Easily the best Forza out of the Horizon series. Everything looked and felt so real and good. The map in general had soul. Something the newer forzas lack.
Nah I think Forza Horizon 1 is way better than this. The first one had amazing progression and an actual storyline in the single player, also had the best atmosphere and soundtrack, and the multiplayer in 1 was far better. While this game is good, it felt like a restricted version of the first.,
I now realize that FH3 and 4 lack of backstory (except maybe FH3, where it is the "sequel" of FH2, as you are the Festival CEO and can organise new Festival sites and have to reach the final event). FH4 changed the paradigm: no longer the CEO of festival, you are more like a guest, but you are allowed to buy houses around Britain. There is no one final event but every race category has one. Too bad it is not supported by a backstory as FH1 2 and 3 did, but it has seasons and I love the Scottish part of it, so I am still in love with that game.
Having watched the first 20% of this race, it seems to me that this race is more of a "Last Hurrah" type of race. A 'Thank you for playing'/'Trip down Memory Lane' type of deal. Which is making me wish for it to come to PC so I can experience it.
This whole race reminded me of some old routes I would love to take in my blue countach which I replicated in fh3. As soon as I saw some of these roads, I would have memories of driving different ways. I would use different colors and keep stamping circles to make camouflage for some of my military like vehicles. One race I did every time but I forgot what it was called. Used an ugly car but it worked really well, and you gotta do what you gotta do for the money. Had 7 Mazda rx7s and sold all but one. WILD paint job on it. I also remember getting 2,500cr for every level up and 100cr for every speed trap. Super happy about my first barn find. Always did speed tests o. The highway and when I hit a record I took a photo and it’s title would be how fast I went. Jumping a trans am on the hills by the airport as well as my two rally cars which I drove around the airport and in the hangars. Cool jumps there with my r8 too. Sorry for the long comment but wanted to express some of my memories in this game as it was my first Forza and first game on Xbox 360.
Since FH1 was such a small game, there is S MUCH DETAIL in everywhere. All across the map. Forza horizon 2 got the last of the high attention to detail stuff. FH 3 kinda sucks and I can't say anything about FH4 I haven't played it.

Xbox should remaster this version for Xbox One X and Series X. This game should only require minimal changes to make that happen, coz its still looks stunning.

This guy is a very good driver and he is very lucky to be in horizon champion ship car guy and he is in first place to race against all of the racers and he is going to win his champion cup just like i did guys i was exting in my life and my level is now on 189 ticket ever.
After seeing this video, I realized that the FH2 map feels very big compared to other forza games. I think both FH2&FH3 have more interesting and variable maps than 4 and 5. (I only played both). Guanajuato and Edimburgh feel boring compared to Nice and Castelletto or Surfers Paradise. I want so much to play FH3, but there is no way to do it at the day of today.
I started off with fh2 as a free xbox live gold game and I like it better than fh4 that I bought late 2018 looks like im not the only one to prefer the Mediterranean carnaval more.
I mean the in fh2 got some roads that cant compete with fh4 but in overall fh4 got the better roads, because it doesnt have the amount of complete boring and empty, soulless streets like fh2 did, but it dont have the extreme good roads, fh4 is a really good game in all categorys, but it dont have the categories (except graphic overall) on the map where the game stands out like fh1 and 2 but overall its the better game, but i wish that fh5 got a larger map (and it will because of the new xbox) and more hight im missing stunning views or dales (eg. I am aiming to buy FH2 as I never played, and yet I adore it. I won't say FH4 is worse because I loved every inch of it, but the least favourite is FH3 (which is an amazing game anyway, more a grower than a stunner as FH4 did to me)

After this I did the Storm Island expansion, where I now beat the final as well. Also on Xbox you don't need to ask people about adding them. You can add anybody you want. Just so more people know, complete horizon 2 via finale. In the process of winning the championships you earn alot of money, i earned atleast 800k from the championships and the wheelspins from them alone. Also does help that the finale gives you 1 million for winning 1st
FH2 should get a remaster with some stuff like race blueprints from later versions and additional car list from FH3 and 4 but map should stay the same. By far my favourite from forza horizon games and honestly I regret buying X360 version of the game before I got XOne just few months later

FH3 is probably same as FH4 (I am still playing it after completing FH4 and I am 41% of the main story before the FH3 Goliath), but I had the feeling that FH4 Goliath was shorter than 2. It may be due to the fact that in FH3 and 4 the Goliath is just the perimeter of the map (which are bigger than the one in FH2), while in FH2 the Goliath also goes internally to the map.

If you do the horizon finale one more time, you get the ending of the game because your goal was to defend horizon champion title and you cannot play horizon finale for a third time and I don't even know about it the game end like this.

It sounds like you have ABS turned off. Then the wheels will lock if you press the brake all the way. Try turning on ABS in the assist settings. Then it should be better.

The cities in FH2 look 10x better than the ones in FH3 and 4. It's like they didn't even put in that much effort in the cities in 3 and 4.

My damn game crashed 80 percent through the first time I played it, I raged so hard lmao.
I beat both of the 2 of the final races, yet I felt pride when I did.
