Swedish Railway Museum | Järnvägsmuseet | Steam Weekend | Sunday 25th August 2024

51L Productions brings you something a little different in the form of a visit to Järnvägsmuseet - The Swedish Railway Museum located in Gävle, situated 107 miles from Stockholm.
The museum held a steam weekend on 24th & 25th August we visited them on the 25th to see -
SJ N Class 576
SJ B Class 1108
SJ Ka Class 692
All three were in steam and operating a shuttle service from the Museums main building then onto the Mainline to Gävle Central Station, before continuing on SJ Metals to the museums other base at Tåghallen which houses more locomotives than the museum.
It was so interesting to see these machines on the national network, we have included some film from the train.
No tripod was available on this trip so we apologise for the shakiness of the film in places.
