Nice pattern. However, you should cut off the selvedges first before sewing fabric together.

When attaching the binding, are you using the walking foot or regular foot?

I use a Pfaff sewing machine, which has a built in walking foot. If you have one, definitely use it!

What kind of needle and thread and thread wt? Did you pre wash?

Just a normal cotton all purpose thread and universal needle
