Rogue River Dam Removal

WaterWatch of Oregon began a campaign 20 years ago to improve fish passage on the Rogue River in Southwest Oregon. Through WaterWatch's efforts four dams have been removed: Savage Rapids Dam, Gold Hill Dam, Gold Ray Dam, and Elk Creek Dam.

Ralph, I just looked at the ODFW stats on their website and can't see any change in the number of wild steelhead or salmon on the Rogue between 2010 and 2019. Can you tell me the specifics of how many more fish are swimming by me now? Do you have numbers for the other rivers as well, please? Thanks in advance.

Water watch needs to pay for any major flooding now since the dams are removed because of there organizations. They are making money under the table now for all the rafting and fishing guides.

is there going to be a video of spawning fish up the tributary at Elk Creek or any spawning beds up through shady cove to Lost Creek dam .Obviously we have done damage to fish habitat from a variety of human endeavors but I think the biggest issue we have now is the over fishing in Alaska. Are they taking our fish too and are the fisheries being over exploited . Way too much politics involved and not enough commonsense applied to the natural order of this issue as aleays

No we are just going to feed the sea lions 100lbs. of fish everyday until there is none left because they're on the endangered list now.

@@man-who-sold-the-world that's really a dumb way to look at things. So you would like to see the human population starve? Maybe your parents should have thought about the food supply before they contributed to the world's over-population problem.
