Trailer 'Get All You Deserve' Blu-Ray & DVD by Steven Wilson out now on Kscope.
Get All You Deserve, is a high-definition 4 disc (blu-ray, dvd, 2cd) audio-visual set from Steven Wilson.
Filmed in Mexico City and directed by long-time visual collaborator Lasse Hoile during the Grace For Drowning Tour, the set is a superb representation of the spectacular live experience that Wilson and Hoile created for the tour.
Grace For Drowning was the second album released under Wilson's own name, following 2009's exceptionally well-received Insurgentes. The album, released in September 2011, entered the UK top 40 album chart at #34, both the Dutch and German national charts at #22, the US Billboard Rock album chart at #19 (#13 in independent chart) and debuted at #7 in the Polish national charts.
Following the release of Grace For Drowning, Steven embarked on his first ever solo tour, assembling a virtuoso band, featuring Marco Minnemann (drums), Nick Beggs (bass), Theo Travis (flute and sax), Adam Holzman (keys) and Niko Tsonev (guitars), to accompany him. For the shows he worked extensively with Lasse to create a show unlike anything else he had attempted with his other bands, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, No-Man or Bass Communion.
The shows submerged fans in a rich sensory experience: rear speakers provide surround-sound effects, giant screens show off Lasse's films made specifically to accompany these songs, and cutting-edge lighting designs giving texture to each song.
Get All You Deserve captures one of the key shows from the tour. Recorded at a sold-out Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City, the gig features tracks from both Wilson's solo albums along with the new, as yet unreleased, track Luminol.
Tracklist:
1. Intro ('Citadel')
2. No Twilight Within the Courts of the Sun
3. Index
4. Deform to Form a Star
5. Sectarian
6. Postcard
7. Remainder the Black Dog
8. Harmony Korine

11. Luminol
12. Veneno Para Las Hadas
13. No Part of Me

Steven is my inspiration of life. There is no one like him.
what about Mikael?!
Åkerfield? I'm not so big fan of him, but yea he is damn good musician too of course.
***** I love Akerfeldt's guitar solos
That's true!
You speak the mind of many, I suppose.
Wilson is more of a sound designer and Akerfeldt is a musician.
Both are incredibly brilliant at what they do.
I'm just utterly amazed how this guy manages to sound awesome in studio, and even BETTER live. That's the mark of a seriously epic artist. D.R.
I've seen him live 4 times 3 with Porcupine Tree and once solo and he is the BEST live performer of ALL time
@@USMCSDI Christ, I wish I could have seen him with PT! Saw him for the first time ever back in '18 for the TTB tour and that was fantastic!!
He overproduce almost all of his songs, with too much background voices
and maybe some solos are just played better live than all the guitars in studio with effects.
Sometimes a minimalistic performance is better than an overproduced song.
Some examples are Sentimental, the studio version, compared with the tillburg version and almost all of the songs in FOABP.
excellent point and absolutely true of FOABP
I'm so sad for discover the Steven Wilson's music after he visited México that year :( I live in México City and when i search about concerts in my country he has some years that come here. Now i'm waiting for this pandemic finish for a great GREAT concert of this greatest man, this song is one of my favorites of him
Every time I watch SW's live videos I am blown away at how well Nick Begg's voice complements Steven Wilson's. He is an excellent musician and vocalist and you can tell how much he loves playing. His emotion in itself is enough to give me chills.
+mahnamesjakers Definitely love what Nick's voice adds to it. The only way that it could get better would be if Steven hired his PT band mate John Wesley to play guitar in the next iteration of Steven's touring group. I bet that the harmony of the three of their voices would be amazing!
Truth!
absolutely yes
I noticed this BIG TIME. ❤
Beggs is a monster
This is one of the best songs ever written by a human. This is one of Humanity's prime artistic gems.
To the hyperbolemobile!!
@@neonmeate8180😂😂😂
What Akerfeldt and Wilson have in common is an uncanny vision for songs that need to be epic and that must sweep the listener away. What Wilson has is intractable vision wedded to excellent ears- the very best thing a producer and leader of any band can have. Neither of them is about "chops". Many players with "chops" have no command of soundscape. Love both these guys and always look forward to new projects from them and their bands!
+Paul Dykstra You said it perfectly Paul.
+Paul Dykstra What may sound epic is really humility. I don't hear or feel largeness in the music as much as I feel an unconditional warmth of simple noise.
What do you think of his latest?
nice words
That was written really well! No one could have said that any better!
Seriously, we got king crimson, genesis, dream theater, kajagoogoo, porcupine tree... If I could personally make a band using other bands like ingredients, this would totally be it. Beautiful!
Well said
One of SW's best songs from a superb album. The drummer absolutely KILLS!! Can't stop listening to this.
