Hey, I liked that contend. Nice layout. Instead of rolling around the map while spamming tunnels, you can just copy big tunnel sections. In later stages its nice to build a small factory of white on spot where you can get red blue green basecollors, to transfer only white instead of three more lines along the main bus. So we need less tunnels. Lets see how you manage the upcomming items :)
December 8 the Spaced Out DLC officially released on Steam for Oxygen Not Included. I know there was a development alpha going around to people who signed up, but now its live. I hope he didn't forget about that game !
Hey Nathan. I’m new to this game but I noticed that you can sometimes achieve a more compact design with redesigning a costum factory. That upgrade shape for example can be more compact by adding two stackers right after it. I also found the most compact design for extracting shapes from a four way cutter. You can make it yourself by placing the cutter horizontal with the output pointing to the top. The second output from the left is the only one with a belt and goes directly into a balanser. All other outputs have a tunnel. All extractors of the same shape connect to each other using tunnels as well. The most left output is going up 2 rows higher than the first one. The 3rd output is going up 3 rows higher than the first one. And the 4th one is going up only one row higher than the first row. Also thinking about preserving lag. Wouldn’t it be better to redesign your blueprints to replace belts with tunnels as much as possible?
I agree we can now start making more compact designs again. I'm already replacing most long belts with underground ones, will do more of that. In episode 6 we'll start converting our current factories to save some space.
I am intrigued by your BUS concept. When a resource on a specific path (EG: green) is used in a factory, how do you provide green to a different factory? Do you split the input from the green BUS or do you make a new path from the resource cluster? BTW: I am not a Factorio player, so references to that game are lost on me.)
I watch this Game here and enjoy it. Great Job. But don't want to play myself... I enjoy factorio more. Redesign a whole factory, without Bots? 😳 No sir 😊
Lol, why does everyone keep skipping how you make that small grey square on the bottom left of the white circle grey square piece?? Is it so obvious that it shouldnt even be discussed cause i have been trying to figure it out for hours lol
You have satisfied all my organizing desires.
Hehe👍
I am enjoying this a lot more than I though I would
😉
Have you considered doing a series on Factorio? I think your factory organizational skills would translate well to getting 1 rocket launch per minute

Will probably to that with the separate white factories next;)

Nope, but I don't wanna rush it like everyone else and basically don't know what they're doing;)

I'm always confused with those stackers as well and I even have a PhD in stackology from Bern-U
🤣👏 Useless degree, I'm glad I didn't go for it, I was temped, now I became a teacher!
Nice vídeo. Next serie: Factorio?
Maybe at some point, definitely played this game as a precursor for Factorio;)
Got it in school let’s. Gooooooo

you deserve more subs, man
Thank you for thinking that;)

After watching your other videos, I answered my own question. Thanks for your info videos.
I recommend to make huge factories making all the colours so you don't have to mix them every time.
Will do that in episode 6;)
just awesome!

I get that, Factorio is just way more complex and this here is just relaxing;)
For the stackers, the straight line goes to bottom layer. You dont need to check it.

I'm sorry if I skipped something important. I honestly don't remember the videos well enough to know what you're referring to though.
