You need to see Turn to Stone live at Wembley - a completely amazing performance! Actually the entire ELO: Wembley or Bust concert film is incredible and a must see for any ELO fan.
Screw the non-believers, block them if you can , assholes. You guys are so genuine, how can you not believe her laughs and giggles, she’s so cute, awesome reaction Kel. \m/ Stay Metal \m/
Yes, it is arguably one of the happiest songs ever written. Agreed. Even so, it isn't so happy a song that it could prevent me from taking my own life if it came down to that. Let's just hope that it never comes down to that.
@@MidwesternCornbilly Yeah, I did wax morbid rather suddenly didn't I. 😂 And I really don't know why I posted that anyway. It was just some silly point that I was making. Oh well. I'll try not to make anymore of those in the future if I can help it. (Laughing at myself.)

Kel, the past is the past but now you get to choose and ELO is everything to got your feet tapping or mind swaying, love your reactions because they are purely " out of the blue ".....magic
Kel's laughter made my eye water. In good way, though! Very touching indeed to see someone have such a joyful reaction to a tune they've never heard before. Priceless.
Such a treat to watch Kel's reaction to all these tunes that we all grew up on. In the most respectful way possible, it's like watching a toddler being given a present. Cheers me up to see such genuine human happiness.
ELO:The ultimate feel-good music. SO many to choose from but DO check out Across the Border from Out of the Blue. One of the best outtro's you'll ever hear.
10538 Overture was off ELO 1st album. The song that launched Electric Light Orchestra, the whole symphonic rock sound. By the way Kel, I felt the same way the first time I heard 'Turn to Stone' many years ago.
Out of the Blue is the seventh studio album by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in October 1977. Written and produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, the double album is among the most commercially successful records in the group's history, selling about 10 million copies worldwide by 2007
What I find rather interesting with what ELO did to this song was they made a song that was basically about feeling blue waiting for his girl to return, and yet making the song itself feel happy. You cannot help but want to get up and dance to that song. The juxtaposition is incredible between those two opposites.
I discovered ELO in the spring of '78 at almost 10 years old. "Turn To Stone", has been has been my favorite tune ever since. In fact when purchasing stereo components, over the years, "Turn To Stone" has been my reference song to audition the component, prior to purchase.
This always takes me to a time when me and my wife had no money and we where hungry, and a friends mum brought us around lots of open sandwiches from an event where she was a waitress, it was ELOs relaunch with the out of the blue album and a copy of the album. Happy days.👍
Love the reaction, ELO packs so much joy into their music, hearing them the first time is such a fun discovery, no one has melded orchestra and rock music better.
Because Jeff Lynne is SUCH a perfectionist, he was the only person really who could help with the Beatles Anthology. Then he was able to take the crackling cassette of John Lennon on Free as a Bird, & clean it up so that the others could "sing" w/John again. As a HUGE fan of George, soooo happy he did it before George died.
I've not heard millions of songs, Sod em!! Just keep doing this please, Kels Energy and Joy is like a breath of fresh air. x. No wonder you look content Rich. Another great reaction. Cheer's 🇬🇧
This is a very fascinating story about Kel's musical history. Also, the broad scope of music on this channel is simply amazing. Keep up the good work, as this to me is my number one go to channel for song reactions!
I just came across you guys yesterday, subscribed to your channel, and I gave this video like #1k, so I thought I'd comment. Love Kel's joyous reaction to my favorite ELO song, and willingness to let her inner child show! I love that you're both not afraid to show what emotions music evokes in you, as music has always been so emotional for me as well. I cried with both of you to A7X's "so far away", as I think most people that have lived long enough, have experience that sort of loss at some point, and that song/video is so good at tapping into that sorrow. I even re-appreciated Queensryche's "silent lucidity" after seeing Kel's reaction - always loved them btw. Anyway, this is old so you may not see this comment, but I think it's great and enjoy what your doing. Which is allowing everyone to see your love and appreciation for all this incredible music, as well as your love for each other which also so obvious, and is beautiful to see. The world needs more examples of love! You seem to be covering all the "best" and my only suggestion if you do see this would be to check out some Within Temptation sometime. Possibly "all I need" black symphony edition. I don't think you'll be disappointed...

ELO is one of my favorite bands, I have all the albums and the spin-offs (ELO II, The Orchestra and the soundalike L.E.O.). "Eldorado" is a concept album and my personal favorite but they made lots of great albums, "Face the Music," "A New World Record," "Out of the Blue" and "Time." I love the sound of the cello, ELO put it to good use.
Have always loved Jeff Lynne's ELO music. Their concert this year was amazing still after all these decades - tremendous show / absolutely perfect sound live.
Yeah.OUT OF THE BLUE is still their Masterpiece!....i still got the Double LP with the Paper Spaceship Kit !...Kel,check out the whole LP,you will love it for sure ;) .... check out their Version of ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN and of course MR BLUE SKY !!!

ELO was also inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Also, Dhani Harrison opened for ELO this tour and Dhani (George's son) comes on stage to play "Handle with Care" (Traveling Wilbuys who George and Jeff Lynne were a part of). Dhani sounds just like his dad. Does Kel know about the Beatles? Rock on!

Hey, guys! You MUST find a video of ELOs concert in Hyde Park, London, England in 2014. It was in front of an enormous audience of fans and was awesome!
This was the first ELO song I remember hearing as a teenager. Vocals got me hooked as well as the music. Was different from the hard rock I loved and started my realization that MUSIC is borderless. Great music abounds no matter the genre. Loved seeing your reaction Kel. Reminds me of myself years past. Love you guys!
YES !! ELO is feel-good music !! The reason this band was so eclectic is because of their string section...no one had really incorporated this combination before and is wildly popular. Good to see Kel laughing...I was like "Yep..she's digging it".
