The Professional Token Victim. I didn't care for her driving in INDY or NASCAR because of how she behaved outside of the racecar. She didn't like MTJ and SP's relationship? IMO that was none of her business, but she chose to gossip. Too bad she couldn't run her car as fast as she ran her mouth. Ps: congrats to Ricky and Madyson on the upcoming Summer 2024 birth of Baby Stenhouse.
Sooo… I’ve always wondered if Martin dumped Sherri because she was dieing.. can’t imagine being on either side I’ve just always been curious what went down
Since she brought it up, let's be real. She was not a good race car driver. She got a ride just because she helped sell tickets and T-shirts. I understand that. But her skills in the car did not warrant her being in the field of 43. This interview doesn't surprise me. It was always never her fault.
My first experience of hearing Danica speak her mind was at Vegas when she was in the Nationwide series. It was her rookie years and my only trip to there. The hype of her entering stock car from Indy had me put her frequency in my scanner. She didn’t disappoint! She had a potty mouthed drunken sailor vocabulary.
No one liked racing her ……she actually was treated far better than I thought she deserved considering she’s with a pack of wolves and not got nipped at a few times . She was far more aggressive than her talent level .
I'm not a Truex fan but I haven't heard many say he drives like an ass. I feel like she just has a personal grudge and is letting that bias her with him on track. Joey I hear a lot of the same -- along the lines of mostly clean but a pain in the ass. He doesn't give you anything. But for Denny and Martin, Danica's criticisms were kind of weak and kind of what you expect from a mid to back runner. "Drives to close to you when passing...doesn't leave a lot of room for error..." I don't think front runners would make those criticisms, but in fairness to Danica she was not a terrible cup driver like a lot of the gatekeeping comments suggest. She gets more hate than she deserves
I think she was responding to the question of who raced her tough during certain experiences more than making overall assessments on them. (I recall her getting bumped quite a bit in some races.) You're sure right about those criticizing her. Most haven't a clue what they're even talking about. They just want to be heard and because everyone else is piling on, they regurgitate their own 2 cents. Truth is, she had poles, top 10 finishes and led laps in both Xfinity and Cup. (143 laps led total.) In Cup alone, 6 top ten finishes, pole at Daytona 500, led 127 laps under green at Daytona, and finished 8th. I could go on.
She looked captivating here. I liked her spirit as a driver. I had to stop following her on IG because she started having all these fringe guests. I can see how she was once compatible with Rogers. But my goodness, she's really easy on the eyes now. Better than ever.
And are we to believe that Danica was so great on the track, kind if hard to judge other drivers until you actually have a little success yourself. Always in first tier equipment, and not much to show except the paycheck, and I guess that what it's about in the end.
Now I know why she never won any races in NASCAR. Can't be a nice guy on the track and win many races. George Foreman super nice person outside the ring but going to try to take your head off inside the ring. The mark of a real champion. I like Joey and Denny even more after hearing her opinion.
She was never one of my favorite people much less a NASCAR driver. Then what she said about MTJ when Sherry died really made me dispise her. It was none of her business and neither Martin or Sherry's family needed to hear that stuff when they'd just lost her. Danica couldn't keep her mouth shut though. MTJ and Sherry were pure class. Danica thinks very highly of herself but she has no class. She's always whined and blamed everyone else. Not a good representative of female drivers in NASCAR. Same in Indy car.
lol, the worst driver in Recent NASCAR history doesn't like 3 guys who are worlds better than her. He drove too close..waahhh Her record is there to see, she didn't get beat up by the "guys", she just couldn't drive a stock car.
All the drivers are glad your gone Danica because you were always in the way. Danica didn't know how to wreck someone she went for Payback and wrecked herself.
Go ahead and ask Deegan the same question, since they will end up with mirror careers. I thought it was funny , last time in the booth ,Danica didn't wanna talk with Bowyer about Stenhouse. lol

Hmm, I may be biased towards Truex and I know he can get a bit whiny but lapped cars need to move out of the way. Hamlin and Logano I agree because they’ve had their share of scuffles with other drivers and each other (fighting a few years back).
I'm so surprised that she didn't say anything about Almirola because he spent years putting her into the wall and then he replaced her when the sponsors bounced.
Most successful drivers are selfish. They only care about them, their team, and they want to win. They don’t look to make friends with their competitors. Doesn’t mean they don’t respect their competitors, but not looking to make friends with them.
I think this is the only time we will agree with Danica, because Jenny is just winning more and if we don’t stop him by 2024, he could win a championship

She can say she didn’t like racing around three drivers. But also every single driver didn’t like racing around her.
You know this how ? Every single really ! Do you Race ? And know all the drivers.
@bostonwarrior4824, you're a NASCAR expert, how?
Danica is Still my favorite.
I’m sorry!!😭😭😭😢😢
Spot on about Denny & Joey!
A lady that won one race in her life and I think it was because of rain and she probably wrecked more drivers than any other driver has.
You’re not wrong about that.

