Alyssa, I have back problem and also knee problem . Since May 2024 I have been doing exercises as shown in your video. Now I can solve my problems very well. Thank you & God bless you
I can't understand why you only have 550k Subscribers... You are a Genuine person and spot-on excellent; I'm living through all mentioned in your tutorial.
Thanks super much ! Your recommendations and strategies are always on point for me...been having lower back pain on and off and your stretches are so helpful I can't thank you enough for the relief you have provided me ! thanks !
This is EXACTLY what I needed! 😀I want too ask aswell, which muscles should be engaged when we stay upright for prolonged period of time? 🤔Which muscles should I be feeling? 😀
Hi Alyssa thanks for this. Especially loved the cat cow on chair I have very painful osteoarthritis in hands and it is so hard to do any movements on hands . I also have herniated disk and stenosis so these quick easy movements are fantastic
Wow, I have a herniated disc but I always felt guilty that those 3 exercises hurt so I did them anyway. Sometimes my back is so tense it takes 20mins to relax fully onto the yoga mat (on my back) before I attempt anything. Thank You
I’m glad to hear your opinion on the bridge! I got so much grief at PT because no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t lift my hips. I can see why now! I inherited the “shelf butt” of my family and there’s no way I could get all three parts of my back flat in the table. I even tried it on the bed as suggested and still no way could I lift my hips! Plus I weigh close to 300 pounds-what did they expect? I haven’t been able to move like that since junior high! Your alternative for the bridge is much more do-able and less stressful! Thanks❣️
Good stuff Alyssa. I have 4 women cousins in their upper 70's. I'm passing your vids along and doing some of the exercises and stretches myself. Have a good week. Arivederci
Thankyou Alyssa these look like great exercises. I have been doing my own similar stretch relief exercises for my lower back at my kitchen counter and over the end of my bed. I'm signing up for you newsletter today! And any helpful info on Charlie horse cramps in the calf or the hamstring would be appreciated ❤
My joints are like concrete & I can barely move muscles and/or muscles. This has been only a few months so maybe there is hope for improvement. Love your simple encouraging instructions.
Alyssa, hello.I'm from Brazil. Besides being a very cute teacher, and having a very clear explanation method, you are so good in what you do that it's been helping me a lot to be more precise with my elderly clients and to practice my English listening . So🎉 thankful for your work. You are great.
🤔Could you do a video for Pt's that have torn their Labrum, Rotator Cuff, Scapula and or Glenoumeral Ligament. Or to prevent Capsulitis and keep ROM intact. I've had this injury over 10 years ago. I'm still at like half the ROM that would be considered normal. I'll make progress then regress all over again. My PA hyperextended my arm during an evaluation and i've never been the same ever since. I couldn't get Sx due to Dr's being scared to worsen my condition. I had to leave my Nursing job about 10 yrs now. It's been a nightmare, I'm just finding your channel.
Help! I m 81. have a fixed left hip arthrodesis and 1.75" shorter (since1956 )and scoliosis of spine . Plus old torn u"rotator cuffs both shoulders. And knee problem of left leg. I've been very active in my life and done yoga.BUT now I am bent over and find walking and standing painful. I want to be able to walk upright again like I used to. I've been to hospital physio and specialist but neither have helped. I do chair yoga and weights exercises to strengthen me . 1hour almost everyday . But no discernible improvement. Have you a programme might help?
Sincere thanks, Alyssa. Back probs are, well, from those women I've known, are very often caused by a big tummy, sleeping in an untenable position 😕 😒. Another personal aside, my kitchen sink is from 1964😮 the sofa from 1958😅. Nonetheless, I'll use an alternate leverage with that same vertical level.
Strengthening is key! These exercises can be helpful but remember everyone is different and everyone will experience different symptoms so only do what feels good and modify as needed

It's my pleasure
Thank you Dr, for your help.
Welcome!
This is very helpful! My lower back hurts after standing at my piano keyboard for a while. Probably a combination of posture and weak core muscles.
Correct- sitting in the same position for a while can be difficult but introducing simple movements can make a big difference.
Good tips. And your dog is so cute.
Glad you like the tips! And Teddy (my dog) say's hi
Your back muscles are coming in nicely. Keep up the good work

Best quads on UA-cam. Wish I could build up legs strength, so difficult at 50+
Thanks! I have videos on leg strength in my membership, Adventurers for Life.
Please do what you are able to now. 83 & find it very hard to do simple stretching.

Thank you for the exercises. My entire body is so stiff. I have to start back to exercise.

I did bridges. No wonder I hurt all day. Osteoarthritis of spine, and and hips. Already had one hip replacement.
ensuring proper form with bridges is key
What if you have anklyosing spondalytis? Thank you.
Strengthening is key! These exercises can be helpful but remember everyone is different and everyone will experience different symptoms so only do what feels good and modify as needed