The Drummer in this set is Marco Minnemann from Hannover :-)
I am glad that Marco Minnemann didn't make it into Dream Theatre, he's so much more 'at home' here with Steven Wilson!
Marco Minneman is a out of this world drummer!
Gavin did this song better I think but none the less he is a great drummer
I agree Gavin's groove is superb not just a skilled drummer.
Love all of the drummers Stephen works with.
stephen?
@@andresfelipemarquezochoa9804 lmao
One of the best live performances of any song of all time.
Compliments to the complete crew, musicians, audiorecording specialists : the crème the la crème, presenting this performance... speechless...
Such a nostalgic sounding song
Talk about 'wall of sound'. Holy shit.
Marco Minneman is a beast! Awesome creativity, drum skill. This is way unbelievable.
My favorite song of Steven Wilson :)
i like a lot, but, i prefer Drive Home and index :)
I think it all depends on the time also
Mario Castro Drive home and index are EXELLENT TOO!!!!! :D and yeah, it really depends on time, how you feel :)
+Teph Heisenberg what about glass arm shattering
Simply beautiful.
Absolutely in my head Steven Wilson 🥰
Steve is a genius musician.
Amazing!
Dream Theater commited a mistake at leaving Marco Minneman out, nothing against Mangini, he is great, bur Minneman is a superlative drummer and just a few drummers in the world enjoy playing as he does.
fuck dream theater
Marco is to good to be playing in DT.
To be fair, if it wasn't for DT rejecting him we wouldn't have got The Aristocrats
They made a lot of mistakes, so who cares 😁 The way this guy makes music, they stopped long time ago when Moore left. Man!!! Really would be amazing to have Wilson and Moore in the same band!!!
I believe that they actually wanted him but Marco couldn't commit to just doing Dream Theater. I think in a way that's worked out well as we still get music and projects he is involved in as well as Dream Theater which wouldn't have happened had he joined them.
Que increible el bajista... Monstruo como toca y canta como los dioses... que coros! This bass guy is just amazing... he does everything! Plays like hell and sings so nice!
what a band! the whole band are brilliant musicians.stunned! 👏
Love Steven's mischievous smile in the beginning. He knows they're about to kill it!
Sounds fantastic.
2:55 the Minnemann-Holzman connection! What a stellar performance
I saw someone in the audience wearing a King Crimson shirt.
Great !
One of Sir Steven Wilson best songs and one of the best songs since the beginning of human kind.
Very powerful piece. I love Marco's unorthodox style of percussion, perfect for this band. So many ******s!
Steven is my inspiration of life in music.
I just can't find anything better than Steven Wilson I'll put in progressive rock I can't get s***! Steven rocks!
Perfect live. Steven is the King!
One of the best group in the world
the song once again proofs, that marco isnt just that insane virtuose drummonster but also got geniuse musicality
Even better than the album version
Marco es un show aparte
This song helped me through one of the darkest times of my life. I am eternally grateful for its creation and artistry. (And thankful for my ability to listen to music inside my head because for five months, I never heard a note of music! The dimensions of this song were food for my spirit.)
I wanna hear more about your story andy ❤. Please do a YT vijo x
Goosebumps every time.
Marco is a great drummer 🤟
i love his smile
0 dislikes! Exactly as it should be with any Steven Wilson related video
I was lucky and proud to see live this national team!!!!!!!
I’ll say this once and again; what an amazing musician is Nick Beggs. He plays the songs with such passion and conviction!! My dream is that Steven can record an albums with the same people he did the Raven; including Guthrie and Marco. Best he ever sound.
Saw Steven Wlison live in a summer festival in France (2019). Without Marco and Guthrie unfortunately, but even then WOW! Opening for Sting+Shaggy, Steven and his band just stole the show. Powerful and close to the spiritual experience, very emotional. Inspiring
Minemann is awesome !!!!
Rain, come down, and fall forever
Drain, the dirt, into the wasteland
Pray, for sound, to quiet the howling
Feel, no shame, too brave
Feel, afraid, to wait forever
Kneel, to fade, the day's corrosion
Crawl, depart, towards perdition
Gray, the part, the bruise within you
Feel, no shame, too brave
Feel, afraid, to wait forever
Forever
Feel, no shame, too brave
Feel, afraid, to wait forever
This is precisely what I'm observing. First of all, as already been established, there are two guitar parts, the arpeggiated melodic chord pattern played by Niko, and Steven's powerful, distorted, driven strumming in the chorus.
Aside from this, there is absolutely no way that SW does not play his instrument in a live setting. [thought continued in next comment...]
I love the bassist at 5:01 so much, it's just pure fucking joy.
I was there, it was magic :')
What an underrated genius Steven is !