Never been a fan till she called denny an ass
If you owned a race team and wanted to win races and you had to hire her or Denny, what would you do genius?
@jeromestinson1128 so i never said anything about ability to drive. GeNiUs
A fan??? Pffftt.... yea, okay
I would agree with her on that. He is an ass.
Great interview !! Kenny is a master interviewer!
I have never talked to her in person but she seems to be really sharp and quick thinking. I don't think you could sneak anything by her.
But she isn’t the quality of driver that should ever been in Cup! How many drivers get moved up to Cup with her Xfinity record?
Like what? She cannot drive to the caliber of any guys in the Cup garage and probably not in Xfinity or trucks.
Same goes with degan.@@jeromestinson1128
Just about every driver on the track could sneak a race car past her in worse equipment!
@@jeromestinson1128 did she finish dead last in points?
Since she brought it up, let's be real. She was not a good race car driver. She got a ride just because she helped sell tickets and T-shirts. I understand that. But her skills in the car did not warrant her being in the field of 43.
This interview doesn't surprise me. It was always never her fault.
always the victim
We loved this interview!
it was great!
After hearing Danica in this interview I like Joey Lagano a whole lot more.
"Drives to close to you when passing...doesn't leave a lot of room for error..."
I don't think front runners would make those criticisms, but in fairness to Danica she was not a terrible cup driver like a lot of the gatekeeping comments suggest. She gets more hate than she deserves
I think she was responding to the question of who raced her tough during certain experiences more than making overall assessments on them. (I recall her getting bumped quite a bit in some races.)
You're sure right about those criticizing her. Most haven't a clue what they're even talking about. They just want to be heard and because everyone else is piling on, they regurgitate their own 2 cents.
Truth is, she had poles, top 10 finishes and led laps in both Xfinity and Cup. (143 laps led total.)
In Cup alone, 6 top ten finishes, pole at Daytona 500, led 127 laps under green at Daytona, and finished 8th. I could go on.
"Danica Patrick Did Not Like Racing 3 NASCAR Drivers"
Thats ok... because 43 drivers didn't like racing Danica Patrick! 🤣😂
44 car fields, eh? 🙄
Typo. It happens. Not the end of the world.
I was always a Danika fan. I’m glad she’s so candid in this interview. She also just gets more beautiful with age.
She looked captivating here. I liked her spirit as a driver. I had to stop following her on IG because she started having all these fringe guests. I can see how she was once compatible with Rogers.
But my goodness, she's really easy on the eyes now. Better than ever.
Good thing Danica never had to race Robby Gordon, she'd still be whining.
"When they were lapping me" lol well if you weren't in the way and moved over they prolly would of given you more room.
But yet Denny was kind enough to spend an hour on her podcast???? I'm assuming he regrets that.
Danica is just a bad Denny Hamlin on the track. Both are never wrong.
Heck, Danica not liking 3 NASCAR Driver's is nothing. There are roughly 40 NASCAR Drivers that don't like racing Danica.
Yes, I went there...
I am sure Sherri probably pushed him away 😢 she knew she was dying
That's the fire dumpster i remember always bleaming someone else

spot on! i figured stenhouse vickers and hamlin.
I agree with her on truex
Truex is fine. Keep out of his personal life, Danica.
@@ricksmith1382
There's a long list of them saying more besides Danica. She apparently feels for the woman mentioned.
Perhaps it would also be fair to ask these drivers their opinion of Danica
And are we to believe that Danica was so great on the track, kind if hard to judge other drivers until you actually have a little success yourself. Always in first tier equipment, and not much to show except the paycheck, and I guess that what it's about in the end.
And lazy. She was more interested in the pr than learning how to race a "stock car"
Great video Herm! Say what you want, she really is a bad-ass
lol, the worst driver in Recent NASCAR history doesn't like 3 guys who are worlds better than her. He drove too close..waahhh
Her record is there to see, she didn't get beat up by the "guys", she just couldn't drive a stock car.
When Almirola was leading the Daytona 500 and Hamlin crashed Him , Can't stand Him
Love it
Dillion wrecked Almirola too when leading the 500 on the last lap.
How many wins do Hamlin, Logano and Truex have and how many wins does she have?

All the drivers are glad your gone Danica because you were always in the way. Danica didn't know how to wreck someone she went for Payback and wrecked herself.
Go ahead and ask Deegan the same question, since they will end up with mirror careers. I thought it was funny , last time in the booth ,Danica didn't wanna talk with Bowyer about Stenhouse. lol
When did Danica race? I only saw her drive in circles then get mad at Denny for getting too close
Like Kyle Petty said, "She's not a race car driver. She's a marketing machine."
Stop referring to her as a driver. At best she was a marketing scheme that tore up a lot of equipment!

Not a Denny Hamlin fan...at all, but in his defense if he isnt pushing as hard as he does, he's not winning 53 races at NASCAR's highest level like he has. If you're gonna push as hard as he does and not leave room for error, you are gonna piss alot of people off and hurt alot of feelings, but you're also gonna win alot of races!!
She didn’t like racing 3 drivers…..well 36 drivers didn’t like racing her
She’s driven more NASCAR races against those she’s mentioned and has earned her opinion. I’ve never drove a NASCAR race to be able to give a honest opinion about her feelings
If you know the history of Danica in racing, she is no angel herself.

Oh Herman, you got yourself an interview and a half! Danica, I love you. Having been a female in a man’s world and working my ass off for over 30 years (at lower pay than the guys) I totally understand and appreciate your efforts and knowledge of racing, Danica.

I really like her candor and i generally agree with what she says.
She wasn't good in nascar, never got a feel for the car or the style of driving the series required, and she has publicly admitted as much.
I find her to be very honest and im glad she's found peace with her career as a whole.
She was actually pretty competitive in indycar, especially on the ovals.
As an outsider with no experience in that bangup arena, she wasn't all that bad.
