I love this quilt. It makes such a cute baby blanket or even making it larger for a picnic quilt. I love gingham! It's nice to see you doing a solo video again. Thanks for another great video.👍
I really enjoy your tutorials, there is something about your delivery that gives me enjoyment and a chance to learn , thank you
Gingham is always a classic!
Love the simplicity of this pattern!
I love this! Thank you so much for sharing with us ~
Love gingham. Definitely going to make some of these. Perfect for the current trend in not finding out the sex of baby, gender neutral quilt options.
Thanks a lot! It’s lovely! 😎🌸
This is fun. I love gingham.
I love it. I think I am going to use a light and dark same print, small scale floral for mine.
.
❤❤❤❤, thank you!
Beauty!
WOW!

I love this pattern. So versatile & you are a great instructor
It would be nice to have a PDF file to print out the pattern. Please and thank you 😊

Thank you !
Cute, cute, cute! BTW, I couldn't print this from the MSN Edge browser so I switched to Mozilla Firefox and it printed just fine.
Newbie here and I want to thank you for mentioning what it is you are looking for when you double check the placement of your ruler before cutting. 💜
yes. measure twice, cut once ... carpenter's rule becomes Quilter's Rule
I have a quick question Kimberly. It's about the Sew Sampler Box. I received mine today...yippee. I loved it! Thank you :) . I was surprised to get it today :) . Anyways this is a question about the future boxes. If there's a sampler box planned with Baby stuff/Fabric, is there a way to opt out of those ones? I don't have a baby, my baby years are long gone by. I don't know anyone with a baby and have no grand children, so kids fabric is no good for me. Just wondering about that. Thanks Kimberly :)
Hi Paula! We currently have no plans to make a "baby themed box" as I feel like your perspective is a lot like our other members. That genre is just too specific and narrow for a box. Thanks for being a subscriber!
Thanks Kimberly.
Can I put four of these quilt tops together to create a queen size? It seems like it!
HI Allison, yes you can! It would measure 80 1/2" x 100 1/2", so depending on how you like your queen quilts, you may opt to add a border or not!
What does press toward the medium mean?
Hi Christina, it means to press toward the medium toned fabric. You use a light, medium and dark set of fabrics for this quilt
Did you prewash? I see different thoughts on that.
Hi Mark! Kimberly does not pre-wash but we know some people love it. Our recommendation is to try different things and see what you like!
It would be great to have a print out pattern.
I found the print out, thank you 😊
Mary Van Kleeck Where did you find the printout? I looked on the web site and couldn’t find it.
Could I do this qag? I'm new to quilting
Hello Annette! Yes, the 3-Hour Baby Gingham quilt is a great place to start for a new quilter! It gives you a lot of practice with cutting and piecing straight ¼” seams. It may take you longer than 3 hours if you are just starting out, but completing it will definitely motivate you to keep quilting.
I love this gingham pattern. How would I make this into a twin quilt?
HI Judy, since this pattern is written specifically for stripsets, there is no real good way to adapt it. If you really wanted to go for a twin, you could make 2 quilt tops, then join them along the 50 1/2" sides, that would give you a 50 1/2" x 80 1/2" quilt center. THen you could add a wide border, and that would get you close to a twin size.
Thanks for your reply.
Where is the tutorial for doing the backing and the binding?
Hello Laura! We have a playlist of our binding videos here: ua-cam.com/play/PLNTabBf7OG9JWS783tlH7pf02-_oc8MA3.html