I agree Marco is a very great drummer and also one of my favorites :) But more complicated..? I think Gavin's out of context interpretation on rhythms and overall odd use of ghost-notes makes it a lot harder, but more importantly provides that curtain kind of feel that is responsible for the great musical quality of 'this song' and a lot of his other projects like Porcupine Tree ::))
Either way they are both very awesome drummers and have their own sound which makes them even more unique :)
Gavin have a better groove without overplaying too many notes.
Can't wait to go see him live next year!
Awesome musicianship all the way around. Nick Beggs reminds me of Chris Squire for his playing and singing - holding down the bottom end on such an epic piece while making the vocals soar.
Not gonna fanboy over anything but his music really is something else. We all sort of escape and avoid the gray cloud that keeps roaming above our heads. He takes that and turns it into something absolutely reasonable. Beautiful, in fact. Not in a sense that ''it makes you want to joyfully dream of depression'' but in a sense that you acknowledge what bothers you. It speaks to you. We really are lucky to hear such thing. Specially in an age where music is nothing but a culture of flex via ''bitchez'' and ''hoes''.
I only wish this concert trascends trough the ages of time, we dont desrerve less than that as humanity.
Lo mas!!
Live version better than the album version. They're all just so much into it. :)
MARCO MARCO MARCO !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol I've been corrected its "Too shy, shy. Hush, hush. Eye to eye." Lol yay
really?🧐
Love that Rickenbacker :)
Which is the Rickenbacker? Please be kind to me not knowing....I'm still learning about guitars....
He's a very talented artist, i admire him too!
Jesus, this is sublime.
Fabulous performance by not only Steven the entire band. I would love the opportunity to photograph one of his concerts in the UK in March.
4:24 - 4:29 is the only reason to live.
Amazing to to watch the enornous Marco Minnemann with SW. Damn son!
I love MARCO MINNEMANN AND NICK BEGGS :-) da pauraaaaaaaaaaa !!!! grazie !!!
This is one of my favorite live videos. 🙂 They all look like they're having a great time and love what they're doing. It gives the song so much more emotion. The album version is good but this one is spectacular! (SW's random little smiles at the beginning and throughout the song make me smile every time.) I love watching Nick too. He seems like he'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. I missed this tour but his expressions and crazy little dance moves during the last tour was one of the best parts. I'm so glad they added this song into that tour since I missed out the first time around.
what a band! i can't keep away from this perormance.
Gavin Harrison on the rhythm guitar.
I didn't notice that!😎
@@donnapage8894 That's actually Niko Tsonev, who was the hired guitarist for Wilson's first solo tour - he looks like Gavin though haha!
And Goldilocks on bass.
He definitely has a type
YES! 😂😂😂
Excelente! Steven te adoro!
...genialny.....pień drzewa...:-))
This is my favorite line-up of musicians for SW. Too Shy - d -shy hush hush shy do why. Lol
love love love
SUPER 👍
very good................................................................................................................................................................................
Amazingly talented musicians, divine live performance, sound/lights production crew did a superb job. Great work!!!
Martin ist eine echte Offenbahrung an den Drums. Selten je einen so eindrucksvollen Slow Drummer gehört. Chapo Martin!
Martin? You mean Marco Minneman of sure.
Wow, that works really well live.
sencillamente maravilloso
Who needs a god, when Steven Wilson cs. is walking on this planet ?
Absolutely stunning, like so much of his astonishing HQ output !
Thank you, we'll keep tuned.
A epic song that we will see and hear on his current tour at the Park West on June 5, 2015! Of course to be played at all the other venues "Steven Wilson" and his band will perform at live in concert!
Bello, onírico...
Love this old shit! How can this be 11 years?
Excelente Band , musicians. Videoclip from Fourth years ago, ITS premonitory. Many mascs. Incredible Melody. SM ITS ours concours.
Proszę Państwa, kapelusze z głów, oto geniusz!
OK 🎸👍
Just amazing and great song!!!
They played this live in Toronto last November and it had a lasting effect on me. It really made me feel good to listen to this, and I don't think another concert experience will ever be the same.
Absolutely brilliant song
I knew about this artist just this year and with this song... believe me was love at first sight... or listening?
Pero que rola, quisiera que todo el mundo la conociera.
perfection is hard I'm simply admiring minnemann's skill and talent, just as humble and he goes out there and plays well
Best line up of SW
A bit of Roxy music out of the blue in there love it!
Nos vemos este proximo viernes 15 de Mayo en el plaza Condesa. Aaaaawwwh!!!
Rain, come down!
Que temazo! Que artista tan espectacular!!
Wish he will stage (with Porcupine Tree) in Istanbul too.
Man, this is really, really good stuff. One of my favorite songs in all of music.
That a Wow!
Have read SW titled this as he just liked the cool name of the cult film director. But anyone notice it also rhymes perfectly with Astronomy Domine (the old sixties Floyd track) ...
Chris Blower oo
Pero que buena rola. Minneman es otro nivel.
Listen to Steven's guitar...
