This movie is especially interesting since it showed the whole neighborhood as it was being built. Fascinating to look back now and compare.

Nice that it mostly looks the same other than larger foliage. And houses where empty lots were. I only wish in the last bit you has two friends stand there with walkie talkies as a gag for replacing the guns
It's funny. Even what we would call "established" and "lush" neighborhoods all started out as barren suburbia at one point.

No super modernized housing, topography is generally unchanged with the exception of more vegetation (considering all the construction in the film, I'm sure it was a newer development in 1981) Amazing that most of it still looks exactly the same after 43yrs. HOA must be really strict knowing its a tourist destination
