and not touching VR since this was quite the surprise.
I've been playing this game since the release of shack to applab. I have been maining pavlov for almost 2 years now and I'm probably approaching 2k hours now. Great video I just wanted to share my experience!
3.5k hours here, your tips on sound management are spot on, game sounds and info are key. However, instead of walking sideways, I'd reccomend moving the stick forward halfway, and slow walking. Slow walking still makes a very very quiet sound but you can hear the shuffling sounds if your audio is high enough. Other than that great vid 👍
Known bugs that Vankrupt has yet to fix: The SKS can may receive an 11th round by holding a clip above the receiver and shooting. The clip will load in as if the gun were empty and you'll have an 11th round to play with. Any gun with a three round burst may fire a "ghost burst" if you, with a gun of the specified type, take out the mag, fire the last round, load a new magazine into the magazine well, pull the trigger once and THEN release the bolt. Also, when reloading the belt fed machine guns, if you like to swap hands for reloads you'll find that when the feed cover is up, it will fall when you switch reloading hands mid reload. This may not be an issue if you already have a belt loaded and are convinced that you can simply charge the gun. The issue reveals itself when you can't charge the gun because you didn't close the feed cover yourself. It only appears closed and is not logically closed.
I have been playing for a while now and some of the tips i learned was. 1. Clippers are useful for someone with stick drift. 2. holding down the opposite hand when defusing stops stick drift 3. When you are attacking don’t use your mic as people nearby can hear you are coming.
Absolutely! Teamwork is key! When it comes to team modes, K/D and leaderboards don't matter, especially in a game like this where there's no progression system for the player to unlock stuff. There's NO reason not to work together.
About the teamwork one, My best push moment was when I was a medic by myself, out of syringe juice, equipped with only a pistol and a bazooka I looted off my dead comrade, and there was a tank moving towards me. Eventually a Support guy shows up out of nowhere and it was too dangerous for him to run to me. So I called out for him to throw his ammo to me so I can load the bazooka and shoot the tank. Not to promote but I recorded it and uploaded it to my channel.
one thing i learned is that you lay down on the ground and make yourself look dead and when you know an enemy is coming drop your weapon in your hand so they arent suspicious. also before all that i highly recomend throwing a grenade or shooting anything near you so they think you died
Isn't a tip more a bug, in TTT if someone has a detective outfit and gear but isn't a detective that means they are a traitor in that round there will also be no detective
about the fast reloads, I find the guns with mag releases to be way more efficient, but the ak magazine trick is kind of janky and I find it to be less efficient than taking the mag out manually in the same motion as grabbing the new one
Quick tip for push, if the bomb is planted, and you do not have a clear sight of where the bomb sight, don’t throw grenades, you might accidentally blow up a teammate
I have recently gotten to 540 hours in Pavlov (PC), I started playing 2 years ago on Shack then transitioned to PCVR. I might have 1000 hours if I add both game time together.
I’m pretty sure the glitch thing is an exploit, whole role is kinda pointless if the one group that it’s meant to fool is also the only group that can tell for sure it isn’t on their side
here is one thing i would like to add to the hidden section. that would be the fact that the red tranquilizer gun has no recoil and should be used along side your pistol
you can throw a flash, and look at it blow, and not being blinded by it...( im not gonna say how) AVOID THE WALLS! the collision with the wall, no metter the direction you face, if You are too close, it will burp on you, and dont let you shoot (really Dave?? ). Your body position will determine how fast, and if ever, youd get your new magazine. To avoid it, do a step forward, and get Ur body straight. (pretty obvious, but it will cause some missgrabs, if not followed)
Seriously, you forgot one very important tip. With most guns, once you spawn in, RELOAD! This is because when you spawn in, the game pulls a bullet from the mag to chamber. This means one less bullet. If you reload right after spawn, it gives you another bullet, and every bullet counts!!! Come one man!
I probably have more than 1000 hours played tbh. I have many games that cost like 30-70$, and pavlov has always been my favorite game, it tops bonelab, and maybe blade and sorcery.
The reason you don't make as much noise walking sideways is that you can't move full running or sprinting speed. Sound only shows up when you are moving fast, moving forward while aiming you won't make noise unless you are going max speed, moving sideways while aiming you are moving really slow and make no sound.
I learned in like my 5th play through that some weapon you can have 1 extra bullet of you take out the mag with a leaf 1 bullet and load in another one
I played about 170 hours of the game in the space of a few months (I was addicted). I haven't played since as my controllers are fucked, but man do I miss it.
Is this just a Quest thing? Some guns like the M4, M16, most pistols, and others can eject the mag if you just press B on your controller (and a subset of those guns can also close the bolt by pressing B after a mag is in, but no round is chambered)
For the hidden Taunt thing, one of my favorite things to do is jump around my victim while taunting so it stresses them out and I could attack from anywhere, which, once they face a certain direction Looking for me, I'll jump behind them and go for the kill. Edit: Also quick tip. Always pick off stragglers first and use your grenades on big groups. Also, cook your grenades so that once it reaches the crowd, they have less time to react. Always be searching for different angles and be patient but not too patient.
I don't know why you told people to swap the magazine like that, it's so much slower than doing it the normal way You need to put the arm down from the gun anyway so you can grab the old magazine on your way down instead or fiddling around with a broken mechanic
hey im about 13 on pavlov and people are like telling me to leave the lobby or to kill myself but idk why do you have and tip for that(to not get death threats)

@The Mad Rabbits hello rabbits!!
the teamwork one on push is always so fun because most of the time your winning and having fun and talking to people to whole time.
Here's a tip, avoid being in opposite teams as disco in any given WW2 map. I learned that tip the hard way lmao
Nice tips! To add to the footsteps tip, voice can carry quite a bit as well so you gotta watch when you're sneaking up
This!! I've also noticed that sometimes you can hear the enemy teams radio chat, not sure what causes it though?
@doctordisco2980 if you speak through radio you speak through the proximity chat at the same time for some reason
@@reetialbecause that's how voices work? if you talk through a radio in real life, people around you can still hear you lmao

1. Clippers are useful for someone with stick drift.

3. When you are attacking don’t use your mic as people nearby can hear you are coming.
number 3 makes no sense; you need to coordinate with your team to win. Other than that the tips are useful
in most situations i’m in i can hear the opponents comms when they are communicating while attacking getting audio cues off of that
That one tip about walking sideways is true and the reason why I know it’s because my controller is broken and I can only walk sideways
i remember you demolishing my team with a knife in push about a year ago. didnt expect to see you again!
