One tip, Dont call Iceland Scandinavia. You will risk getting lots of upset comments telling you that Scandinavia is only Sweden, Denmark and Norway. They will be correct but sometimes they can be little bit rude. If you want to include Finland, Iceland or Faroe island use the term Nordics instead. Or Norden in Swedish. Then you will not risk getting anoying comments in your chatt. I hope you enjoy your stay in Sweden.
I totally understand why some people conflate Scandinavia and the Nordic countries, the point where I get annoyed is when people insist that Scandinavia and the Nordic countries are the same. One fairly easy way to remember is that Scandinavia is the three kingdoms (DK, SE and NO), while Iceland and Finland are republics.
I know the swedes speak english so wel butttt.... i would really REALLY recommend you learn swedish. Yes they are good at english but they prefer speaking swedish. Learning the language will help you integrate faster and it will feel very rewarding when you can speak it
You are right! Hopefully we will soon. It’s just a lot right now because we are also learning each other’s language (Italian, German) so we can talk to our families 😅
@@ChristinaGiulio ohw man that's gonna be complicated😂 i was exchange student in sweden 6 years ago and i learned swedish there but also had french and german classes at school, i kept confusing words, especially between german and swedish xD good luck and you live in a beautiful place!

When you get a itching mosquito bite go to the store and buy a bottle of Salubrin and dab it on with a cotton ball. If you can't find Salubrin white vinegar (Ättika) is almost as good. It will calm the itching.
A good mosquito spray is a must in Sweden. I would recomend, MyggA or Salubrin myggspray. Some say Sjö och hav is good to but I think MyggA is better but it smells worse. But Very soon its mosquito free here in Sweden and they will be gone to next spring.
